Great location and facilities

The house is modern and well equipped and very close to the beach and various restaurants. Highly recommended for a stay and has parking as well, which is a bonus judging by the cars driving around looking for a space!

Nice house in a good location for the beach, town centre and some lovely restaurants. Danie who looks after the property was really helpful and even picked us up from the railway station. The downside was the charge of €23 per person for the bed linen which wasn’t mentioned on the Expedia site and only communicated to us 2 weeks before our arrival. We were told we could take our own but who takes bed linen on their holidays!!!

Great location

Incredibly well equipped, five minutes walk from bars/restaurants, lots of good places to eat. Knew about the steep slope from the villa. Only negatives are there could have been more sun loungers with cushions and we didn’t realise there are lots of stairs

Beautiful garden and great location

The house is positioned at the edge of collioure, and although the beach is just a few minute walk away, the feeling in the garden is that you are all alone in the countryside. The building is well designed and the bedrooms well organized over the various floors. We`ll be back.

Wonderful place

Fantastic location, really spacious and lovely and clean. Very well equipped and outside space was great - spacious outside eating area. There was a short steep hill to the property, not a problem for us but could be for some. It was right next to lovely country walks but within 10 mins of anything in Collioure. Host Donna was lovely and responded quickly when we needed another help...we had no complaints at all

Marvelous place to be

We just spent a week in Collioure. We liked the house, which was nice furnished and very well equipped. Also the garden was very nice. Despite the nearness of the village and beach (less than 5 minutes walk!) it is very quit thanks to its location on a dead end road. At the end of the road there is a possibility to walk directly into the mountains. Marvelous, marvelous, marvelous.....!

Nous venons de passer une semaine à Collioure. Nous avons aimé la maison, qui était bien meublée et très bien équipée. Aussi le jardin était très agréable. Malgré la proximité du village et de la plage (moins de 5 minutes à pied!), Il est très calme grâce à son emplacement dans une impasse. Au bout de la route, il est possible de marcher directement dans les montagnes. Merveilleux, merveilleux, merveilleux .....!

Beautiful house within a lovely garden located very conveniently to Collioure. The house is spacious and has great quality, eg. Bathrooms are super, furniture is comfortable and lovely, necessary items such as washing machine are good quality. It is easy to stay cool at the property, it was hot when stayed and we appreciated the air conditioning. In addition, the windows and shutters are mostly quite new and easy to use meaning you can easily have a nice flow of air if air conditioning not needed. The aspect looking over the garden is superb and very calming, we noted lots of bird life. The location of the house is extremely convenient, very close to town and beach; we have stayed in Collioure many times and this was the most well placed house we have been in. The information provided by the owner before our stay was comprehensive and clear. Despite being close to Collioure you wouldn't realise when you're in the house and garden, very restful. Also despite being on a small road, there is easy private parking outside the house. Access to the house from the town is flat but with a short steep bit of road right at the end, but in our experience of Collioure it is extremely convenient and easier access than others we have stayed in (It is an old fishing villages after all!). We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Collioure villa

Fab accommodation in beautiful Collioure. Very spacious , comfortable and modern villa with a lovely garden and outdoor eating area. We had 6 adults and all had our own space would definitely book again and recommend to friends. Drawbacks are no air conditioning in bedrooms which could be easily rectified by providing fans we were lucky and my sister who owns a property near by lent us one which did the job also the kitchen has no work space for preparation and cooking but again i would still book again it was a great villa and is unusual to find such a property in Collioure which added to yet another fantastic holiday in Collioure

4 bedroom house walking distance to city center

This modern streamlined house with elegantly simple furnishings and a garden is lovely and spacious for 6 guests. It has strong internet and you can walk to center of Collioure easily in 10-15 minutes. Small problems are internet that was switched with no new password listed. A porches that overheats attached to one bedroom. Air conditioning only in living room. No screens so mosquitos fly In. Only two keys for 4 people coming and going. These are minor problems when you are a enjoying the light filled beauty of a real home.

Cool modern villa with pleasant garden

This villa i situated in walking distance from the beach and restaurants. It is in a quiet area. The garden is very well kept and there is a large terrace. Wifi and aircondition is working as it should. One of the rooms upstairs is a bit hot. But the major bedroom har aircondition. The room on the groundfloor next to the renovated bathroom is cool and aircondition here is not needed. You can feel that the owner has taken great care in keeping the house and furnisher. Bedsheets, towels and beachtowels were provided at an extra price. The only thing that we found a bit odd was that we had to sign a paper with several pages in French (!) with a detailed list of all the patings and furniture (probably made for the insurance company) which we had no chance to understand or desire or time to control. The housekeeper, who received us was very nice about it though and acted organized and professionally.

