Oceanfront Condo steps to both famous Kamaole I and Kamaole II beaches. No elevators or stairs to navigate. Nothing stands between you and the ocean but the carpet of beautiful grass under your feet. Our Lanai spills onto the well maintained garden area making our views unforgettable. Easy access to the beaches and pool -

We have enhanced views with sliding glass doors in both the Living Room and Main Bedroom.

This popular and well-maintained private complex is nestled between the best south Maui beaches Kamaole I and II with exceptional swimming, snorkeling and turtle watching outside your door.

Our 2 BR condo has been completely renovated with comfortable furnishings and authentic Hawaiian hospitality. New LCD TV's in the Living Room (40 inch; Smart/Apple TV), Primary Bedroom (32 inch; w/Apple TV) and Second Bedroom (27 inch; w/Apple TV).

The Primary Bedroom includes a King-Size bed with 100% cotton sheets, a large walk-in closet, and OCEANFRONT.

Our Second Bedroom includes 2 Twin Beds (convertible to King) with 100% cotton sheets, double door closet.

Our OCEANFRONT ground floor Lanai flows out onto a lush grass and garden area only a few steps to the beaches and freshwater pool. Also unobstructed views of Molokini Crater and the West Maui Mountains.

The desirable ground floor unit is perfect for all ages and any family. The Royal Mauian is one of the most well-loved condominium complexes in South Kihei. Walking distance to many specialty shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Minutes from WAILEA shops, fine dining and more beautiful beaches.

The rooftop (completely refurbished in 2022) is unique. The prep kitchen and BBQ also make a perfect gathering place for meals and enjoying sunsets with views of Haleakalā

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HAVE A/C.
Our building is designed to allow ocean front trade winds to naturally cool our condo. We have ceiling fans in each room to keep air flow comfortable year-round. If you absolutely cannot imagine living without A/C, our Ohana experience may not be for you.

Check-in time is 4:00 pm/Check-out time is 11:00 am. There is no assigned parking. One car space per condo.

Please take out kitchen trash and recycling items.

Only if time allows, please wash and dry all used beach towels. Mahalo and we wish you good travels home.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Please do not move furniture from original location. If you would like Twin Beds in Garden Guest Bedroom converted to a King, please let us know.

Help manage beach sand and wind by using the available broom and Dyson vacuum as needed. Please rinse off your feet when returning from the beach

Royal Mauian Property Rules do not allow balls, lawn games, frisbees in any common area. The beach + Kamaole I Park is perfect for sport activities.

We had another great stay at this ground level unit in Kihei. The interior is beautiful with a great layout and easy access to the pool and ocean. The location can't be beat! Mahalo.

We loved staying in a ground floor unit. It made the space feel larger and was easier to “refresh” a drink and watch the sunset. The lack of air conditioning was more than we bargained for however. We shared the condo with another couple, and we used the smaller bedroom and second bathroom. Super awkward as the doors are louvre, and open directly into the living area. Not at all sound proof, so it didn’t have a sense of privacy. There weren’t beach chairs or a cooler, so we had to purchase and leave those. Cost was the same as to rent them. Next time we’ll look for another unit with AC and different set up.

A Stay to Remember

We’ve stayed on Maui multiple times and specifically Kihei, but this is the best we’ve ever experienced. The view, the lovely ocean breeze, but there is a vibe that cannot be described with words. Something that we couldn’t quite put our finger on, it felt like a home away from home. We found “our place” on Maui. We will definitely be back!

Well, the unit was nice but no A/C turned out to be a big problem…90 degrees every day and the wind stops at sunset. Ceiling fans rotate about 2 mph so they provide little help. Had to sleep with screen doors open in a neighborhood that had some seedy elements. One night there was a large police presence and a guy screaming on the sidewalk having some drug or psychiatric episode. Homeless sometimes camping next to north side of the property., as well.We asked that the dead bolt be fixed on our sliding glass door…never happened. Although, They did replace a broken coffee grinder promptly (go figure). The unit has a very nice view and the area has nice restaurants, stores ,etc within walking distance. Glad we used it more as a base camp than a resort. Wailea it is not.Also, saw many turtles off the rocky shoreline and the roof top view was spectacular.

We love "our Maui home". We are so grateful to the owners as they are excellent in taking care of our every need. We had a couple tiny hickups and IMMEDIATELY the owners and on island property manager did everything possible to rectify the situation. We love the unit and the location is fantastic. Love the location, between Kamole I and Kamaole II beaches. Great snorkeling for beginners, conveniently across the street from shops and eats and rentals, perfect for morning walks and sunsets on the lanai. The best!

The location of this condo is perfect. It is with a short walking distance to beaches, convenience stores, liquor stores and restaurants. The grounds are very well maintained with a perfect ocean view.

