Lovely apartment in St Christina

Cosy apartment near restaurants and ski bus stop. Great place to stay for skiing Val Gardena. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Can highly recommend this apartment for families.

Perfect home base for Val Gardena

Beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable apartment situated creekside in the village of Santa Christina. Further from the crowds in Ortisei, but still plenty accessible. Walking distance to Col Raiser and Monte Pana lifts with tons of hiking and huts. Walking distance to two grocery stores and a bakery. Well appointed kitchen, updated bathrooms, comfortable beds and pillows. Slept with the windows open to the sound of the rushing creek. Onsite parking was convenient and communication was great! Would highly recommend and stay again if we’re lucky enough to return to the Dolomites.

Ski trip

Unit slept 6 of us with room to spare. Location was perfect. A short walk (7 minutes) to the main gondola. That gondola gained us access to multiple locations throughout Dolomites. Plenty of restaurants within a short walkable distance. Host was extremely responsive. If I ever return I would hope to be able to rent this unit again.

We are very happy with our holiday in val gardena. The accommodation was great. Centrally located in the village. Everything worked perfectly and it was easy to get in touch with the landlord.

Maria was our host and made the checkin process easy. The apartment was fantastic and well-positioned for all hiking in the area with easy access to gondolas and chairlifts. The apartment was very quiet, had everything necessary for cooking and the beds were comfortable, the wi-fi was fast and it was extremely easy to get up and down the valley (different towns) via bus or even walking. Add to that a deck overlooking a mountain stream flowing through town and this place was perfect. Although we had just two questions for Maria during our stay that were not related to the apartment, she answered quickly and gave the information we needed. Not joking, this vacation in the heart of the dolomites was fantastic and the wonderful apartment was a huge part of it. Highly recommended!! Grazie mille Maria!

We had a great experience at this VRBO. It was clean, large and comfortable. The location was ideal - about 50-100 meters from a grocery store and bus stop. Parking also worked out well - especially as we had a rather large 9 passenger van that was not super easy to maneuver in tight spots. The location for visiting other towns and hikes was also optimal. Finally, the owners were also super responsive - for example, when we had a question about how to use the oven they responded in about 15 minutes. We had a wonderful time there and highly recommend it.

Lovely well furnished apartment

This is a lovely three bedroom apartment in St. Christina in the Dolomites. There is a master with a separate bathroom with a jacuzzi tub which is very nice. Another room has 4 bunk beds and a third small room has two bunk beds so it could actually sleep 8. The living area is spacious and the kitchen is well stocked and the apartment is well appointed. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure is great. There is a room for skis and boots at the entry way to the building. The owner is very receptive and responsive.We were there for a ski vacation - the gondola is within a short walking distance with access to many ski areas but a cautionary word is that the walk back to the apartment from the gondola is up a fairly steep hill. We rented our skis from SkiArmin - the staff there was great- and they allowed us to keep our skis and boots there so as not to have to carry them up the hill. One work of caution: this apartment is not in Selva although that is the address; it is in St. Christina which does not have much of a town. There is no night life and few restaurants. It is quiet. There is one apres ski bar at the bottom of the gondola which is very busy but closes at 7. If you want more of an active environment with stores and bars, I would recommend staying farther up the valley in Selva or Alta Badia.

Het appartement is ons zeer goed bevallen. We waren met 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen en dat was heel goed te doen. De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep snel en soepel. Fijn dat er iemand was om ons wegwijs te maken bij aankomst.Het appartement ligt op loopafstand van de Saslonglift.

Appartamento veramente stupendo e attrezzato di ogni confort. L'unico neo è stato il parcheggio della seconda auto essendoci un solo posto riservato. Comunque bellissima vacanza, la Val Gardena è il top per chi ama la montagna.

Appartamento ben organizzato negli spazi, dotato di tutto il necessario. Come nelle foto, davvero bello e curato. Spacious and comfortable appartment at good location

The appartment can contain 8 people at max, we rented it with 5. It was clean, very spacious, had all the comfort an luxury and a nice and cosy athmosphere. Reception and contact during the week was nice and easy. Location is very convenient near the center of St. Cristina, and close to the Saslong lift.

Why they chose this property

The apartment is located in the village of Santa Cristina in Val Gardena. The wonderful mountains of the Valley, at the heart of the Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage Site, are a favorite destination for beautiful summer excursions. The accommodation is located a short distance from the famous world cup ski slope Ciampinoi-Saslong and also close to the Seceda slopes in the Puez – Odle natural park. The slopes are connected to the largest European ski carousel of 1,200 Km perfectly prepared downhill slopes and 1.177 km of crosscountry runs. In Santa Cristina there are also new slopes for crosscountry and a short distance the famous crosscountry slopes of the Alpe di Siusi.
