Great location and apartment!

We loved our stay here and the location was fantastic. It was a great combination of living like a local but access to the tourist spots was very easy by walking or taking the metro. Lots of markets and cafes within the area and close the Seine. Virginie was always available for any questions and very quick to respond. Thank you for sharing your home Virginie!

Home away from home

When you book on VRBO your hope is that you will find a beautiful place to stay that is well maintained and loved by it owners. We were lucky to find this gem. Virginie was a lovely helpful host and the flat was perfect for our family. Just as described and photographed. Even the heatwave didn’t put a damper on our stay.

What a perfect place to come home to after a busy day in Paris! Comfort, style and location in the Fifth, close to transportation, restaurants and some of the best markets and parks in Paris, yet removed from the crowds and tackiness of the “tourist Paris” a little to the west and on the Right Bank. The owners are gracious hosts with impeccable English, who provide a Paris home that is hard to leave behind.

The apartment was beautiful. We had everything we needed. Our hosts left us a small Christmas tree and decorations in the living and dining rooms. It was a great place to spend Christmas, and we would highly recommend this property.

Fabulous Apartment in the Heart of Paris

I hardly know where to begin with this review because everything was really fabulous! My wife, son (10 YO) and I spent a magical week here in late October. I'll start with the apartment itself - it's a gem...classical architecture, i.e., high ceilings, molding, wooden floors, nicely furnished, quiet, spacious and comfortable. We also felt very safe in the building. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. The location is unbeatable! We bought weeklong Metro passes and only used them three times to visit museums that were too far to reach by walking, and to return to the train station for our trip home - otherwise, we walked everywhere - it's very central. There were many good restaurants and cafes in the immediate area, grocery stores and fresh markets. I can't say enough about how welcoming and hospitable Virginie was. She was extremely responsive and accommodating when we were making the reservations. We were able to easily access the apartment just as she described. She left a book with many helpful tips. We had to contact her once or twice during our stay with specific questions, and she responded immediately even though she was on vacation herself. I've always had great success on vrbo, and this was truly our favorite rental - we all agreed that we'd love to come back and stay here to explore Paris again. Thanks much, Virginie :-) This would be great for anyone - young or old, singles, couples, friends and families with children!

We enjoyed it very much. Hope we can return next year..

The visit to this apartment was the best it could have been.Unfortunately,my husband was hospitalized with a stroke due to a blockage in the carotid artery which he knew nothing of.Luckily the medical system were well prepared and the results were well done. Virginie,our hostess,was also the mostly kindly in the circumstances.Our thanks to her and family for everything they did for us. So far as the location and area they were magical.We wish that the apartment will be available when we book again next year.

Close to the Seine river and Notre Dame, our apartment is a very typical parisian flat with wooden floors "parquets" and fire places.You will feel confortable in it, it can accomodate up to six people.You can walk to the Seine river and Notre Dame, l'île saint Louis and le Marais.You are just near the rue Mouffetard, you will enjoy a lot of typical restaurants and cafés.
