About this property

Newly-renovated countryside gite, shared use of swimming pool and games room

La Maison Mignonne is a charming, newly-renovated stone cottage, situated in a quiet hamlet in the Haute-Vienne region of South West France. It has been sympathetically restored, combining traditional character with contemporary comfort. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), bathroom (with bath and shower), and open plan lounge-kitchen downstairs. All mod cons are provided: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, wood-burning stove, TV. The gite comes with a small private front garden and there is also shared use of the owners swimming pool (8m x 4m), games barn (table tennis table, full-size American pool table, dartboard) and access to 2.5 acres of land with views towards the Blonde mountains. The Gartempe river is a short walk away and is a lovely spot for a picnic or some fishing.
LARGE GROUP? Up to 10 people can be accommodated if you book our beautiful Mongolian Yurt as well - please enquire for details.

Our stay was for property viewings, but it was a lovely stay. Lovely comfy bed and fabulous wood burner. It was very much appreciated that we were able to collect logs from the wood store, and at no extra charge. Did not use outside facilities. Host was very helpful when needed.

Charmant petit gîte en pleine campagne. Nous ne l'avons pas vu précisé dans l'annonce, mais les serviettes et les draps sont fournis ce qui est un vrai plus. Il y a un bel exterieur avec des jeux pour les enfants. Même si, malheureusement, le temps ne nous a pas permis d'en profiter. Propriétaires soucieux de notre bien-être. Un bon endroit pour se ressourcer au calme.

Pure tranquility

A quiet and peaceful location surrounded by wildlife. A well equipped gite and with hosts on site nothing was too much trouble. Plenty to see and do within an hours drive for both adults and children would recommend this holiday to anyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. X