Not good value for money - brilliantly situated but not all luxurious

House is hard to find (a name on the front would have helped) and involves ignoring ‘No Entry Except for residents’ signs. First impressions not good, with rusty iron railings leading up the steps to the door – and there is an unprotected drop just outside the door. The first thing you see on entering is a printed sign stuck on a mirror threatening that if the property is not left clean then a large charge will be made. On arrival discovered that no bed linen or towels are provided - despite the website clearly stating ‘good bedding’ and the high rental cost. The housekeeper who met us said that there would be an additional hire charge and laundry cost of €86. She rang/texted the owner about this on our behalf and reported that the owner said we had to pay. So having already driven for over 6 hours to get there, we spent the next hour driving to the neighbouring town to buy bedding and towels at a cost of over €100 – but at least we got to take it home with us. The owner later called and said that she had not been able to respond to the housekeeper’s call, had not said that we had to pay and was willing to supply the linen, but by that time we had already bought it. The owner has not offered any recompense from the very high rent that we paid for the week Issues: * much of the house is tatty, with walls daubed with paint identifying redecoration required * main bathroom is extremely dated, with some tiles missing and worn lilac sanitary ware *could not find a plug for the bath and the shower head was broken and fixed so low over the bath that the only option was to kneel in the bath to use it * ground floor bedroom had extremely filthy, ugly and dirty cracked glass extension leading onto surrounding dirty back garden with decrepit furniture * main bedroom has only a chest of drawers and no other clothes storage * upstairs floors were dirty on arrival and on the terrace there were pieces of old bread *kitchen newly fitted but is small and has virtually has virtually no food preparation surfaces *only one sun lounger The good points: * newly decorated and furnished large dining/sitting room * excellent garden terrace with a good very large dining table * downstairs shower room is newly fitted and good. * beds are comfortable *house is very quiet. We are experienced renters in France and despite a good location this property is very very expensive. If and when it is fully refurbished, then it would be worth the current rent.

After a number of misunderstandings, following some uncomfortable hosts ... I regret that you did not say that the linen was provided the evening of your arrival for free, that a cleaning team was proposed, that a team of gardeners has come, the room located 2m from yours offers a large closet (2 wardrobes and shelves) all along the wall, to the ceiling, which measures 200 cm x 60 cm deep, etc. The house is there to make a very pleasant stay for its guests and it only thinks of improving its comfort every year and being concerned about the well-being of its guests. Fortunately, many guests appreciate it.

Wir lieben Collioure und durch die Villa sous les Glycines wurde unser Aufenthalt perfekt! Es passte alles, die Lage, der tolle Garten, die verschiedenen Sitzbereiche (mit Schatten oder doch lieber mit Sonne?), die geschmackvolle und praktische Ausstattung des Hauses und nicht zuletzt der Parkplatz vor der Tür!Wir haben 2 wunderbare Wochen hier verbracht!

Wir sind ein bisschen später angekommen als 16 Uhr und es war kein Thema das wir den Check-in später machen konnten. Frau Canal war super freundlich und hat uns das ganze Haus gezeigt. Es waren Waschmaschine, ein Gefrierschrank ein großer Kühlschrank da das man genug einkaufen konnte für unseren Aufenthalt. Das Haus war super sauber die Betten frisch bezogen und es war im Wohn- und Essbereich klimatisiert. Das Zimmer mit dem Queensize Bett hatte ebenfalls eine Klimaanlage. Auf der Terrasse war ein großer Tisch an dem 8 Personen Platz haben. Ein bisschen schade war es das der Brunnen nicht gelaufen ist. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen und einen schönen Urlaub in Collioure zu verbringen Vielen lieben Dank!

Das Haus liegt nahe am schönen Strand und am Zentrum von Colliour. Es gibt dort viele gute Restaurants und Einkaufmöglichkeiten.Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und die Übergabe und Abgabe des Hauses war sehr unkompliziert. Der Garten ist sehr gross und komplett Eingezäunt, also ideal für Hunde. Im Haus selber ist alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet,wenn auch ein bisschen klein. Wir würden das Haus von Valerie sofort wieder buchen.

Nous apprécions beaucoup le village de pêcheurs de Collioure, son anse ornée de ses bâtiments médiévaux et apprécions encore plus de pouvoir vivre à l'abri des bruits ou nuisances sonores, parfois, de la ville. Zum zweiten Mal ein gelungener Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus mit dem wunderschönen Garten. Wir haben die Nähe zum Strand und zum Ort genossen. Es ist ein zauberhafter Ort mit Charme.

Located at the foot of Albères (mountains), this house facing south, facing the garrigue, the vineyards renowned Collioure and Fort St. Elmo. Its location is very private because the house is a haven of peace, while being 250m from the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. Modern style, all rooms are bright and open on a garden with Mediterranean plants. The large terrace and garden provide lunch in the shade of a pergola covered with wisteria and offer sunbathing.
Ideal for those who enjoy the pleasures of the sea and the mountains (hiking).
