Beautiful Property in a great location

We loved staying at Le Marais. The property is simple but has everything that you need and the outside area is perfect, especially the pool which we spent most of our time by as the weather was so hot! The area has so much to offer, you could visit something every day if you wanted to but we were happy to stay at Nathalie’s beautiful house and completely relax.

Beautiful location and beautiful looking property. Off the beaten track so no one disturbing your holiday. Having its own pool was a real plus point for us. However going on holiday with mid-twenty year olds and there being no Wi-Fi was a real struggle. The rustic interior was very in keeping with the building but some of the furniture has seen better days and very was unstable. Overall we had a great holiday.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Nathalie! Les enfants se sont beaucoup amusés à pêcher les écrevisses. La piscine est très agréable et bienvenue après une journée de balade. Le gîte est grand et bien équipé. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour.

Séjour reposant dans un cadre magnifique

Très belle maison confortable.,piscine bien entretenue , bel espace naturel. La propriétaire est très accueillante et à l’écoute. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille au calme et fait de belles visites en Touraine. Ravis .

We loved our stay! The property is gorgeous and very secluded. There is a lake, places for walking, and the house itself is big and so nicely renovated. Superb!

Prachtige vierkantshoeve. Heel mooi gelegen, de vijver, de velden, het bos, zalig rustig. Charmante en vriendelijke gastvrouw. Wij logeerden er met 6 personen. Heel gezellig logement. Mooi zwembad en gemakkelijke ligzetels. Het zwembad is echt een pluspunt. Door het prachtige weer hebben we er optimaal gebruik van kunnen maken. Nathalie de gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben er fantastisch mooie dagen doorgebracht. Amboise, Chinon en Saumur bezocht. Heerlijk gegeten in restaurant Le Cardinal in Richelieu. Top propriété! Très beau, grand, tout confort. À recommander sans faute. Tout s’est bien déroulé. Seule petit hic, l’arrivée de l’ébéniste à 7.30h du matin, qui commence à scier ces planches dans la cour. Pas génial le réveil 😏

Très belle propriété avec un vaste terrain comprenant bois et étang où tous ont apprécié le contact de la nature (renards, lapins, chevreuils, carpes...) mais aussi la piscine bien entretenue. Parfait pour 6 personnes mais nous étions 8 dont un seul enfant de 12 ans ! Heureusement le beau temps nous a permis de vivre dehors... La décoration est de bon goût ainsi que la vaisselle. Confort sommaire cependant : peu de place de rangement, une petite cafetière italienne, casseroles non adaptée à une cuisinière électrique, mini-lave-vaisselle, pas de plan de travail... Fauteuils peu confortables... Mais nous y avons vécu d'excellentes vacances en famille et apprécié la région.

Perfect in every way

I don't know how much to give away.. If you are looking for a quiet, non-touristy, French village, calm, relaxing, safe and soul-refreshing break then try this. From the moment we drove down the dirt track and through the large gated entrance we knew we had found a gem. The wifi, phone and 3g signals are terrible - even better. The unheated pool is 'fresh' - wonderful. This is one of those places that make it difficult to return home...

Nous avons passé un très bon moment au calme dans cette maison avec nos enfants et nos bébés. Nous avons découvert la piscine toute neuve. Les enfants étaient émerveillés par les canards, les grenouilles et la récolte du blé.

Très belle demeure restaurée avec beaucoup de goût.

Notre séjour fut parfait, entre repos dans cette belle maison et découverte des richesses patrimoniales de la région. La piscine a été très appréciée compte tenu de la chaleur et pour dégourdir les jambes des plus jeunes après les multiples visites de châteaux. Nos hôtes ont été à la fois disponibles et discrets, rendant nos vacances des plus agréables.

Séjour au calme dans une magnifique demeure, décorée avec beaucoup de charme. Les amoureux des paysages et monuments historiques apprécieront. Les geeks devront s'abstenir... Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour avec nos enfants.
