Villa Sissi and her swimming pool

Immersed in the greenery of the Lucca plain, Villa Sissi is ideal for an original and relaxing holiday. The strategic position offers the possibility of reaching cities of art such as Lucca in just 10 minutes, Pisa, Viareggio and Versilia in 20 minutes, Florence in 50 minutes.
The house is on two floors for a surface area of ​​210 square metres.
On the ground floor there is the entrance, 2 large living rooms, a dining room and a kitchen with fireplace.
Upstairs we find 4 bedrooms, 2 of which with terrace and 2 bathrooms with shower.
Outside, a large garden furnished with tables and chairs allows you to enjoy the mild climate of Tuscany starting in spring. The Villa also has a private playground where you can play football, basketball, volleyball and swing on the swings. In the garden there is an in-ground swimming pool open from 1 May to 30 October.

The gardens can be used for events and there is also a large living room in the house which can be used for parties on request.
The Villa is equipped with television, washing machine, dishwasher and internet connection.
Bus service is available in the surrounding area.

Superb villa

Great host who responded very quickly and sorted a couple of minor issues for us. Extremely spacious house and garden. Beautiful clean pool. Although payment for the electricity is extra it was quite reasonable.

holiday in a dream house!

we felt very comfortable in the beautiful villa. The four bedrooms are a good size. We really liked the great garden with the nice pool, volleyball net, basketball hoop, soccer goal and swings. Lucca, Pisa and the beach are easy to reach. the landlords are very nice and have all wishes fulfilled immediately. we can definitely imagine spending our vacation in this great villa again.

Beatiful journey nearby Lucca

Beautiful house with a huge garden to enjoy, the kids loved the possibility to play soccer, the adults to enjoy a glas of wine in the garden. The house is large, well equiped and not to fare to go to the beach (25 min) and Lucca (15 min to the center of Lucca). Very much recommended for families. ok… somebody has to watch the stairs when you travel with small kids like we do.

Villa sissi

We had a lovely stay and Andreas was extremely helpful. The property was extremely clean and a great space for the children to play outside! We were however charged extra for the use of the travel cot, this was not disclosed in the description of the property. The property is in a great location and we found it easily using the address given. We do wish we knew more about the public transport nearby as we ended up using taxis which were not the most reliable. We didn’t realise there was a bus stop nearby until our last day. Overall a lovely stay and would stay again.

Exceeded our expectations

Villa Sissi exceeded our expectations.The pictures at vrbo.com describes Villa Sissi very well. Great place, fantastic pool, large parts of the house seem newly renovated. Practical with two bathrooms if you are a large family or a large group. We were 7 adults and two children (almost 1 year old and almost 3 years old respectively). The kitchen was spacious and the whole family could sit around the table in the kitchen or in the adjoining lounge if we didn't want to sit outside. But also nice to sit in the shade in the pavilion by the pool. The house met all the needs of our large family. We had the option to swim in the pool, play volleyball or play soccer if we wanted to. There is a swing for the youngest. If you want to have a barbeque, it goes well on the back of the house. Villa Sissi is surrounded by other houses, although they are not many. It is centrally located regardless of whether we are talking locally or regionally. About 10 minutes by car to the nearest large grocery store (Coop and Lidl). It is about a 20-minute drive to the beautiful central capital of Lucca. Worth a visit for shopping and dining. Or just look at the sights. If you want to visit vineyards, they are within a 10-15 minute drive. Car to Pisa (tower) takes about 25 minutes. Florence around 60 minutes away. Longer car journeys often mean choosing roads with tolls, even if there are alternative routes. The best of all is the host's hospitality. Daniele and his family realy was a terrific host.

Quiet location near Lucca

We were 8 adult people and stayed for 2 weeks. The family who rent out the house was very pleasant and helpful. The 4 bedrooms were very large, with lots of storage space and cupboards and two well-equipped bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped too. Beside the house you may find a large dining table with a the charcoal grill, which we used more or less daily. The landscape on which the house is located is also very generously proportioned and perfect equipped with a swimming pool 8mx 4m, a basketball field, a volleyball net and a badminton area. There was even enough parking space available for our 3 cars. We have been at the beach always South of Viareggio at Marina di Vecciano. It took 35 minutes to reach the beach due to the narrow and winding roads. The beach was huge ,wide and free of charge and with adequate parking lots . (parking fee: 5 € from 10:30 -17:00) It is not recommended to visit the beach on Sundays due to the crowded zone. The beach itself is flat sloped and ideal for children. P.o.I. : Lucca: 15 min, Pisa: 30 min, Florence: 1 hour, Viareggio: 30 min. What you should know: WLAN fee: 3 day €., but the signal is good. Mobile signal is rather poor. You need to walk 10 m away from the house to get a better signal. Fee for water, electricity and gas: in average approx. 7 € / person / week. Supermarket-Shopping in Lucca : Coop, Lidl or Carrefour: Only 6 km , but it takes approx. 10-15 min one way. In any case, we definitely suggest this property, we had a great time and would certainly go again ... many thanks to Andrea and Luisella

Tolles Haus 🏠

Wir waren super zufrieden. Alles sauber, tolle Vermieter. Der Pool ist der absolute Traum. Das Haus liegt perfekt. Zum Strand sind sind es 25 Minuten, nach Lucca 15 Minuten und Pisa ist in 25 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Haus ist in ruhiger Lage, für uns war das aber kein Problem. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch schnell zu erreichen.

