We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at this breathtaking villa—our second stay, and somehow even more enjoyable than the first. Words truly don’t capture just how special this home is. Although Makarska was bustling even at this time of year, the villa offered everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable escape. The property was lovely had a few problems with the water ie water pressure and no hot water. Long walk to the town down quite steep hill. Also property had electric gates which wouldn’t open sometimes so had to climb over. Over priced for the area.

Beautiful Makarska Villa

Gorgeous villa with stunning view and fantastic facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, pool table and sauna. Spotlessly clean and beautiful interior. Lovely welcome from Zorana who was always on hand to help provide recommendations and book restaurants, taxis, boat trips etc. Miljenko, the owner, was very prompt with his responses to queries before the holiday and provided return transfers to and from Split airport which was incredibly generous and much appreciated. Fantastic place would highly recommend.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay at the villa very much. The house was light, clean and very spacious for our party of 6. Zorana the local property manager was very helpful and even gave us a lovely cheesecake on our last day. My only quibble would be that there should be more instructions about how some of the equipment in the house works. Simple things like how to get the ice maker to work. There are a lot of great facilities in the house but we had to spend quite a lot of time online trying to figure them out.

Spectacular place!

The view was amazing. The house was extremely well appointed and cleanest place we have stayed. Usually outdoor spaces need some wiping before using and not for this place. Indoor and outdoors spaces were extremely well kept. Only disappointment was the heated pools inside and outside were very cold. Couldn't get in then at all. I get it because we were there in September so cooler nights and energy costs are skyrocketing but wish it wasn't advertised as heated pools. The hot tub was amazing. The only other challenge was there are no bathrooms on the main level. You have to walk up 3 steps for the powder room which is no big deal except I broke my leg while on our vacation so it was a challenge. Only sharing this in case someone has mobility issues before booking to be aware of that. Another bonus of this place is the manager helped us with great restaurant and activity suggestions and even booked a cab for us. It was an amazing vacation for us (5 adults) and the Vila was a major part of it.

Incredible Villa!

This villa is beautifully designed with wonderful views over Makarska. The two pools are excellent and the sauna is spacious, everything top class. Can't say enough about the whole place, it is absolutely perfect. Big spacious bedrooms with good ensuites and balconies on some rooms. Loads of fridge space for drinks with 2 fridges and a drinks cooler. Kitchen well equipped and a generous stock of fruit, bread, tea, coffee etc on arrival. Air conditioning throughout was good. Small drawback that the barbeque was very difficult to light and the grill was too low to the coals so food easily burned. Shame, as we normally enjoy a BBQ. One other thing for us was the gusty winds. When the winds picked up we had to bring all the cushions into the house which was no mean feat. There are cushions on all loungers and all round a seating area. Then in the morning when the wind had died down, we had to put them all out again. Bit tedious on holiday. Maybe there is a way of attaching them more securely so that this isn't necessary? Had to clean the pool ourselves with a machine that you drop into it each day. Never been asked to do this before and we didn't really mind just seems odd when you are paying a lot for the villa. Maybe it is to give you privacy rather than have someone come each day to do these jobs? All in all still an absolutely wonderful place to stay in a beautiful country with amazing food everywhere you go - definitely recommend it!

Ein traumhafter Urlaub! Mein Mann und ich verbrachten unsere Flitterwochen in dieser wunderbaren, modernen und höchst zufriedenstellenden, sauberen Villa. Jegliche Wünsche und Vorstellungen wurden übertroffen. Frau Zorane kümmerte sich vor Ort um uns und erfüllte unsere noch so kleinen Details, sodass wir einen gepflegten rundum Service vor Ort hatten. Die Villa liegt in bester Lage und entspricht den genauen Beschreibungen, als wir ankamen, übertraf der reale Anblick alles, was wir uns vorstellen konnten. Es war wunderschön! Die Stadt ist mit dem Auto innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichbar, sowie viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig und man ist auf dem Privatgrundstück ganz für sich und hat kaum neugierige Blicke. Wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. ♡

Fabulous villa

This villa is everything you could ask for on a luxury break. Our contact Ms Zorano was there for any help we required during our stay and even after we forgot an item was so helpful to return it to us. We had a hired car and although the villa is close to the town I still would recommend the hire of a car.

Das Haus war richtig toll. Es war alles super sauber und schön her gerichtet. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, um einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen. Und wenn es draußen mal schlechtes Wetter hat, kann man einfach am Innenpool oder in der Sauna entspannen. Das Haus entspricht auf jeden Fall den Bildern. Und zudem hatten wir eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die uns in jedem Moment sehr nett betreut hat. Wir werden auf jeden Fall gerne wieder kommen 😊

Absolute perfection! We will be back!

This home and its hosts were wonderful in every way. We had a group of six using all four bedrooms for a celebratory trip. The property is exactly as pictured, astonishingly beautiful and functional. We used all the amenities every day. Miljenko and Zorana took care of us before, during, and even after our trip (when we accidentally took one of the keys with us). Zorana arranged a perfect speedboat tour of the islands, brought us towels when we needed them. She set us up from the beginning, with an informative tour when we arrived after our long trip from the states, and then quickly and kindly answered questions that came up along the way. The hot tub needed a fine tune and she handled it the same day. The view is fantastic, and there is plenty to do in the area. Miljenko offered to take us around, and helped us figure out some of our activities. This home, the site, the city, and the hosts all get the highest possible ratings from us.

Noch besser als auf allen Bildern - fünf Sterne sind zu wenig !!

Die Villa ist wirklich atemberaubend…. Die Architektur, der Ausblick , die Einrichtung- mehr als luxuriös- das ganze wird noch getoppt von der persönlichen Betreuung ( Bei uns war es Frau Zorana Stulic ) , die einem wirklich jeden Wunsch , jede Buchung jede Kleinigkeu, jede Frage - egal zu welcher Uhrzeit sofort mit einem Lächeln erledigt- ein richtiger „Engelservice“ hier noch einmal ein großes Dankeschön an Dich Zorana ! Wir waren zu acht ( 6 Erwachsene und zwei Teenies) in der Villa - keiner von uns war vorher schon einmal in Kroatien - alles sind heim mit den Worten - HIERHER AUF JEDENFALL WIEDER ! Die Hütte ist jeden Euro wert !!!!! Nochmals von allen vielen vielen Dank für diesen außergewöhnlichen Urlaub !

Excellent Stay!

First, let me share the owner Miljenko is first class! We booked the property in 2020 and due to COVID had to cancel. He made sure to honor our deposit for this year. Very, very helpful with everything you need to ensure a great visit. He provided suggestions, solutions and ideas to make our stay perfect. The manager Zorana was so hospitable, she made reservations, sorted out a boat rental and was there immediately to help answer questions. When we arrived for lunch/dinner etc. we were treated like VIPs, best table, best waiter, etc. Cant go on how great time we had and thanks to both of these great people. We will be coming back next year. By the way, I encourage the Americans to come - perfect location to see everything. Easy walk to the beach, store and restaurants all an easy 1 mile drive.

Fantastic Villa

We enjoyed a fabulous stay at Villa Oblica. It’s a stunning villa with a great view of the Makarska bay. It’s all incredibly well set up for a family stay with the pools, the games room and the hot tub. Zorana was very friendly and incredibly helpful and gave us some great recommendations for boat trips and local restaurants.
