Jörg, our man on the island, would meet you at the port on your arrival and take you to the house. If you wish, he would also be happy to arrange a rental car for you, mopeds, bicycles or even a boat. He can also fill up the fridge for you should you be arriving late in the evening, for example. He delivers fresh laundry and can arrange interim cleaning if required. And throughout your stay, he is your point of contact for anything else you might need. On a 10,000 square meter property, featuring pine trees, agave, juniper and rosemary bushes , the architect Henri QUILLÉ designed this villa. Shortly after its completion, he was awarded first price by the FUHEM Foundation for " modern finca-style house ".
In time, Casa "Sa Paret Nova " became so much a part of the landscape that there is really no inclement weather on the property. The comfortably sized patio (110 sqm) is a quiet , sun-drenched oasis even in strong winds and is connected to the North Terrace by a sliding glass door to the North Terrace. From the North Terrace you have a gorgeous view of the landscape, the sea and the legendary rock of Ibiza " Es Vedra ". Since both terraces are partly roofed , even on very hot days you can enjoy tapas and wine with your friends comfortably seated on authentic furniture.
The house is self-sufficient with its modern photovoltaic system, array of solar collectors and a rain water cistern. This also means that you should be mindful of your energy and water use. Hot and cold water are available anywhere in the house as well as 220V electricity supply. An emergency generator automatically kicks in, should the capacity of the batteries be insufficient to cover demand.
