About this property

Located in Compass Point in the private gated community of Litchfield by the Sea, this home offers a wonderful and quiet location all while within walking distance to the beach. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an open kitchen with dining and living area, and screened in porch.

On the first floor, guest will find one bedroom with a double and 2 twins as well as a full bath. In addition to the bedroom, there is a half bath, full size washer and dryer, and plenty of space to relax after a day on the golf course or at the beach.

The second floor of the home features two full baths and three bedrooms. The first bedroom features a king size bed, flat screen TV and private balcony. The second bedroom is perfect for kids with a twin bed and a day bed. The third bedroom features a queen bed and a twin with flat screen TV. This home will surely become a family favorite. Golfers welcome!

Lovely area

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a short stay at Compass Point, but loved the area and community. Very quiet and well kept. Tidelife was great to work with when our original rental became unavailable and they offered us a different option. The house was very spacious and comfortable. It could use some TLC, however...fresh interior paint, updated bathrooms, etc. Overall a nice stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house needed several repairs: light bulbs were out, the ice maker in the freezer didn't work properly, the handle for the microwave was broken, there was a large dent in the refrigerator door and the outside shower was not accessible though it was shown when choosing the property.

Spacious and cozy

The layout of rooms was great and the wrap around porch was amazing with a portion being screened and the rest with hammock and rockers to catch the breeze. The inside is aging, but clean and tastefully decorated. A little short on kitchen utensils, but met our needs. Loved the house and location ❤️

Last minute success

My family decided to find a last minute (3 weeks out) vacation rental. We were very pleased with this house. It is dated but comfortable. It sleeps a lot of people but the beds in rooms could be difficult for many couples. The beach access is about a 5 minute walk. Our favorite part was the extensive biking trails throughout Litchfield.

Great location. Needs some updating

The house was spacious and easily accommodated our family of 8. Its proximity to the beach was perfect. A very short walk. As other reviewers noted, the property is a bit dated. We used the pots and pans, and a few of them really need to be replaced. The air conditioning needs to be rebalanced, as it was working great upstairs, but couldn't get the downstairs below 74 degrees. It was a bit hot. There were remnants of some insects, and a couple of live spiders (two). The outside screened in porch and deck area could use a cleaning and/or a fresh coat of paint. Overall, it is 4 stars out of 5.