Our Maui Home

This location is perfect for our friends and us. The building is adjacent to 2 beaches, shopping, and restaurants. We really enjoy the BBQ area on the roof and the well maintained pool and lawn right outside the unit.

Great stay!

Everything is as listed and reviewed. Turtles eating of the rocks 20 steps in front of the suite at every high tide. Great oceanfront stay with the energy of Kihei all around.

Nice stay!

Had a wonderful trip. First floor unit right on the water. Beautiful beaches to either side of the condo. Trade winds in the afternoons are lovely with all doors and windows open. Great location with access to everything. Would stay here again!

Great condo in a great location

We had a great stay at the condo. The location is the best we have had in the area and we’ve stayed at several other locations through the years. The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed. We will definitely try to stay here for future trips. The location is walking distance to all sorts of spots for shopping/food/drinks and right between two great beaches. Gretchen was very great to work with

Excellent Unit and location

Our unit on the ground floor was the best unit we have stayed at in the Royal Mauian. We have been 8 times so far and this unit had all that we needed including abundant towels and beach towels. The unit was beautiful and being able to walk out directly from the patio was so nice!

Another great stay!

This is our third year renting this unit and we absolutely love it. Great location, amenities, lovely decor, ground floor and close to the beach. My only recommendation for families coming from the Bay Area who are use to cool nights; Purchase an extra fan (we left one there) and have your kids sleep in very light pj's or just pj bottoms - works like a charm! This condo and property could not be more perfect for families especially with children!

Graduation Trip with Grandson

We booked this at the last minute due to the Maui fire. Loved the whole condo - remodeled, great first floor location, great views right from the condo and patio. No A/C, but didn’t need A/C - fans kept the unit cool day and night. Checkin was easy - with Gretchen and at the site. Lot of restaurants in the area and great beaches ! All in all - fantastic - 5 out of 5 - would definitively stay again!

Perfect Place in Paradise

We loved our stay! Sandwiched between two beautiful beaches, we spent more time in the sand this trip than any other Hawaiian vacation. The condo is exactly as advertised and the grounds are very well attended to, especially the pool which is meticulously cleaned every morning. We could walk to multiple restaurants and with ABC and Da Kine shave ice just across the street, it was so convenient. Watching the turtles at the shore and the beautiful sunsets right from the lania was the icing on the cake. We would love to return to this very spot.

Prime location and, gorgeous view

Prime location with lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The view and proximity to the beach were great. The breeze from the beach shore was nice during the mid afternoon but when you close the back door, it was slightly warm inside. However, Maui condo was quick with providing us additional fans and very helpful with any questions we had. We spent more time out on the lanai, pool or beach most of the time and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The Best Condo Ever

We had an amazing vacation on Maui and feel lucky to have been able to spend it in this great condo. After many stays in this complex, the ground floor location with ocean and sunset views was the best we have experienced yet. The condo was very well equipped with comfortable beds, furniture, kitchen equipment and nicely accented with local art. The only thing that could have made it better was the provision of beach chairs.

Hawaiin vacation

Great communication throughout our stay , they emailed us the first morning because their was a water leak they needed to fix and they compensated us well for the disruption without me asking for it . Trish was very helpful ! We loved the ground floor and easy access for your morning walk on the beach. We loved the Hawaiian feeling this condo created ! We will be back !

GREAT Location!!!

The internet was painfully slow and there were some tiny ants but nothing too scary. However, being able to step out and be right at the ocean was well worth the slight inconveniences. The property manager was awesome in helping us get the internet faster. We would definitely come back and stay here!

Why they chose this property

We are at the best beaches in Maui. Kama'ole Park is divided into three distinct beach areas. Kama'ole I has the largest and loveliest beach of the three with fine white sand and great swimming conditions. There's even a grassy area at the south end for picnics and playing. Kama'ole II is located a little further south and the beach is a little smaller but has also has good swimming. Kama'ole III is very popular with the locals. The waves here are more consistent making it a great place for boogie boarding and paddle boards. The sandy beach is small but it has a large grassy area, perfect for kite flying, picnics, and relaxing.

What makes this property unique

World class shopping is minutes away at The Shops at Wailea. There is a wide selection of shops and restaurants available. Tommy Bahamas is a favorite place to hang out with local music nightly. Ask for the lunch menu for dinner time – the Steak salad is a must.

You will also enjoy golfing; the Maui Ocean is seen from most holes on the courses in Wailea.

Enjoy long walks along the beach and pathways connecting each beach - we actually walk from Royal Mauian to the Grand Wailea and back in just over one hour.

Enjoy paddle boarding - if you have not yet tried this you MUST.

Snorkeling/Scuba boats and tours launch 1/2 mile away with 2
trips daily to Molokini Underwater Crater, but you may also rent equipment
across the street and encounter wide varieties of sea-life near the volcanic
granite seawall a few steps from our door.

Yoga is 2 times a week at the lawn next door. Check with the front desk for a schedule.
