Living at Casa Greco means having privacy and independence in a large house with all the necessary spaces and fittings for living comfortably, as if it was your own house. It is the ideal choice for a holiday with family or a small group of friends. The house is equipped in a fresh style mixed with a contemporary touch, and with lots of love for the past. It even has furnishings and objects from back in the days, it has a sleeping area with three large double bedrooms, of which one has a balcony. There are two brand-new bathrooms with a walk-in shower, as well as a spacious living area consisting of a large lobby with a reading area and a wide living/dining room. The welcoming kitchen/dining is equipped with all the appliances and accessories, the laundry/bathroom features a washing machine. The house is equipped with internet, autonomous heating, air-conditioning in the bedrooms, linen, towels, dinnerware and any other necessary accessory. The house can accommodate up to 6 adults, plus a toddler in a cradle. The apartment is rented as a whole and exclusively to one customer, in order to make it as private as possible. The way in which we rent the house, even for short periods, is via the transitional contract for tourists with an "all inclusive" rate.

Casa Greco offers a typical and autonomous apartment accommodation, providing all the supplies and accessories that you will need for living comfortably and carrying out independently the various house activities like managing and tidying up the accommodation. Casa Greco offers a beautiful, large, and recently renovated roof terrace: there, you can spend your time outdoors enjoying the sunshine during the morning or the evening breeze, eat breakfast, have lunch and dinner.

This is my second visit to Lecce and my subsequent return to Casa Greco. It did not disappoint. Paola and Maurizio once again welcomed us so warmly and the apartment was everything I remembered! The location couldn’t be better and the apartment offered all the amenities one could wish for. It truly felt like “home” every evening on our return after a long day exploring spectacular Puglia. Large, clean, and close to everything

We absolutely adored our stay at Casa Greco and can't recommend it enough. Just steps away from the historic city centre, it's a perfect location for a family. The rooftop patio is magical in the evening and the very large and immaculately clean apartment is well appointed with everything you need for your stay. Our most sincere thanks to Paola and Maurizio, who were the perfect hosts and couldn't have made it easier or more enjoyable for us. We hope to be back soon!

Excellent Location, Great Hosts, Comfortable Apartment

The apartment is ideally situated adjacent to the old historical part of the city, and is quite roomy with an entrance way, three bedrooms, dining room, reading room/office, and a full kitchen, along with a large open rooftop to enjoy outside dining or just relaxing. What makes the apartment even better is the warmth and attentiveness of Paolo and Maurizio, the hosts. They were quickly responsive to very communication from the initial booking to the end of our stay. Lecce is a wonderful city, and if/when we return, this is the first apartment I would check out.

excellent stay

lovely apartment right outside the old town. In 2 minutes, you're in the heart of old Lecce which is so beautiful. the apartment is very big. we loved the terrace above the apartment and used it every early evening to have a drink or two before heading out to dinner. The washing machine was great too. there is free street parking a couple of blocks away or paid parking right down the street. truly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice and close to center

A very large, clean and well decorated apartment. It suited us very nicely. We would highly recommend this apartment for your visit to Lecce and it's surrounding towns. And it was so very close to Old Town; just a few steps and you are steeped in the history of this fabulous town. It was the greatest of pleasure to explore the avenues and old alleyways of old Lecce. The hostess and her daughter were very responsive and personally showed us around the apartment. We had everything we needed for our stay.

Paola and Maurizio's Casa Greco apartment was a wonderful place to stay in Lecco, so convenient to the city's historic center. Their apartment was spacious, super clean and comfortable. Great location with terrific patio

This is a fantastic place with one significant downfall. In the lot right outside the bedroom windows is a very popular food truck that is open all night long. The appartment windows did not keep out the noise. If your a night owl or use to a loud nights sleep the appartment is great. The roof top patio is outstanding the beds were comfortable and owners were very nice.

Spacious and comfy apartment

Maurizio and Paola could not have been more gracious hosts. They took care of many details for us and were always prompt to answer when we had questions. Their apartment is spacious and perfect for a family or, as we were, three single women. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom! The location is ideal. It is right near one of the entrances to the historic center of Lecce.We took three separate day trips outside of Leche to very interesting areas, which makes Lecce- a good jumping off point to explore Puglia.

