Perfection! Beautiful fully remodeled cottage w/AC, view, and steps to the sand!

This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, bright and breezy cottage embodies all the best of being at the beach wrapped up in an elegant shabby-chic design.

Every detail has been addressed to ensure a delightful stay.

Open plan gourmet kitchen, quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances.

Two queen size bedrooms. The bunk room is custom built in cedar and has its own 40' TV for the kids. The beds are a particular treat with 600 thread count white linens, exquisite mattresses and down and feather duvets and pillows.

The living/dinig area features a stone fireplace over which is a 50' flat screen TV with cable and complimentary YouTubeTV.

There are ceiling fans in every room.

The subway tiled bath room has the original refinished cast iron claw foot tub and custom antique vanity.

Separate laundry room with full size washer / dryer and second restroom.

Single garage (186 inches x 106 inches)

LAST BUT NOT LEAST…….The front porch is the perfect place for morning coffees and afternoon cocktails :) ….. is decked and beautifully fenced with custom dimmer controlled lanterns.
The cottage is located on the sunny side of the court (south facing) so the porch will always be sunny.

Propane bbq and patio furniture.

Within a stones throw there are the coolest cafes, coffee shops breakfast spots and restaurants. Olive Cafe, Better Buzz Coffee, And The Mission to name but a few within a hundred yards.

Nice beach house right off the bay and blocks from the ocean

We enjoyed the kitchen and living space the house offered. The location offered good access to the active beach scen, but was also quiet enough for just the two of us to enjoy and relax. And, the host was available for questions, and made our stay a positive one. Thank you.Marc and Amy

Quaint cottage in a great location, steps to the bay and a block to the ocean. No need to drive anywhere once you settle in. Lots of great resturants and coffee shops near by. Well appointed with and room for two couples and a couple of kids too. We would consider staying here agian.

Amazing!

My family and I had an amazing stay, such a cute little house and everything was walking distance. Lover how there were chairs and beach toys available for my littles to play with on the beach. Definitely will have to book again ij the feature!!!

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 year old and had a great time. We were steps from the bay and a short walk to the beach. The location couldn’t be any better. Molly was a great host. The dryer had some issues during our stay and she offered a temporary solution and had it serviced ASAP. We did find quickly that there were pesky ants. We were diligent on not keeping food out and cleaning up right away. It is known issue and addressed in the book provided by the host.

We had the best experience! So easy to communicate with Molly. The beds/pillows were amazing…best sleep…I keep thinking about it. Haha. It was the best place for us to relax and rejuvenate! Close to the airport, beach and sea world! Thank you for the recommendations on the best coffee @Saltwatercultureco !

Molly's place is located in a incredible spot. Excellent owner communication, and a lovely place. The half bath requires you go outside - and is missing sink. This wouldn't have stopped us from booking but I think listing probably should just say one bath!

Location was great! But…

Location was perfect & is where we are use to staying. It’s walkable to so many great places to eat & the beach is about 2 min walk & the bay 20 secs away. The house was so charming & lovely given its tiny size. We loved the little touches of a welcome basket! so thoughtful & appreciated. But we wouldn’t stay again due to the beds being so small. We couldn't sleep comfortably, it’s just too small of a space for my husband & our two kids. This would be the perfect place for a couple to have a romantic getaway. But we enjoyed our trip & had a great time. Communication with Molly was great very responsive & friendly.

Lovely host in a great location!

We had a great time in this cute little cottage by the beach. It is small but laid out wonderfully so there is plenty of space, even for my family of 6! The kitchen was well appointed, linens were luxurious and everything you need for the beach is here. My kids enjoyed the proximity to Belmont park, playgrounds, etc and we enjoyed the one minute walk to Better Buzz. I thought the parking situation would be a hassle with our larger vehicle and the small garage but we found parking in a lot just a couple of minutes away across bayside walk, and Molly provided directions to additional parking 0.9 miles away if needed. Finally, the host is wonderful! Answered my questions, extremely responsive and had extra heaters dropped off for an extra cold stay. We will plan on staying again, my kids are already asking to.

Adorable little cottage!!

We had a great time here. EVERYTHING is walking distance which is good because you don't want to have to pull your vehicle in and out of the parking space anymore than need be. The Bay is right outside the door, about a house away!! The Ocean is about a block away! Great location. We spent a lot of time on the beach with grandkids, tons of beach stuff, they had a blast! There are 4 bikes, it was so nice to go on long bike rides both on the beach and the bay. Everyone thought the beds were very comfortable! Could have had even a couple of more towels available. Should you plan on grilling, please confirm the grill has been replaced for it wasn't working when we went to use it. The house is a bit small but super cute and quiet. Should we go back to Mission area, we would stay here again.

Great Property

This property is well located, clean and excellent communication with owner. I would absolutely book this location again. We had 4 adults and two kids and the space worked very well. Proximity to beach is excellent. It was very quiet in the evening and the airflow was great with the windows cracked.

I was born in England and Ivey, my husband in South Africa. We moved to The States 25 years ago and have called it home ever since,. We live in Solana Beach, have two children of 23 and 19 and an oldJack Russell Terrier.
We love outdoor sports/activities adventure and travel and combine all on trips as often as possible.
We have two other vacation rental 379170 and 497367 which we also completely remodeled. I love the whole process from demo through to interior decor and am hands on at every stage. I hope it shows how much thought I put into you having the perfect place to stay while visiting Mission Beach.