CAPODANNO 2024

Consiglio molto questa villetta per farci capodanno, perchè c'è la possibilità di mettere la musica e di stare belli larghi. Il proprietario ci ha comunicato che la stanza che abbiamo usato per l'evento è insonorizzata (è un soggiorno grande all'interno della casa). C'è la possibilità anche di far dormire dentro una o due persone perchè c'è un divano e una poltrona letto.

Ideal für große Familien

Es handelt sich um ein sehr großzügiges Anwesen mit viel Möglichkeiten des Spielens und Erholens. Die Räume sind groß und sehr sauber. Bei der Villa ist es sehr ruhig und sie ist gut gelegen in der Nähe von Lucca. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Verständigung in Englisch klappt hervorragend. Wir haben die eine Oktober-Woche trotz des Regenwetters sehr genossen und viel unternehmen können. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Objekt.

Tolle Unterkunft, aber Achtung: Aufstellpool!

Wir hatten 1 wunderschöne Woche in dem schönen Haus. Der Garten ist wunderbar weitläufig und bietet Platz für viele Spiele. Auch findet jeder eine ruhige Ecke auch wenn man eine größere Gruppe ist. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Leider gibt es nur eine richtige Dusche, die zweite ist nur eine Wanne mit Brause, ohne Duschvorhang/-wand (hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört). Ich geben 1 Punkt Abzug, da in der Anzeige ein falsches Bild vom Pool drin ist, das uns in die Irre führte. Das war etwas enttäuschend. Die Kinder störte es nicht, dass es nur ein Aufstellpool war.

SWIMMING POOL UNDERGROUND SINCE 2024 We will offer our guests an inground swimming pool from 2024, in fact we have inserted a photo to show the new swimming pool, but we have also written that it will be available from next year. The swimming pool for the year 2023 is above ground as can be clearly seen in the photos and as explained in the description. I am very sorry that you have not looked at the photos. Furthermore, it should be emphasized that when you made the reservation in December, the photo for the new swimming pool was not there but there were only photos of the swimming pool that we offer for the year 2023. I would like to add that you have been very respectful guests external environments and the house, even your children have been very polite, despite the fact that you had made a reservation for 10 people and then 13 of you arrived without informing us.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und fanden das Ferienhaus ganz schön. Trotzdem haben wir kleinere Mängel. Die Toilettenbrille im Bad ist sehr locker und die Toilette ist direkt an der Waschmaschine und somit hat man kaum Platz zum sitzen. Es gibt aber noch ein zweites Bad. Es gibt sehr viele Mücken. Leider ist nur in der Wohnküche Mückenschutz an den Fenstern angebracht und im Schlafzimmer nicht.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in der Villa Sissi. Der Garten und das Haus waren Traumhaft. Die Gastgeber waren sehr Hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar falls Fragen aufkammen. Für uns war es ein rundum perfekter Urlaub. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte mal dort.

Wunderbare FAmilienzusammenkunft

Der Aufenthalt mit der ganzen Familie - Mitglieder im Alter zwischen knapp 2 und 83 Jahren - gestaltete sich sehr positiv. Die Schlafzimmer waren sehr groß und hatten genug Stauraum, die Betten bequem. Fürs Kochen war in der Küche alles vorhanden. Da wir den großen Wohnraum (für Feiern) nicht benutzten, war der Essraum ein wenig beengt - aber wir sind zusammen gerückt :-) Der Außenbereich ist besonders groß und bietet allen viel Bewegungsspielraum, den wir als spielfreudige Familie weitlich ausgenutzt haben. Bei warmem Wetter ist Essen draußen herrlich, auch ein Außengrill ist vorhanden. Für Menschen mit Bewegungseinschränkungen ist das Haus nicht ganz so günstig, z.B. gibt es keine Toilette im EG. Ansonsten ein rundum prima Platz für eine Familienzusammenkunft.

Geräumiges Haus in ruhiger Lage

Uns hat es in der Villa Sissi gut gefallen. Ruhig Lage. Hatten Probleme, es auf Anhieb zu finden ;) Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Haus war warm, als wir ankamen (Ende März). Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, alles war sauber, Betten bezogen. Kleines Manko: Es gibt nur ein 3er-Sofa. Für ein Haus, das 11 Personen Platz bieten kann, meiner Meinung nach zu wenig. Und die Stühle sind nicht die bequemsten ;) Ansonsten alles tippi toppi. Können wir empfehlen. Danke!
