So nice, perfect space for 10 people, not a fun drive to casino when raining, but a great place to hang out, playing pool and snow fight in backyard

Overall, we really enjoyed this property. It fit our needs in terms of amenities, location, and size. There are a few minor things that could help make the experience even better. It would be great to have a screen on the upstairs sliding glass door. The upstairs gets very warm during the day and it’s difficult to cool it down because the slider has no screen. It would also be nice to have more cleaning items such as extra sponges and garbage and recycle bags. The property manager was very responsive to our request for extra items, and that is a very positive feature. I would definitely rent this property again.

Great location and great house for a family. Main floor was awesome for everyone to meet and hang out/place games and lower levels when you needed some privacy or peace away from others. Loved it!

The cabin had everything!! Great views of snow topped trees, spacious living room with floor to ceiling windows, play room for hours of pool and fusball. Couldnt have had more fun in the backyard snow ball fight. It was perfect for our family of 10.

Great house for a big company with a pet

Our group of 10 people enjoyed staying in this house a lot! A few things that made this distinctive comparing to other places we stayed before: * giant table in the living room to fit everyone * 5 solid bedrooms, almost each having separate bathroom * enormous variety of pots and pans to cook whatever you want * separate game room with pool table, also crazy amount of board games * hottub with forest view We would definitely come again.

Dependable and Consistent

There were a few minor maintenance issues we corrected easily. But the basic and comfortable needs when consistently renting are always well completed. Working with the Ladies at Tahoe Getaway have always ansered our needs.

Wonderful time together

This three story house with a large back lawn area was perfect for spreading out. The kitchen is very well equipped. The dryer was not heating properly, but we reported it and hopefully it has been repaired. We were close to hiking and beaches on the lake. I would definitely rent again.

Vacation success!

Everyone in my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was well stocked and clean without being too fussy so we could just relax and enjoy each other. We have not been together for four years so for all of us this was quite the treat. Hopefully we’ll be able to do it again in two years (summer 2025). Thank you for your attention to detail making our stay easy and care free… Sharon

Spacious Comfortable House

House was comfortable, clean, and spacious for a large family with small kids and teenagers. Only issue we encountered was our car was stuck in the snow in front of the house and the property manager was more concerned with the parking rules than our sad situation. Dealing with a car stuck with small children is very stressful. Overall, we had a great time. Tip: bring your own towels.

Thank you for the review Margaret. We are sorry for the issue you had with your car. This is why we recommend all guest use a 4WD/AWD and bring snow chains during the winter. While we are compassionate to your situation, we were trying to also stress that the County will fine for cars violating Short-term Rental parking rules. These fines start at $1,500.00. We are glad that after you purchased snow chains, you were able to enjoy your vacation!

Great stay

It was a great cabin. Lots to do to keep us and the teenagers busy. Lots and lots of games. There was some updates (ie. Some water damage in the master bathroom and grout needs a deep clean or redone) but otherwise a great cabin. Lots of room in the kitchen. The only thing was is that the property management said there was a half bath upstairs on the main floor w the kitchen but there either was none or it was the door that was locked.

The house was large and perfect for several families!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the separate space for the kids in the game room and tv room while parents coukd stay in the living room. Know there are several steps to sell 3 levels but that wasn't an issue for us. Everything was clean and the kitchen stocked well. Pantry space was a plus so we could keep the area clutter free. I would for sure come back to the Woodside House!

Woodside Lodge

We love this house because it is bright, open and comfortable, and has a game room downstairs with foosball and a pool table that our adult children and grandchildren love. It is extremely well-appointed and has every kitchen item anyone could want. This is important as we do all our own cooking. We love the spacious pantry and the extra refrigerator downstairs. I would make a few suggestions for the future - we could have used more bath towels. Duvet covers get dirty and it would be nice to have them washed after each use. A larger table that would seat 10 people on the deck would allow us to eat outside. However, we had a wonderful experience and can't wait to come back!
Response from VrboOwner on 20 November 2025
We're thrilled to hear that you love the bright, open, and comfortable atmosphere of the house, as well as the amenities like the game room and well-appointed kitchen. Your feedback about the bath towels and duvet covers is duly noted, and we'll work to improve these aspects for your future stays. We appreciate your suggestions, and we're glad you had a wonderful experience overall. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon for another enjoyable stay!

Spacious cabin with lots of extras

This cabin is great for large groups. Three floors gives enough space for everyone and gives adults some separation from kids! The kitchen is well stocked and there are tons of extra towels and bedding. The large windows in the main room offered a spectacular view of the snow and the extra refrigerator ensures you don't need extra coolers. We encountered a couple issues. The heater makes a lot of noise and kept some of us up. The kids were especially freaked out. Also the bottom bedroom is a sweltering dungeon. It is so stuffy in there that my partner had to sleep on a couch instead. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and we would return (without staying in the bottom bedroom).

Response from VrboOwner on 8 August 2023
The home owner has replaced the baseboard heaters and updated the boiler to mitigate the noise experienced by guests. This shouldn't be an issue moving forward. If any future guests have trouble keeping all rooms temperate, please reach out as we are sure to be able to offer some good tips!

Woodside Lodge Issues

Hello, My family and I stayed at the Woodside Lodge from 09/08 - 09/12. We appreciated the openness of the house. The smoke from the mosquito fire was horrible and we had to stay inside with the windows closed. Thankfully, the house is very spacious and allowed us to be together or spread out. Now for the issues we found: The grill is unusable. One half of it is almost rusted through. The other side is suspect at best. We had to bake the meat we had brought to grill. The railing on the top bunk of the bed to the left of the door is not attached. It freely moves and can be taken off. The faucet in the kitchen is broken and leaking. There also appears to be a leak under the sink. FYI: the remote on the 2nd floor needs batteries. Denise Muzzini

Fun at Woodside Lodge

Enjoyed our stay! Have already booked for next year. Although we had problem with dish washer, someone was sent out same day to try to fix ( unable to do so, but gave additional time for checkout for compensation). Only other thing was no laundry soap provided (otherwise we would have done load of towels before we left). 😊
