One of the best remodeled units in the complex. Modern and fully furnished with everything you need. The unit has air conditioning in every room and individually controlled. Local restaurant on first floor. Sitting directly on the beach, only 3 miles from Wailea, and 9 miles from the airport, you have a perfect location with lots of beaches, golf courses, shops, restaurants, snorkel, surfing, fishing, farmers markets, and activities nearby. Amenities include an oceanfront pool, (heated), 2 shuffleboards, gas barbecues Oceanside and on the rooftop with 360-degree views, ceiling fans for additional cooling, but rely on those great ocean breezes; plus, free parking and free fast WiFi. The couch has a pull-out Queen with memory foam mattress. Adjacent to the resort is the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, along with the historical 16th Century Alii (Royal) Fishpond of Kalepolepo. Protected by offshore reefs, the pond provides a safe swimming area for children and those who prefer gentle surfing. No road to cross to get to the beach, It at your door step! Great stay in Kihei

The location was great to discover Maui, It was really close to some nice beaches; but also a great base for the road to Hana and to drive to mount Haleakala for the sunrise. The appartment and the pool were also really with some restaurants and supermarket close by.

Great Place in Maui

The condo is awesome-AC units in the bedrooms and living room which worked great, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and coolers to use, in unit washer and dryer, steps to the pool and beach, great roof top deck with grills and easy free parking in the lot. Location is very good as well close to local restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to Maui!

A Fun Stay in Kihei

The property was beautiful, and exactly as described. The kitchen had anything you would ever possibly need, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, the lanai and the pool were fantastic. And that VIEW! The location was perfect for exploring the island, and close to restaurants and grocery stores. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay there!

Great Stay

Communication was great and check-in was simple. The location of the property was perfect a nice central location in Maui. Condo was well stocked, had two beach chairs, two boogie boards and a cooler which was really helpful. Beds were super comfortable and we loved sitting on the balcony in the evening to watch the sunset and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Wonderful vacation, great apartment !

Mark's apartment is located in a superb location in Kihei, in a well-maintained and very convenient condominium. The flat was very clean, organized, and comfortable, with absolutely awesome views of both the pool and the beach. We spent so much time staring at the beach Mark was super responsive and flexible and helped us with every ask (much appreciated!). thank you, Mark, we will surely come back!

Best view in Maui

We had a great stay in this Maui condo! The only hiccup was a late check in while it was being cleaned. Despite that, no complaints. We enjoyed the fish pond beach (with daily turtle sightings!), the pool, grill, and extras (chairs, umbrella, toys) available. Very clean and great location. Would definitely stay again!

Loved this condo!

This was a great find. The condo is clean and has a great view. There is beach supplies including chairs and an umbrella and a cooler and ice packs. The owner was quick to respond to our questions (like what is the WiFi password) and it’s in a great location to stay to access all of Maui, and not too touristy of an area. We would stay here again!

First trip to Hawaii

This was our first time visiting Hawaii and our stay was wonderful. The condo property was well maintained and the staff was so friendly. The view from the condo is amazing. Around the corner from the condo was a sea turtle resting place and so magnificent to see every morning. The turtle watchers that marked off viewing distances were always full of knowledge about the island and the turtles. Anything you needed from grocery store to a restaurant was within a 20 minute drive or less. The condo is as pictured and very clean. We enjoyed our stay!

Great stay with kids and grandson!

This property was as advertised and more! We were so impressed with cleanliness of our unit and the complex as a whole! The unit was very well stocked with towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, a cooler, beach toys and plenty of kitchen supplies. Air conditioning was a huge bonus! The view… wow! Thank you Mark! We had a fantastic vacation and will be back!

We really enjoyed our two week stay in #507; this was our 8th time staying at the Menehune Shores and we've stayed in as many other units during previous visits. The was one of the nicer units for sure with lots of options for seating in the living room. Great storage options as well with many drawers in the living spaces for all of our stuff. The recent renovations make the place very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We'd stay here again.

Maui beauty

Me and my daughter came to Maui for a get away from after visiting Honolulu the place was very clean the condo was very spacious and the view from the Lanai was gorgeous Every morning it was breathtaking to see the ocean waves and the island. it is very convenient not far from anything 5 to 10 minutes drive to the stores . the rooms for a very comfortable clean bathroom clean kitchen had everything we needed plus more we would definitely stay here again Mahalo Melissa and daughter Jolie

Great Maui condo

Very clean and comfortable condo. We enjoyed whale watching from the deck and our kids (ages 5 and 2) loved the pool and swimming in the fish pond. Our two year-old wasn't up for walks on the beach, but if she had been, we would have enjoyed more walks along Sugar Beach. The sunset conch shell blowing on the rooftop was a lot of fun. We only wish the Indian Restaurant on the bottom floor would provide poolside beverage service.

