This place is great! You sit in the deck & feel like you’re on a cruise. The building is great - super quiet & the management is on top of everything. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in Maui. Great location, condo is well equipped & very comf!!

Chad is the greatest VRBO host on the planet. Out of 7 stays in Kihei in 8 years, this was by far our favorite one. Everything was modern and updated and every detail was thought of. There’s a great restaurant in the 1st floor (Monsoon) and the views of West Maui and the ocean are stunning.

Perfect location

This place was perfect for us. Great location for traveling across the island. View from balcony is phenomenal. Condo was stocked with everything we needed. Would stay here again.

Family Trip

We traveled with a family group who all stayed in the same building. By comparison, our condo was far better suited to our creature comforts — great view, reliable appliances, and a/c, all amid thoughtful original artworks. Chad was easy & quick to communicate with. And the location made our first visit to Maui very convenient.

Amazing!

The condo was perfect!! Had everything we needed and was so clean!! The view was amazing! I spent lots of time on the balcony! You can watch turtles from the balcony and walk around the rocks and they are there on the sand! Such a wonderful trip! Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful condo!

Outstanding View

Fantastic view, the host is the best to communicate with. The Condo is clean, comfortable and has everything you need in the kitchen. We stayed two weeks at this condo this year and two weeks last year. And maybe we will stay next year.

Amazing Stay in Kihei!

Fantastic apartment right in the heart of it all! Clean, beautiful, modern and relaxing apartment! Gorgeous views from your private terrace! Fully equipped beautifully renovated kitchen and bathroom-even beach chairs to use! The host Chad was most accessible and accommodating with any questions before and during the stay! Highly recommended and would love to plan another trip at some point!

Great stay in Kihei

The condo was clean, updated recently, and right on the beach. The property manager was very responsive when we had a question. Kihei is an unpretentious place to stay that is centrally located. Tons of beautiful beaches whether you want to walk from the condo or take a short drive. The Condo had good amenities including beach chairs, an umbrella, and a few beach toys. Great place to stay in Kihei!

What a view!

The property was clean and nicely updated. Had everything we could have needed for our stay including beach chairs and an umbrella. A/C worked great and having a washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus. The locations was perfect. Central to everything we wanted to do while we were in Maui. Watching the sunset from the balcony never got old! Even saw sea turtles from the balcony every morning! Overall a great experience staying here and it made for an amazing anniversary trip for my wife and I.

Perfection

The apartment was perfect- so many thoughtful touches- available cooler, equipment etc. Sparkling clean and location cannot be beat. Can see the turtles from the balcony. Chad was quick with responses and a fantastic host- highly recommend!

Can't beat the view

The property is in North Kihei, which is less congested. You can't walk to anything but everything is a short car ride. The unit was nice, not luxurious. There is a small beach adjacent to the property. In front of the property is a break wall which protected the shore and made swimming/snorkeling better, especially for yougner children. The grounds were well manicured. Every morning the sea turtles would come in and hang around the break wall which was fun to see.

Honeymoon

Chad is a fantastic host. He was prompt with communication and the place was exactly as described. We sat right in front of the ocean, we got to see sea turtles and the prettiest views. The beach and pool were right there, along with a restaurant on the property. The place was a short drive to almost anywhere we wanted to go on the island, which was a great bonus. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our honeymoon. Mahalo!

Great place

Just like the pictures, great place very relaxing, just what we were looking for. The owner (Chad) email saying that the roads were washed out due to heavy rains and flooding that was nice of him. By the time we arrived the roads were open you could see the mud but all was good. It was a raining weekend but remember your still in Maui. The Safeway is very close to get everything you might need. You might stop by the condo first to check what’s been left over so you don’t get things you don’t need. Bring your streaming passwords so you can login to your favorites. Even though it rained off and on great time we would replete that’s Chad for opening your home to us

Great for Whale Watching

Overall a wonderful stay! Beautiful place, quiet, and being right on the water was magical. Enjoyed whale watching from the balcony, the condo even came with nice binoculars! It is right on an ancient fish pond which provides a shallow protected swimming spot. The beaches next to the building are very nice (bring water shoes for the coral). There is an A/C in the bedroom and in the living room. With the windows open the living room and kitchen don't need A/C. The bedroom can get stuffy at night so the A/C is nice for that. (Unfortunately the bedroom A/C was broken most of the time but the host was really great about trying to get it fixed so we really don't hold it against the property). Well stocked kitchen, we did a lot of cooking (and eating fruit) and never were in need of anything. The host was very kind to let us know we could go in early which was great since we were tired from our flight. The condo building seems to be very well managed. Good to know: The couch does fold out into a bed but is small and would not be great for two adults, fine for one or for kids. The photo shows the balcony has a bar height table and chairs, now there are 4 chairs and two small coffee tables (which worked out fine). We would love to stay there again!

Clean, updated, super commutative host

We stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving 2022 with my family. Access to the beach is just getting down to the elevator. There are multiple other picturesque beaches mere steps away. The property itself was just as described but better than some of the comments I'd read before booking. Kitchen seems recently renovated, nice couches, very comfy bed, nice bathroom, and the host had plenty of beach utilities for us to use. Towels were sparkling clean, and the kitchen was stocked well with plates, glasses, silverware, other utensils etc. In short, you just needed to get your food and you were right at home. I saw a review complaining about blinds or curtains; seems they were installed already and we had no issues keeping it dark at dawn. Chad was also super fast to respond a couple times I needed to ask him something. He even proactively reached out to let us know he'd been notified that the internet was down for a couple of hours. We really appreciated his fast response even though nothing we asked was of urgent nature. Next year we won't be searching for properties; we're coming back here again. Thank you Chad for hosting us. It was a blast.

Overall Disappointment

The area is probably one of the worst in the entire island. There are homeless people all around. The beach is dirty, rocky and muddy. The place is very windy and dry. The view is a dry windy mountain. There is a restaurant downstairs in the building that creates nauseating odors throughout the day. The AC unit in the bedroom creates sounds that are disturbing. Especially annoying during nighttime. The unit does not have curtains or shades which is bizarre. My son couldn’t nap during daytime due to excessive sunlight reaching the unit. The towels provided were stinky and unusable. Bringing your own towels is highly recommended. Overall the unit is updated and clean but the building is old, not well maintained and noisy. Also, the parking is very crowded and spaces are small. Somebody backed off their car and scratched and damaged my side mirror. I would not recommend staying at this property. Spend little more and go to Kaanapali, Wailea or Napili.

We loved spending time on the balcony watching the sunsets! The little beach at the complex was perfect for a calm, relaxing time. The condo itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was fabulous, close to pretty much everything. The host was incredibly responsive to our questions. We would love to stay here again.

The location of "Can't Get any Closer to the Ocean" was perfect! Nothing beats that view while sitting on the balcony, drinking coffee! The condo and the building were very clean, kitchen was stocked with everything you need, although we mostly used the outside grills (which were cleaned every morning!). We will most definitely stay here again! Mahalo for sharing your beautiful place!

Birthday getaway

I took my wife to Hawaii for her birthday and stayed here during our trip. The view from the condo is incredible, a great place to watch the sunset over maui. The condo also had beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, a beach mat and umbrella available for our use. . It is also well located in Kihei. Very close to grocery stores, shops, resturants. There is also 2 very nice beaches located steps away from the ground level of the condo complex. I would 100% stay here again.