Maurizio was really friendly he made us feel very welcome. The flat was perfect for our stay in beautiful Lecce - a great location . It has the charm of a vintage flat and the comfort of a modern flat. Really a lovely kitchen, beautiful bathrooms and the beedrooms. It is full of day light and the location is perfect, attached to the walls of the old historical center, at walk distance to all historical sites. For people interested in visiting Lecce and the beautiful region of Salento, the flat is highly recommended. we also take the opportunity to sent to Maurizio and Paola our best regards.

Lecce Vacation

The apartment was spotless, lots of room to spread out and everything worked. It is a downtown location so noise was an issue due to traffic, a nearby food truck and 4 am garbage pickup. Our biggest challenge was parking. There was none and we were parking in a lot 15 minutes away. If you are coming by car be sure you are clear of the parking options as the owner takes no responsibility.

We sent you by VRBO, before your arrival, exactly on 14th August, every detailed information and responsable warning about parking, and if you had read that, instead of just being so distracted, probably you wouldn't have written so a stupid review! We gave you a lot of help for parking, even picking you up with or car, without receiving any thanks or appreciation from you ! You are really a bad person! You also were informed that during your stay the Town was extremely crowded and busy all the night because on 24, 25 and 26 August all the Town was in Holiday for the big Fest of Sant'Oronzo, the protector of Lecce !

An excellent well located apartment

This is a very comfortable, well-equipped apartment located very close to one of the gates into the Old Town of Lecce. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within easy walking distance. There is also a Conrad supermarket less than a kilometre from the apartment. The only minor irritant is the presence across the road from the apartment of a mobile fast food van which can be quite noisy in the late evening and early evening. But it didn’t really disturb us much. The Old Town of Lecce is impressive with plenty of interesting sights and buildings but we also used it as a base to visit by rail a number of nearby towns including, Monopoli, Brindisi, Taranto and Gallipoli - all worth a visit. Altogether a very enjoyable holiday in an excellent apartment

My name is Paola Greco, I live at Lecce since I was born. I am married to Maurizio since 23 years and I have two daughters (22 and 18 years old). I teach business economics. Casa Greco is a large and beautiful house that belonged to my family: a stately house from the 1930s, with a typical style of the period: very spacious and bright, with large bedrooms and spaces, very airy, and well furnished. Here, you can spend a pleasing stay while discovering Lecce and the Salento. Casa Greco offers, for a small daily extra charge, its beautiful, large and appealing roof terrace: ideal for enjoying the beautiful season, sunbathing during the day and feeling the breeze in the evening, or having breakfast, lunch, or dinner al-fresco.

Why they chose this property

My husband Maurizio and I decided to rent Casa Greco mainly out of passion. We love the idea of welcoming travellers from all over the world who decided to come to our land for visiting Lecce and Salento. We love to manage the house directly, we offer a quality service, take care of all the details, and have a special relationship with our guests. Making them happy about choosing our house, contributing to showing them the beauties of our land, our traditions, and our welcoming culture. We like to make contact and get to know them. In short, this business to us is a bit like travelling the world while staying at home. It makes us feel, in our small area, like the ambassadors of Lecce and the Salento. In 2012 we started to rent our first holiday home in Lecce, Le Armelline (listing 581108 on Homelidays) and we had an amazing success with many guests from all over the world: they were happy and satisfied. This success has encouraged us to extend our small business, and that's when we decided to renovate Casa Greco and arrange it as a holiday home, while making sure that its original architecture and vintage atmosphere remained intact, and keeping it focussed on a very peaceful, relaxed, cosy, and stylish lifestyle, like it once was.

What makes this property unique

The house is completely independent and very large. It has three spacious bedrooms, a large dining/sitting room, a beautiful kitchen and 3 bathrooms. It has been recently renovated, with new wirings and bathrooms, and it has all the modern commodities (internet TV, air-conditioning, and much more). Starting from spring 2016, and for a small daily extra charge, Casa Greco offers a splendid, recently renovated roof terrace: there, you can spend your time outdoors enjoying the sunshine during the morning or the evening breeze, have breakfast, have lunch, dinner, and even organize a barbecue.
