Good accommodation for a family break

Everything provided that we needed, and within easy public transport reach of all the places we wanted to go, either by bus or Metro. The area isn't the nicest but we didn't have any issues at all, and the local park is very good for running off steam.

Ignacio (Sara’s husband) was wonderful and informative. He made sure that we were comfortable and answered a lot of questions. We had a great 4 days in Barcelona, except that my husband’s wallet was taken while we were on the Metro.We heard that this could happen and we took the necessary precautions but it wasn’t enough. This problem is really bad not just for tourists but locals too. It is so unfortunate and such a violation but despite it all, Barcelona is worth visiting and the apartment is worth renting.

great location and accommodation

Our family of five shared a very pleasant experience in this apartment. Three bedrooms slept five adult size people comfortably. Good kitchen / laundry met all our needs. Very spacious overall, and clean. Hosts were exceedingly pleasant and willing to help make our stay in Barcelona a good experience. As others noted, the location is also ideal. Right across street from the maritime museum, short three-block walk to two metro stations (one of which also serves as starting point for the funicular to Mountjuic), and easily accessible walk to groceries, Las Ramblas / Gothic quarter, and the entire waterfront. Would highly recommend.

Très bon séjour à Barcelone

Commençons par le positif qui l'emporte très largement sur ce qui n'est pas du négatif mais des points pouvant être éventuellement améliorés. Appartement bien situé en bordure d'un quartier convivial (Poble Sec) et qui offre toutes les commodités. Nombreux transports en communs au bas de l'immeuble (bus) ou à 5 min (métro) qui vous emmèneront directement dans tous les lieux principaux. A pied, vous êtes à 30 minutes maxi en tous sens de la majorité des points touristiques. Alors certes l'appartement sis au 1er étage (en fait au 2e car il y a un entresol) est situé le long d'une avenue à double voie qui est un axe majeur de circulation dans la ville, qui plus est juste avant un rond-point lui aussi très fréquenté. Cela implique forcément du bruit tout au long de la journée mais il est très bien isolé donc une fois les fenêtres fermées, ce n'est plus un problème. D'autant que la climatisation est plutôt efficace. Autre point à souligner: la remarquable propreté des lieux, avec une literie (matelas, linge de lit) digne de l'hôtellerie ! Placards, électro-ménager, vaisselle, sols...tout est impeccable. L'appartement est grand, fonctionnel et sera pour les voyageurs (au moins jusque pour 6 personnes) un lieu de vie très agréable notamment pour des séjours assez longs. Si vous possédez une voiture, pas de souci grâce au garage. Concernant le balcon-terrasse, il ne faut pas en revanche penser réellement l'utiliser, sauf pour les fumeurs et faire sécher le linge ! Entre la chaleur (du moins en été) qui combine météo, circulation et sortie d'air de la clim, plus le bruit, cela ne donne pas vraiment envie d'y rester. Le bruit au sein de l'immeuble est raisonnable (on est quand même à Barcelone !) malgré une porte qui claque lourdement impossible à identifier... Deux points pratiques "négatifs": - le manque d'équipements pour cuisiner (en bon Français, ça manque !) si vous prévoyez de prendre vos repas à l'appartement: ustensiles, plats, casseroles, etc. - le problème de raccord posé par certaines prises qui ne sont pas adaptées à des fiches classiques. Pour les détails: le sèche-linge, en fait un étendoir, trop petit vu la capacité d'accueil; un réfrigérateur qui fonctionne mal si vous le remplissez d'un coup. Enfin, à noter le bon accueil par des propriétaires qui parlent français, leur disponibilité en cas de besoin et leur attention pour les visiteurs: boissons, condiments, etc. Pour conclure, un appartement à louer les yeux fermés, sans restriction !

God lejlighed og centralt beliggende

Lejligheden levede fuldt ud op til vores (5 voksne) forventninger. Beliggende tæt på centrum med kort afstand til de fleste seværdigheder. En del trafikstøj som forventet. Og praktisk at værtsparret boede i samme bygning, de var meget flinke og hjælpsomme. Savnede måske en udendørs hyggekrog, da trafikstøjen på terrassen var lige i overkanten. Også fordi der var busholdeplads lige nedenfor terrassen. Med lukkede døre og vinduer var støjen ikke noget problem. Skulle vi igen komme til Barcelona, vil vi ret sikkert vælge samme lejlighed igen.

Very nice flat, perfect location, and friendly host

We had a very great time at Saras place. The flat is big with many different sleeping options, it was very clean and the kitchen is very good equipped. The only thing we missed a little bit is a second bathroom, but this was also okay. The flat is perfectly located in short walking distance to the haven and the city centre.There are metro and bus stations directly nearby. The host was very friendly and helpful, everything worked out perfectly, although we arrived quite late. All in all we can highly recommend this flat!

Apartement agréable pour un bon sejour à Barcelone

Le logement est bien situé, à proximité de la mer, et des commerces. Non loin du quartier gothique, on peut déambuler le soir sur la Rambla et les rues adjacentes. Concernant le logement, l'équipement est un peu pauvre pour 6 personnes, une seule salle de bain un peu exigüe avec les toilettes à l'intérieur, ça n'est pas très pratique. L'appartement est un peu bruyant comme souvent en Espagne, mais pour le reste tout est comme dans l'annonce, y compris Iniacio le propriétaire qui est fort accueillant et vous donnera toutes les explications et recommandations utiles à votre séjour.

Bon séjour à Barcelone

Appartement conforme à la description. Très propre. Très bien équipé avec des petits plus très appréciables (boissons fraiches, dosettes de café, lessive, savon...). Très bien situé pour découvrir la ville. Tout proche des Ramblas. Barcelone est une ville magnifique avec énormément de lieux à visiter. Un petit bémol pour le bruit de la rue. C'est une ville aussi vivante le jour que la nuit et l'appartement donne sur une avenue très passante. Le double vitrage ne coupe pas de la totalité du bruit. Et si vous venez, comme nous, de la campagne, c'est un peu génant. On a un peu de mal à s'habituer. Mais une des chambres donne sur la cour très calme. C'était une très belle semaine.
