Charming villa in the green of the Apulian countryside surrounded by centuries-old olive trees. The villa is very close to the village and sea. Recommended for those who want to spend their moments of relaxation between the Apulian countryside and the sea of ​​Polignano a Mare. The house consists of a kitchen furnished and equipped with all necessary kitchenware and appliances, with two bedrooms and a comfortable bathroom. The best week

We had the best week at Irenes place. We could not have been made more welcome from Irene and her husband. Every day she left us little gifts such as home grown fruit and vegetable. The apartment was lovely and the swimming pool was the best I have ever used. Irene cleaned it everyday. I can not say enough good things about our stay.

Fantastic Relaxing Pamper

Beautiful Villa owned by the lovely Irene. Superb First floor apartment, with AC and huge private veranda with a view of the pool and Sea. The Pool is out of this world and like no other private pool, that we have ever experienced. The hospitality was second to none. Condiments, coffee, essential basics and Wine were waiting for us along with astonishing local hand picked Figs, Water melon and Grapes, delivered to our Stairway every day!!! The apartment was fully furnished to a very high level with brand new cutlery, Coffee machine, and traditional Italian Coffee pots. The Barbecue was fantastic and we were made to feel like the property was ours for the week!!! Polignano a mare is a glorious old Italian Port Town and driving/parking is easy after the first find, but the walk is only 30 mins and spectacular along the Harbour Promenade. Would return tomorrow and perfect for a family of four who love Italian hospitality and spectacular local scenery. A Gem!!!

Perfect holiday accommodation for a young family!

Irene and family were hugely welcoming and hospitable throughout our 2 weeks stay despite our language barriers! The apartment and generous roof terrace worked perfectly for us and our two young girls. The pool and garden area are simply beautiful surroundings to relax in. The photographs on homeaway do not do this justice - the pool is huge! I particularly enjoyed using the traditional Italian BBQ with their own seasoned olive wood in the evenings! Yes, there is some road noise from the nearby main road but this is not intrusive and its proximity means rapid journeys to local towns of interest and some lovely sandy beaches a few km down the coast. Our favourite ones were near the town of Ostuni. We would also recommend a trip to Alberobello to see the Trulli but this was fairly packed with foreign tourists when we went unlike the rest of the area which is generally locals and other Italians holidaying on the coast. There are some lovely restaurants in Polignano and Monopoli, though with two young children we did not sample these often nor in evenings. We hope to return! Thank you

Nous avons passé des vacances formidables et inoubliables chez Irène et Felipe à Polignano! Mille merci pour tout, pour l’accueil, pour tous ces cadeaux laissés pour nous tous les jours A notre porte (fruits et légumes du jardins, produits locaux). La région est formidable, l’emplacement est parfait pour visiter les superbes villes et villages alentours et profiter des plages sauvages du coin. Nos hôtes, Irene et Felipe sont des anges qui ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour dans leur région inoubliable et ils ont réussi ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Tutto perfetto

Ci siamo presi qualche giorno di riposo ed è tutto andato oltre le più rosee previsioni. Nella splendida cornice di una Puglia che non può deludere, siamo stati collocati con pazienza e cortesia dalla signora Irene, perfetta padrona di casa. Location fantastica: bell'appartamento, isolato dal caos di Polignano ma a due passi sia dal paese che dal mare. E se non hai voglia di muoverti e prendere l'auto, puoi sempre fare un tuffo in piscina. Bellissima vacanza.

