(B112) Studio Condominiums

This room has a queen size bed and a queen size sofa bed with memory foam mattress. We do not recommend sofa beds for adults. Complete with a kitchenette with stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster the room has everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. Enjoy a BBQ on the deck with your own electric grill.





Do you have internet access at any of your home properties? Yes but very limited! Only a few of our home properties have recently been able to receive Internet access. Due to our remote location, and the fact that most of our properties are surrounded by tall Yosemite pine and cedar trees, it makes it almost impossible to receive clear satellite signals, cable isn't available yet in our community. The system we currently have is a satellite based Internet system, and is vulnerable to adverse weather conditions, therefore we cannot guarantee Internet connectivity during your stay.

Property gas fireplace quit working next to last day recieved message there would be scheduled power outage following morning electric heater provided just a little extra stress wondering if the power was going out leaving us without heat source ( snow up over picnic benches for cold reference)

Great location

This proved to be a great place for us and our 2 kids to stay. A short drive from the valley floor and virtually right across the street from the road to Glacier Point, it's a good base from which to see the highlights of Yosemite. The condo itself is basic but comfortable. The kitchen and dining area are nice for preparing and enjoying meals. I was not expecting TV service here, but it has a full range of satellite channels. We enjoyed our time here and would come again.

That unit pictured online when we rented the condo, was not the unit that we were actually rented. The photo showed a loft. There was no loft. Read carefully. The description did say studio, but we assumed since a loft was pictured there would actually be a loft. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. major drawback is that the walls are quite thin. We could even hear an iPhone alarm going off in the next room, as well as guests in hallway and rooms above us.

Deceptive advertising of actual unit layout.

The floor plan shown on the website and in the rental reservation was not what we actually had. The plan showed a two tier layout with a loft. We however had a one room unit with a bed and a sofa sleeper side by side. Dissapointed with the "deception" used in the marketing. Surely there is a price difference between the loft unit pictures and the one room unit we were actually assigned and I would hope for an appropriate refund. The room we had was directly adjacent to the ice maker and the building entry so noise was at a level not conducive to vacation whatsoever. Hot tub shown as part of unit. Again deceptive advertising.

Disappointing, but close to park

I originally booked this condo (unit B112) here on VRBO. It was listed NOT accurate at the time of booking. It was described as a loft style unit and had many lovely pictures of the unit. Since there were 3 adults staying here the loft style unit was preferred for space. I went to the management property website and wanted to show my family the condo is when I saw different pictures than what was on VRBO. I called the office and apparently the wrong pictures and description were uploaded to that page and the condo I booked and paid for was a studio condo. "Sorry, nothing we can do for you" is all I got from the company and everything else in the area was booked. So we made the best of it and sucked it up. This condo was so small! There was a bed, sofa bed, table and kitchenette all in this tiny space. The refrigerator was in a closet, no dressers only 2 very small night stands. Nowhere to put luggage or unpack. We had to stack our luggage on top of each other on the table just so we could sleep. Mattress on sofa bed was thin and worn out, very uncomfortable. Don't really plan on cooking here either, the kitchen area is very tiny, no counters to work on and with no where to put luggage everything was on table. Needless to say we were very unhappy with these arrangements and the response from YSW management once we discovered the mix-up. Not a discount or offered any other options, except we were told we could rent a house for 3X the price I was already paying... The good stuff: The unit was clean (except the coffeemaker, it was disgusting how dirty it was), they have strictly enforced quiet hours in evening and it was 15 minutes to Yosemite Valley.

Good place to stay to enjoy Yosemite

The listing was accurate , the property clean and well-maintained. We were fortunate that the weather was wonderful so the splendours of the Yosemite Valley were a joy and an inspiration. We three were comfortable, and we could have been five as the property is spacious. I would return.
