Spacious and bright local cadres with two bathrooms and private parking space located in the old town with views of the archaeological site of the ancient Roman villa and convenient to all services.
The accommodation is located on the second floor of a quiet building with a private courtyard where you can safely leave your car The apartment has an interior that has been completely renovated in the living area consists of a spacious separate living room from the kitchen so that guests will enjoy the comfortable sofa bed can enjoy total privacy and spacious kitchen is equipped with microwave, kettle and coffee machine, all lit by French doors leading onto the balcony overlooking the beautiful Roman villa and a glimpse lake on which stands the sovereign Monte Baldo. The sleeping area is composed of two spacious and bright double rooms (with possibility of third bed) each with its own adjoining bathroom with one bathtub Jiacuzzi and the other a shower. Guests will have linen, towels and free WiFi.

The apartment is located in a strategic quiet area yet only 50 meters from the old town pedestrian where guests can enjoy the comfort offered by our modern town with lakeside walks or under the arcades of the square to the shopping streets to nightlife with local restaurants and a piano bar on foot you can reach the bus and the boat landings for trips to explore the picturesque surroundings.

Desenzano and our house is in a strategic position to visit the city, is located 5 minutes from the motorway and in 30 minutes you reach comfortably Verona, in an hour you get to Milan or Venice,
in 5 minutes you can get to Sirmione and its thermal baths or decide to visit Peschiera and, in 20 minutes you can get to Gardaland.
In the historic center and close to all amenities, you can walk in 5 minutes you can The sandy beach.

Desenzano Del Garda July 2024

A very nice apartment on the edge of the centre of the town with a view of Lake Garda. Matteo and his family were very welcoming and helpful. There are a number of small delicatessens & bakeries nearby together with the Albergo Moniga Hotel, where we had coffee and impromptu Italian lessons each morning. We´ll be coming back to Lake Garda and this apartment will be at the top of the list. The Ackers family (Norway & UK)

Amazing 5-star stay in Desenzano del Garda

We (two seniors who like to travel together) stayed at the apartment in Desenzano del Garda. It was one of the best Vrbo apartments we stayed in so far. The apartment was spotless, roomy, airy and bright with a view of Lake Garda. Matteo, the host, was so wonderful. He provided everything we needed and more. His son, Luca, who met us when we arrived, was very sweet. The apartment was within a 5 minute walk to the Lake where there was a lakefront promenade lined with shops and restaurants, and the ferry landing. Very wonderful experience. Definitely 5-stars!

Excellent location

Lovely apartment in the old down. A few minutes walk from the Lake front and restaurants. 20-30 minutes walk from the train station. Milan is about 1 hour away, Venice about 1.5 hours (was very busy on the train) and Canava water park 1-2 stops away and then you have to get a free shuttle. Train station is very slow at dispensing tickets so allow extra time to do this or use an app. Quiet and secure area behind automatic gates. Very clean and spacious. Towels and condiments provided including tea and coffee. Air conditioned which was great after a hot day. Host was very friendly and checked on us by Whatsapp that everything was ok. We weren't sure where to go for supplies like milk, water and bread. There is an Italmart about a 20 minute walk away which had everything we needed.

Wunderschöner Urlaub mit super Ambiente

Unser Aufenthalt in Desenzano war super super schön. Unsere Wohnung war super sklasse , genau so wie beschrieben . Die Wege zum Strand und zur Innenstadt sind sehr kurz - zu Fuß keine 10 Minuten. Desenzano ist eine sehr schöne Stadt und vor allem abends ist immer was geboten . Das Highlight unserer Wohnung war die Whirlpool Badewanne welche unsere beiden Jungs jeden Abend sehr gerne nutzten . Matteo hat uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und war immer für uns da , sehr sehr unkompliziert . Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft . Es war unser schönster Urlaub in den vergangenen Jahren . Alles hat zu 100% gepasst , Wohnung , Ort , Vermieter . Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und für Familien super geeignet . Wir werden sicher wieder wenn möglich in Deszenzano Urlaub machen . Wonderful quiet little neighborhood right on the edge of all the tourist areas. I have bad knees and walk with a cane, I could still walk anywhere I needed to. The apartment was very nice and I would definitely stay here again.

Schöne Wohnung, sehr gut gelegen

Sehr netter Empfang durch Matteo. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und läßt keine Wünsche übrig. Sie ist zentral gelegen, ruhig, sauber und dank Klimaanlage, auch schön kühl. Nur 5 min bis zum Strand bzw. zum Hafen/zur Innenstadt. Sehr praktisch ist der vorhandene Einstellplatz. Direkt gegenüber gibt es eine römische Ausgrabung. Verona, Venedig und Mailand sind sehr gut per Bahn erreichbar. Der Bahnhof ist ca. 15 - 20 min entfernt (zu Fuss). Wer nicht laufen mag, kann auch unterhalb des Bahnhofs parken. Unser Tipp: ein Boot mieten und den Gardasee von der Wasserseite erkunden.

Great accommodation

This property was as good as it looked. Lovely large rooms. Bathrooms great too. Loved the Jacuzzi bath after a long day walking in the sunshine. Tea & coffee and condiments there. They even put a bottle of wine in the fridge. Five minute walk into the centre where ferry boats & buses can take you all around and over the lake. We chose this resort because of the train station; about a 20 min walk or 5 in a taxi. There’s a bus too. Would definitely recommend both apartment and location.

Ideale Wohnung für einen längeren Aufenthalt

Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet, so dass man hier gut einen längeren Urlaub verbringen kann. Der Blick vom Balkon auf den Gardasee ist zu jeder Tageszeit einfach toll. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gar nicht hellhörig. Praktisch ist ein kleiner Balkon nach hinten raus auf dem bequem alle Badesachen trocknen können. Die Wohnung ist der Ideale Ausgangspunkt um von dort Desenzano und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Aber Achtung, die Italiener sind nicht so kinderfreundlich wie man denkt. Uns wurde mit unserer 3jährigen Tochter mehrfach die Toilettennutzung in Hotels und Restaurants untersagt wenn man sich dort nicht niederlässt und selbst wenn wir dafür rasch ein Getränk bestellt haben, haben wir dafür den Unmut zu spüren bekommen. Also mit jüngeren Kindern etwas einfallen lassen. Aber sonst war der Urlaub wirklich toll. Danke.

Wie für uns gemacht

Die Lage der Fewo ist ideal. Kurze Entfernung zur Altstadt und zum Strand. Sehr gute Ausstattung. Fenster mit Fliegengitter. Kleines Manko, dass ein Bad nur eine Badewanne hatte. Aus unserer Sicht wäre schon eine kleine Duschwand vorteilhaft. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Super Aufenthalt und nette Gastgeber

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in dem Appartement verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist perfekt. Man ist in 2-3 Minuten in der Fußgängerzone und kann sogar vom Balkon auf den Gardasee blicken und trotz der zentralen Lage ist es sehr ruhig. Das Appartement hat auch einen Parkplatz direkt bei der Wohnung. Matteo hat uns super nett empfangen und alles erklärt. Er hat auch während des Aufenthalts Tipps und Ratschläge gegeben. War wirklich super. Vielen Dank auch noch mal an Matteo und Judith.

Lake Garda at It’s best.

This is a lovely apartment which is located in a quiet area of Desenzano. A 10 minute walk will take you into the centre where there are a lot of very good restaurants and shops. The owners were the perfect hosts. We had a fantastic week and hope to come back again next year. Many thanks. Peter and Glenda.