Przepiękny czas / Beautifull time/ Tempo bellissimo

Piękny, zadbany dom z cudownym ogrodem i wspaniałym, dużym basenem na wyłączność. Apartament świetnie wyposażony: kawa, herbata, mleko, 10 butelek wody mineralnej, ciastka, zestaw śniadaniowy (sok, biszkopt, dżem, miód), środki czastości, ręczniki papierowe, kosz na pranie. Na basenie makarony, materace, leżaki, altana z grillem do naszej dyspozycji. Przemiła, pomocna właścicielka Irene, która codziennie częstowała nas lokalnymi przysamkami (oliwa, figi, arbuz, melon, winogrona itd.) i służyła pomocą, mimo że mówi po włosku, a my nie udało nam się porozumieć bez problemu. W dniu przyjazdu zostaliśmy przywitani przez dziewczynę, która znała angielski i wszystko nam wytłumaczyła. Do dyspozycji mieliśmy też pralkę Irene (i wszystkie detergenty), a naszym tarasie suszarkę. Miejsce przerosło nasze oczekiwania i jest zdecydowanie warte polecenia :) A beautiful, well-kept house with a wonderful garden and a wonderful, large, exclusive pool. The apartment is well equipped: coffee, tea, milk, 10 bottles of mineral water, cookies, breakfast set (juice, sponge cake, jam, honey), cleaning products, paper towels, laundry basket. At the pool there are swimming pasta, mattresses, a gazebo with deckchairs and a grill. Kind, helpful owner Irene, who every day offered us local products (oil, figs, watermelon, melon, grapes, etc.), although she speaks only Italian we hadn't any problem with communicate. On arrival, we were greeted by a girl who knew English and explained everything to us. We also had a washing machine Irene (and all detergents) and a dryer on our terrace. The place exceeded our expectations and is definitely recommendable :) Una bella casa ben tenuta con un meraviglioso giardino e una meravigliosa, grande, piscina esclusiva. L'appartamento è ben attrezzato: caffè, tè, latte, 10 bottiglie di acqua minerale, biscotti, set per la colazione (succo di frutta, pan di Spagna, marmellata, miele), prodotti per la pulizia, asciugamani di carta, cesto della biancheria. In piscina ci sono pasta per il nuoto, materassi, un gazebo con sedie a sdraio e una griglia. Gentile, utile proprietaria Irene, che ogni giorno ci offre prodotti locali (olio, fichi, anguria, melone, uva, ecc.), Anche se parla solo italiano, non abbiamo avuto problemi con la comunicazione. All'arrivo, siamo stati accolti da una ragazza che conosceva l'inglese e ci ha spiegato tutto. Avevamo la nostra terrazza  Il posto ha superato le nostre aspettative ed è decisamente RACCOMANDA :)

Finalmente in vacanza

Vacanza indimenticabile, sia per la location sia, soprattutto, per la estrema cordialità e disponibilità dei proprietari, sempre attenti e premurosi. È sembrato di trascorrere una vacanza in famiglia. La struttura è semplicemente fantastica, circondata da ulivi, piante aromatiche, viti e piante grasse, perfettamente in simbiosi fra di loro. La residenza è molto pulita e curata nei minimi dettagli, dagli abbinamenti cromatici degli arredi, alla particolarità degli stessi, dalla profumazione di pulito dei tessuti alla raffinatezza dei soprammobili. È stata una vacanza ricca di emozioni, piacevoli sin da subito e, inevitabilmente meno alla fine. Un forte abbraccio ai proprietari ed ai loro figli. Quello che fate vi fa onore. A presto

Lovely bright modern apartment with own terrace within a short distance of the centre of Polignano. Our hosts Irena and her husband were particularly welcoming and generous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend to others.

Ein kleines Paradies

Ein wunderschöner erholsamer Ort. Ich glaube das sind die Passenden Worte dafür. Ein Pool der mit Olivenbäumen, Palmen und Bananen eingesäumt ist. Grill, Terasse und alles was sonst noch das Herz begehrt. Ich kann nur jedem Empfehlen dieses Ferienhaus einmal zu besuchen und ein paar Tage der Entspannung und Erholung zu geniessen. Irene Barnaba ist sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir wurden täglich mit frischem Obst aus dem Garten überrascht. Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch einmal dort Urlaub machen.

Des hôtes très sympathiques

Une très belle semaine dans cet appartement. les hôtes sont disponibles, accueillants et de bons conseils. Ils ont un jardin, des vignes et à tous les jours nous avions une surprise , ( concombre, melon, vin ...) Le seul point négatif est l'emplacement , on doit prendre la voiture pour aller visiter et l' appartement est à coté de l'autoroute donc on entend le bruit des voitures mais cela ne nous empêchera pas d'y retourner

Great Location & Excellent Host

We stayed with Irene for a week in the last week of the off season. Irene was a very friendly, very thoughtful and very helpful host and she and her family have a wonderful home. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to visit Puglia. The weather wasn't great at the beginning of the week but once the sun came out we enjoyed using the pool and relaxing in the surroundings. I would not hesitate in recommending this villa for couples or small families. Thank you Irene for your hospitality.

