A pretty blue painted, Victorian 3 floor house with sunny patio garden. Double glazed for quiet and with good security . A flight of steps up to the front door, leads into a wood floor hallway and a double reception room with comfortable sofas and arm chairs and TV. An all white interior makes for cool, modern living in this light and sunny space. Walls full of modern art.
Downstairs to a white designer kitchen with stylish 6 seater dining room that leads via French windows into the garden. You can sit and eat al fresco shaded by olive and fig trees in a private paved patio.
Two bedrooms are on the top floor, the third on ground floor.
The main bedroom has two windows looking onto the street with a super king bed , clothes wardrobe space, an armchair, side table and lamps, carpets and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower extension.
The second bedroom is on the half landing looking out onto gardens, with a double bed, side table and armchair, carpets and wardrobe clothes space.
The third bedroom is at the rear of ground floor looking out onto gardens, with a single bed, side table and armchair, rugs and storage.
There is a separate large bathroom with toilet, washbasin and walk-in shower on the top floor.
We love our house because it is in a village-like area with shops, cafes,pubs and restaurants in the next street and others facilities open late and close-by. It’s safe walking about even at night and a friendly,family neighbourhood.
In the next street, Brackenbury Rd there is: a butcher, local food and newspaper and wine shop, delicatessen, restaurant/brasserie, home supplies store , hairdresser and laundry- plus pub round the corner and an art gallery! Three streets away is Hammersmith Grove with The Grove bar and restaurant, Brackenbury Wine Rooms Restaurant and Deli, Italian ice cream parlour, 2 food shops and beauty salon. Great gastro pubs no more than 5-ten minutes walk: The Anglesea Arms, Dartmouth Castle and Andover Arms- gastro pubs.
Our two local delis serve breakfast, with fresh french bread, great coffee, pastries and salads and light snacks- so you don't have to cook if you don't want to if you've had a long day of sight-seeing. Supermarket,banks, many restaurants and main shops are all at Hammersmith on the main King St, near the tube station- 8 minutes walk away. Clothes shops include:Marks&Spencer, Primark, TKMaxx and H&M. The big Westfield shopping mall is a 15 minute walk away. Portobello Market for antiques and clothes is a short tube ride away. From nearby you can take a bus straight to Oxford St (no 94) ,to Piccadilly and Westminster. Or a tube- we have 4 tube lines.
So there is everything you need for a great London stay- all within easy reach. the best thing is that at the end of a day you can come home to a lovely quiet restful place- our house!
Cleaning and Sanitisation: Our property follows an enhanced cleaning protocol (developed by expert guidance, approved by AirBnB). It is a two-part process of cleaning and then sanitisation. It is applied to all items that are touched or used, soft furnishings, surfaces, utensils and furniture. Here are a few highlights:

• 72 hour ‘quarantine period between lettings
• use of cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies
• PPE for cleaning staff to prevent cross-contamination
• each space / room has specific cleaning tasks & checklists
• provision of extra guest cleaning supplies, stay clean whilst you stay
• compliance with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines
We operate a self check-in and check-out. We are following Covid 19 protocols and on arrival you will receive a certificate of “Committed to Clean” detailing what was done, products used and when the property was cleaned for you. In addition to normal provision we are leaving you an enhanced provision; disposable paper towels, multi-surface cleaner, disinfectant spray, antibacterial hand sanitiser, extra hand soap.