Perfect condo for our family

The condo is beautiful and was perfect for our stay. Gorgeous views and a good location. The only small problem we had was the owner stopped communicating with me after we got there. There was no detergent so he told me that I would be reimbursed for buying some but I have not been. He did not respond to my questions about that or about where to find sheets for the sofa bed. Overall a great stay.

Amazing!!!

First time Muai visit! My parents, husband and I all enjoyed the homie feel and quite peaceful ocean veiw. We could not have asked for anything more. There were coolers, chairs, and umbrellas to use for the beach wich is a 1 min walk to! We were unware there was a restraunt on sites witch was a huge plus. My 72 year old father and mother really enjoyed the whale sanctuary located right next to condominium. The one time I needed to contact the property manager he responded within a minute. Would 100% stay again and advice others to stay as well.

Another Relaxing Stay

We always come back to Mark's Menehune Shores condo for its location, amenities, and that lovely view. The living room TV is new; bring your passwords for your streaming accounts. This time we noted several cabinet and closet doors not closing/sealing as they should but they're nothing a handyman can't easily fix. Also, occasional deep cleanings will help keep this condo in its usual tip-top shape. We had no communication with the property manager, only with Mark (owner) and he's always great to work with. Thanks again!

Great Beachfront Location & Easy Intra-Island Driving

This was our second time staying in this condo. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with. The condo fronts a small yet usually calm "baby beach" - great for families with young kids. The condo is also a good starting point for many intra-island locations i.e. Lahaina, Kahului, upcountry, etc. We like being close to Ululani's Shave Ice, numerous food options - at Azeka Mauka/Makai, Kalama Village and so on - and at least three supermarkets. The afternoon trade winds provide natural air conditioning through the condo but if needed, there are three ductless A.C. units. Kitchen has almost everything you need to make meals. Numerous sand toys as well as boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels are also provided. Do bring your own personal toiletries as only a few toilet paper rolls, small hotel sized soaps and one partially used paper towel roll is provided. For the rental management company I suggest providing more soap, toilet paper & paper towels especially for people who are staying longer than week in the condo. Some suggestions for travellers: * Nokaoi Baby Rentals & Akamai Mother's Rentals both deliver rental car seats to OGG airport. No need to lug yours on the plane. * I did research and Kihei's tap water is potable. Just buy a Brita pitcher & new filter to filter your own better-tasting drinking water. Better for the planet and saves $. * On-site recycling is disappointing. Easy to drop-off your recyclables (paper, cardboard, non #1 & #2 plastics) at the Kihei Recycling & Redemption Center, ~2 mi south before Kalama Village. * Eat at the Mill House Restaurant at Maui Tropical Plantation; it's our favorite Maui restaurant. When we travel to Maui again, we'll very likely stay in this same condo. Aloha~

Peaceful, comfortable condo with an excellent view

We have been to Maui many times and have stayed in numerous condos. We agreed this one topped the list! We spent hours every day on the lanai, with a beautiful ocean view...delighted when the turtles popped their heads out of the water, seeing the outriggers paddle out each morning and watching amazing sunsets! The best part is that there isn't a building next door, so you are able to see down the beach and just watch the palm trees sway. The "pond" out front is an area of ocean that is calm because there is an ancient Hawaiian rock wall build further out. It is so nice because it causes the waves to break out at the rocks and keeps the beach very calm. It is also shallow and I could let my 8-year old play in the ocean without being worried about strong currents. The rocks attract turtles and we were amazed when we "swam" with them each time we ventured out. We couldn't believe you had 2 adult snorkel gear bags and everything you would need for the beach - coolers, chairs, boogie boards, etc. It helped to make our trip experience that much more amazing! We also took advantage of the heated pool many times. (If pools aren't heated in Hawaii this time of year, they are pretty unbearable. And they are hard to find.) My son loved that you had pool noodles too! The beds are very comfortable. (I have a back that can be unhappy, but slept very well.) The living room furniture is also very nice. The showers are great. And, the efficient air conditioning was really helpful on the almost 90-degree days. It cooled down the bedrooms really quickly, allowing us all to sleep well. The kitchen had everything we needed, including smaller plastic cups for the kiddo. We cooked our dinners here on most days, as there wasn't a better sunset view to be found! The complex itself is very well kept. The employees were out every morning before 7am cleaning the pool area - not just the pool, but all loungers, chairs, etc. Everything was clean and overall, very quiet. There is also a shower and foot washer in the pool area for when you come up from the beach. The roof was closed until our very last day, but the views from the roof were incredible. We definitely will take advantage of that on a future trip. Mark is a wonderful owner. He responded very quickly whenever we had questions. We can't recommend this condo enough!

Comfortable Unit