La propriété d'Irène se découvre petit à petit. Si les plantes, les fruits et les légumes vous intéressent, vous serez surpris chaque jour par les parfums et les couleurs. Nous voyageons beaucoup, toujours en location, et je peux dire sincèrement que nous avons trouvé notre idéal chez Irène. Nous avons passé une semaine à visiter ostuni, locorotondo, Martina franca, alberobello, et Irène nous a indiqué les meilleures plages gratuites, les restaurants. Elle nous a trouvé une voiture à louer et nous a accompagné à l'aéroport. Elle nous a gâté tous les jours. Il est évident que la piscine grand luxe est un atout important. Tout était parfait. Irène est une personne d'exception. Elle respire la générosité et rayonne comme un soleil. Elle est dynamique et particulièrement dévouée. Nous avons passé un séjour serein. Vous pouvez louer chez Irène en toute confiance.

Appartamento perfetto

Abbiamo soggiornato c/o Villa Irene dal 2 al 9 settembre 2017. La struttura è recentissima e ben tenuta. Locali puliti e ben attrezzati. La piscina è grande e inserita in un giardino ben curato: l'ideale per concludere in bellezza le giornate passate in spiaggia... Mimmo e famiglia sono stati carinissimi e sempre presenti. Sempre disponibili e pronti per ogni eventuale nostra richiesta. Volendo trovare, ad ogni costo, una piccola nota dolente, possiamo dire che la SS 16 disturba un pochino (con le finestre aperte) e l'ubicazione (periferica) non agevola passeggiate in direzione mare. In ogni caso, la soluzione rimane decisamente consigliabile.

Een mooie loft met terras op de 1e verdieping, schoon en compleet!

De loft is gebouwd op de woning van de eigenaren. Zeer vriendelijke mensen die meerendeels niet aanwezig zijn, cijferen zich weg dus heb je zeker geen last van. Het grote zwembad wordt elke dag bijgehouden en ligt in een mooi aangelegde tuin. De woonkamer/keuken met airco is klein maar groot genoeg voor 3 volwassenen of gezin met 2 kinderen. Grote slaapkamer met airco is ruim met deur naar het terras. Woning ligt vlakbij autoweg tussen Bari en Lecce, ideaal om uitstapjes te maken. Het verkeerslawaai valt mee. Deuren zijn toch dicht met de airco aan. Voor ons (3 volw) een reden om dit nogmaals te boeken en aan te bevelen.

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour dans les Pouilles. L'appartement est très agréable et conforme à sa description, la propreté irréprochable. De plus, Irene et son mari sont aux petits soins et nous ont apporté chaque jour un produit de leur production: fèves, huile d'olive, petits pois...Un grand merci à eux !!! Il est bon de savoir que la route qui passe à proximité génère du bruit; cependant fenêtres fermées on ne l'entend presque plus.

Leuke vakantiewoning met aardige gastvrouw

In de herfstvakantie met ons gezin (2 kinderen van 14 en 12 jaar) naar Polignano a Mare geweest. Ideaal adres op redelijke afstand van Bari airport. Vakantiewoning is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Geweldig dakterras en een mooi zwembad. Eigenaresse Irene is zeer vriendelijk en verrast ons met fruit, groente en kruiden uit eigen tuin. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor verschillende tripjes in de mooi regio. Groeten van Ronald, Sandra en de kinderen

Très bonne adresse

Appartement très bien équipé et propre. La piscine est fabuleuse. La localisation très bonne pour visiter les environs. Seul bémol la route bruyante qui ne passe pas très loin. Irène est adorable, et sa famille très gentille. Ils sont très accueillants et prévenants nous les remercions vivement pour ce très bon séjour que nous avons passé. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Logement très bien équipé et très propre. Piscine superbe et jardin très bien entretenu. Mais ce que nous avons le plus apprécié est l'accueil d'Irene et de sa famille ! Tout simplement parfait ! Entre les fruits et légumes du jardin déposés devant notre porte quasiment tous les jours, les conseils sur les activités et visites à réaliser dans la région, et la bienveillance de toute la famille avec nous et notre bébé (il a même eu le droit à un petit cadeau à la fin du séjour), on voit vraiment que cette famille a le coeur sur la main. Seul petit bémol : Comme indiqué dans d'autres avis, l'appartement est situé à proximité d'une voie rapide et donc, lorsqu'on est sur la terrasse ou le jardin on entend un bruit de fond mais on s'y habitue rapidement. Une fois les fenêtres fermées, on n'entend plus rien (sachant qu'il y a la climatisation on peut fermer les fenêtres !) Conclusion : Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés ! :-)
