Fantastic stay in Family Chalet

The chalet is clearly a very much loved family ski home, and has been lovingly appointed over the years. Very convenient for us, as we drive up and down the valley, and only a very short drive down into Chamonix. Beautifully quiet, set in large private grounds. Matthieu was especially helpful, and did everything possible to ensure that we had a great trip. Would definitely recommend this chalet, and would stay again.

Exceptionnel, unique !

Long séjour dans ce magnifique chalet idéalement situé entre Chamonix et Argentière. Tout y est parfait : calme, confort, décoration, espace, rangement, très bien équipé, rien ne manque ! Magnifique jardin plat, exceptionnel dans la région, d'où l'on peut admirer les superbes couchers de soleil sur la chaine du Mont-Blanc. Propriétaire exceptionnel par son accueil, sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et ses conseils. Le bonheur total durant ces vacances et notre souhait le plus cher est de rejoindre cet endroit superbe le plus rapidement possible.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le chalet de Matthieu. La vue est magnifique et il est très joliment décoré. Les différentes pièces sont très bien réparties, beaucoup de rangement, une décoration raffinée... Les photos ne traduisent pas assez la beauté du lieu. Un arrêt de bus à proximité vous amène à Chamonix ou Argentières. Matthieu était disponible à la moindre question et le guide du chalet est très utile pour découvrir les lieux sans le propriétaire. N'hésitez pas !

Merci beaucoup Hélène pour votre appréciation. Je suis content que vous ayez apprécié le chalet et son environnement. Vous étiez avec de très jeunes enfants, et le chalet de plein pied sur un grand terrain gazonné plat est très adapté pour cela. Il est vrai qu'il est difficile de rendre en photos la situation extrêmement privilégiée du terrain, totalement isolée de la foule des estivants dans la vallée, avec une vue dégagée sur les montagnes à 360°, en particulier sur ses majestés le Mont-Blanc et l'Aiguille du Midi que l'on voit tous deux de toutes les pièces du chalet (sauf 1 chambre donnant sur le haut de la vallée), et notamment de la cuisine, de la salle à manger et du salon : on vit (!) avec eux et cela permet d'admirer le jeu des lumières au fil de la journée, du levée au coucher du soleil. Cosy, luxurious and majestic view on Mont Blanc!

We had a great time in the chalet of this lovely couple / family. They helped us a lot by phone and email when we were preparing our stay in the chalet. It's fully equipped to the little details in the kitchen, because the family spends a lot of time there. One night we had a fondue (specialty of the region) and there was also a stone grill. The atmosphere is very cosy and luxurious. Even if the spaces are not huge, it is very suitable for the group to hang out and the bed- and bathrooms were comfortable. Downstairs bedroom has a en suite bathroom. We had 3 couples, an adult and 2 toddlers in our group. The rooms are very comfortable, 1 room had a queen sized bed so suitable for a couple that needs less space. We used the baby crib from the family. There is a big river running next to the house to discover. And the terrace with BBQ in the garden was a perfect getaway in the sunshine. The best part of the whole setting was the majestic and uninterrupted view on the Mont Blanc itself!

As you rightly mention it, one of the room is with a queen size bed. To be on the safe side, we count only 1 person in it but a couple would also make it, indeed. Two other rooms include each a large king size bed. The fourth room includes either two single or a large king size bed, at guests' request. This room connects with a small room "under the roof" which can sleep 2 children. Best regards. Matthieu

EXCELLENT SEJOUR A ARGENTIERE

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour au chalet Lafite à Argentière. Chalet spacieux très accueillant, parfaitement préparé et très bien équipé. Propriétaire attentif. Fantastic Chalet!

My family and I stayed at Chalet Lafite for 10 days in August/September 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Chalet is in a beautiful location with magnificent views of Mont Blanc. There is excellent access to a great trail network right beside the chalet and a lovely private secluded garden to the rear and side of the Chalet (this was perfect for our young children). The Chalet itself was extremely clean, well equipped and very well looked after. The owner was also very accommodating and helpful both before and during our stay. I highly recommend staying here.
