Excellent location, access to public transportation, foodie street rue Montorgueil, safe, quiet apartment. VRBO Host Catherine was responsive to my questions and very helpful. She made. A dinner reservation for me! Highly recommend her place!

We were very happy staying in Catherine’s apartment! We loved the location!! It was very lively, lots of restaurants, shopping, cafes, bars, jazz, rock, and very close to the metro. Even though the area was busy the apartment was quiet. Very central location to all of Paris. The apartment was perfect for us. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We felt right at home! The lift was helpful for luggage and we appreciated not having to walk lots of stairs. The washer, dryer and dishwasher were nice conveniences and we enjoyed the peacefulness of the balcony overlooking a lovely courtyard. The building had locks on the doors to get into the building for security. Catherine was very quick to respond to messages and was very helpful. This was our first time in Paris and we didn’t know what to expect, but we would stay in Catherine’s apartment again!! The apartment looks exactly like the Vrbo photos. Excellent stay!

One of the best rental

Everything was close to perfection. The secured building, the appartement, its location, it’s complete equipment and the kindness and eager to please of the host Catherine. I have rented for over 20 years and it’s by far one of the best I’ve ever rented I will definitely rent it again when traveling to Paris, crossing my fingers that it will be available when I need it.

Heart of Paris for couples, filled with local spots

Top location for walking to main attractions, taking the Metro, or just hanging at the mall when it rains. Great cafes and restaurants like Saudades Portuguese cuisine for a multicultural gastronomic experience. I also liked to be in someone’s home, amazing art with on the walls, quiet nights, instead of an impersonal hotel room with mega production decorations. Warm and cozy.

Very practical layout with everything we could possibly need, but above all GREAT position. Immediate access to all Paris has to offer! Pleasure to do business directly with the owner and her representative who kindly met us and provided a useful introduction to the apartment and it’s surrounds. Great location!

The apartment was very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a five night stay. The espresso machine and the washer and dryer were wonderful amenities. Having coffee in the morning on the balcony listening to the birds was so peaceful and relaxing. It was a very quiet location. The proximity to the Forum des Halles was a few steps right outside the exit of the apartment building. In addition, the Metro was also located right below the shopping center which made for very convenient travel around the city. Jean-Jacques was terrific and texted us to let us know which exit to take from the train station, otherwise we wouldn't have had a clue. Thank you Jean-Jacques and Catherine for a lovely stay.

Nice flat in the best location!

Nice, very adequate flat. Had everything we needed during our 4 day stay in Paris. You cannot beat the location across from Les Halles Metro Station. I love fresh air and was so happy we could open the doors to the courtyard both in the living room and the bedroom. Very nice, secure building with an elevator. There were so many restaurants within walking distance that we had difficulty choosing where to eat each night! There is a Super Marche G20 in very close walking distance. Catherine was wonderful to communicate with from beginning to end of our rental. She gave us great information, details, and directions. A very prompt return of our deposit was appreciated. I would not hesitate to return to this flat in the future. Thanks Catherine!

Wonderful and in the centre of everything!

Anne-Catherine's place was perfect for us. Merci Beaucoup! Clean and with all the amenities that you will need. Jean Jacques met us right outside of the metro Chatelet Les Halles. The apartment is in the middle of everything. Les Halles as a metro and return station to get you anywhere in the city literally a one minute walk and a shopping centre for anything you might have forgotten. You are just steps from brasseries, shops and boulangeries. Across Chatelet is St. Eustace Cathedral and just beyond is Montroguel another great Parisian neighborhood loaded with brasseries and shops. Steps away from Rue de Rivoli and a 15 minute walk to the Louvre Museum and Tuileries. If you fly into CDG take the RER B to Chatelet about 40 minutes for about 10 Euros. Way cheaper than a taxi and probably faster. I can't say enough good things about the apartment or the area. You need to experience it yourself.

Great location, but best to avoid the height of the summer

This is a great little apartment in the heart of the action of Les Halles. Just a short walk from cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and every RER and Metro line you could possibly need. The Washer and Dryer and Steamer Wand were great amenities to have, and the espresso cups and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived were a welcoming touch. During our visit there was a heat wave, and while the balcony overlooks a lush courtyard that cools after the sun goes down, this property does not have AC and windows have no screens. Just make sure to check the weather before your trip if you are visiting during summer months. There were some issues with cleanliness, but I was able to resolve any issues with Catherine both during and following our stay. Being in the middle of the vacation season for France, they were unable to use their usual cleaning staff, but she has assured me that this was an outlier situation and shouldn't be an issue at all for future guests. All in all we had a wonderful stay, and mornings on the balcony listening to the bird calls and quiet in the heart of the city will stay in our memories for years to come.

I have never stayed in the 1st Arrondissement before, but was so pleased with the location. Major sites are easily walkable, lots of restaurants, shopping on Rue St Honor and the convenience of Chatelet Les Halles right outside the door was amazing. And even though the apartment building is located in a busy area, we heard no street noise as the apartment overlooks an interior courtyard full of greenery. Very peaceful. The apartment itself is roomy and very comfortable. We loved it and look forward to staying again

Great stay in perfect location

This property was very comfortable, in a more modern building with two elevators. It looked out on to a courtyard and was extremely quiet. The outside patio was wonderful although we didn’t sit out due to our November visit. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. Outside your door were restaurants, cafes and shops galore. Also, with Les Halles metro station literally one minute walk, you could go anywhere you wanted. It is one of the largest stations, and the RER B train also is there. That connects you directly to/from CDG in about 45 minutes. The Marais is about an 8 minute walk, the Seine is about the same! The location cannot be beat. All neighbors in the building who we came in contact with were very friendly. Catherine was very easy to deal with and allowed us to stay an extra night. We felt very Parisian staying there and would stay again. One of its best benefits is that check in starts at 8:30, so if you are arriving early morning, no problem.

Marvelous

Great communication and smooth thorough check in. Everything one would want was provided. Very comfortable. And the building is secure with three special access entrance doors before you reach the lifts. Quiet balcony overlooking pretty courtyard. The Forum outside the front of apartment is always bustling with activity. Well located with many sights and activities within walking distance, or the bus or metro if you like.

This was our 7th stay in Paris over many years. Loved the Les Halle area. Very vibrant. The apartment was quiet and comfortable with a lovely courtyard. The host was lovely and very flexible, allowing us to stay an extra day when our flight was cancelled and rebooked a day later. We would happily stay again.

This VRBO was exactly as advertised. Great location with the Metro stops very close. In a busy area but the apartment was super quiet. Bed was comfortable and the washer and dryer are a plus. Tons of shopping and restaurants close by. Overall a nice place great location.

charme et confort

Très bien situé dans un quartier plein de vie, on y retourne en fin de journée dans un oasis de calme, avec son beau jardin intérieur et ses beaux tableaux.Très bien équipé, l’appartement est confortable et charmant avec une intéressante bibliothèque qui donne envie de lire.
