About this property

This house is located between Ponta do Sol and Ribeira Brava, on the south coast of the Island, twenty meters from the beach with easy access to all the sights of Madeira. It has three bedrooms recently refurbished: a 25m2 en suite master bedroom with and sea views, a bedroom with two single beds and a third ideal for children with a bunk bed. The kitchen is fully equiped and opens out into the dining area with direct access to the outdoor patio and tropical garden with pool.
Nearby you will find three restaurants / bars that offer Madeiran regional food and snacks as well as a small grocery store for small purchases.
Across the road , you can take a dip in at Lugar de Baixo Beach or surf our local break point.
The location of the house makes it ideal for those who want to see the island, or wish to go hiking, whale watching or simply go to the beach.

Lovely villa with beautiful garden

The villa is situation on the main coast road which makes access easy but also means there is some road noise. The third bedroom is off the open plan living area. It’s small but perfectly comfortable, however, may not be good for younger children who don’t want to sleep on a different floor to the adults. That said the villa is lovely, well furnished, well equipped and pretty and it has a beautiful, secluded garden with many plants including bananas, tomatoes and other tasty produce. The sea is just across the road where there is a small pebble beach and there are 3 restaurants/cafes very close by. Davide, the host, is extremely helpful and gave us suggestions for places to visit as well as fresh bananas from the garden.

Beautiful oasis

Beautiful home and garden with a small swimming pool ideally located across the road from the sea and various cafes and restaurants. It is separated from the centre of Ponta do Sol by a road tunnel which is not pedestrian friendly and so a car is essential. The owners were very welcoming and helpful which also contributed to the success of our holiday. We were a family of six and found the accommodation to be excellent.

Alojamiento perfecto con todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones estupendas.

La casa es muy coqueta y en un estado de conservación excelente. La casa superó nuestras expectativas ya que mejora bastante a las fotos que vimos previamente. Toda nuestra familia lo pasamos muy bien, incluso comentábamos que era una pena no haberle sacado mucho más partido ya que pasábamos gran parte del día fuera haciendo turismo y pasábamos poco tiempo al día en la misma. Tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones estupendas. Su ubicación nos pareció muy buena ya que tiene un acceso muy bueno y rápido a las vías principales para visitar la isla y tiene todo tipo de servicios cercanos. David, su propietario fue muy amable con nosotros. Nos retrasamos a la llegada y nos esperó con mucha paciencia y con una sonrisa en la cara. Enhorabuena por la casa que tienes. Saludos.

agreable sejour

Nous avons été bien reçu par David Sousa. La maison est très agréable, spacieuse et confortable. Le propriétaire avait cueilli les bananes du bananier et nous avons pu les déguster avec beaucoup de plaisir. Le jardin permet de bien se relaxer après une journée de marche. Le seul point negatif est la proximite avec le restaurant, il y a donc un peu de bruit seulement le week end. En general très bon séjour.
