Fantastic House in a nice Location

We had a great time in a wonderful house with a super nice host. The place is near the Spanish border, which not only allows you to enjoy nice day trips to the sea and some super nice French beaches, but also to great cities such as San Sebastian and Bilbao in Spain. We can recommend this place to everyone that enjoys cooking, a peaceful day at the pool or simply a good time among family members or friends in a super cool house.

Fantastique séjour à Urrugne

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Urrugne. L'emplacement était parfait pour nous: très proche de services et épicerie, d'autres villes et villages. La maison était très propre et grande. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine, trampoline, table de tennis sur table, billard... Je recommande cette chaleureuse location!

Excellentes vacances

Nous avons séjourné dans cette magnifique villa pour des vacances en familles (3 générations). Nous avons adoré la villa: très spacieuse et extrêmement bien équipée, propre, avec un jardin et deux terraces privées joliment aménagées. Excellents contacts avec les propriétaires, qui nous ont, entre autre, donné de bons conseils pour faire de chouettes visites avec les enfants. Nous recommandons aux adultes l'excellent restaurant situé à 100m. Seul petit bémol: l'internet était instable ce qui aurait pu poser problème si nous avions dû nous connecter au bureau mais nos hôtes nous ont trouvé des solutions. Le problème était sans doute temporaire. Nous reviendrons probablement.

Merveilleuse propriété

Accueil très sympathique de la part de Pierre et de sa compagne. Maison très confortable et superbe jardin très bien entretenu ainsi que la piscine. Tous facilités de commerces à proximité. Le pays Basque est une région que nous avons beaucoup appréciée pour les paysages très divers et aussi pour tous les très bons produits (poissons, fromages, jambon de Bayonne....) Excellents traiteurs aussi. Mais !!! Petit bémol, nous n'avons pas eu de chance en cette première quinzaine de juin pour la météo comme un peu partout d'ailleurs et ça personne n'y peut rien.

Fantastic house in beautiful gardens with all the extras anyone could need. Within in easy access by car to beaches and towns. St Jean de Luz is lovely with lots of good shops & restaurants. Large Le Clerc supermarket within walking distance and short drive across border into Spain. Bedroom layout a little quirky but caused us no problems as there was only 3 of us.

Wonderful home and a great host

We stayed at this property for two weeks in June and July and had a wonderful time. Pierre is a great host. He met us when we arrived, showed us around, and even purchased some fruit and other supplies for us before we arrived. He brought by a bike with a baby seat and was generally very accommodating. The house itself is excellent too. The house has everything you need if you have kids: baby seats, crib, toys, even a trampoline. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. The house is clean, beds are comfortable, and there is tons of outdoor space, and things to do outside. Grill, pool, trampoline, ping pong table, large outdoor dining table, and a covered patio with couches for lounging, etc. The location is great too. You can walk to a little bakery for croissants and baguettes, and there is a wine store next door to the bakery. Leclerc (a huge grocery store and mall area) is nearby, as well. The beaches in Socoa and St. Jean de Luz are just a five-minute drive away and they both are in the bay so there are no waves, which is great for kids. We had a really great time and are looking forward to coming back.

Sejour Inoubliable

Tout d'abord nous voudrions remercier Pierre le proprietaire de la villa pour son service et son attention tres particuliere Durant nos 6 semaines au Pays Basque. Pierre a ete tres attentif a toutes nos demandes avec une reponse rapide a chaque fois et a toutes heures de la journee. le jardin ainsi que la piscine et tout les activites proposees etaient impeccable. Nous avons ete aussi tres impressionnes par l'accueil a notre arrivee a la villa. Il y avait 4 bonnes bouteilles de vin et champagne ainsi que tout le necessaire que ce soit pour manger ou pour le nettoyage ce qui facilite enormement notre installation. La location de la propriete est excellent, proche de toutes commodites tout en restant au calme. Venant d'Australie, c'etait notre premiere experience aussi longue et je recommanderais sans hesitation ce bien a la location car nous avons ete tres enchante.
