About this property

Traditional seafront ground floor apartment. Children free in summer.

This is a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment right next to the sea. The sea wall is 2 metres from the apartment with direct access from the apartment. There is no access to the roof terrace. Most of the year with the exception of July, August, and part of September it is very quiet. The summer can be busy, The apartment is in a traditional Canarian village with numerous sea pools, coastline walks, bars and restaurants which welcome locals and visitors. The apartment itself has a large open planned kitchen, lounge and dining area which overlooks the sea. There are 2 bedrooms, one with ensuite, an additional bathroom. The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker,fridge freezer, microwave, cutlery, dishes, pots and pan, etc,etc. There is a washing machine, iron, and ironng board. The TV is a modern flat screen which picks up Spanish free view with manEnglish Spoken programs. We also have Satellite TV which receives many News networks and other programs. We also provide free wifi
The village is in the north of the island where there are many scenic locations, beaches and places of interest. It is ideal for both cyclists and walkers. There are may restaurants and bars to enjoy. There is also a bus service to the capital Arrecife which sts a many interesting places along the way.

Het is een goede uitvalsbasis om Noord Lanzarote te verkennen. Punta Mujeres is een authentiek dorp. Erg rustig en niet echt gezellig. Het appartement is groot en fijn, maar kan wel wat renovatie gebruiken.

Another superb stay!

The location is fantastic. Just sit on the sofa and listen to the waves lapping just metres away. Apartment is functional and clean and tidy. Access is fairly easy. We'll be back for another visit soon!

posizione buona e appartamento pulitissmo MA: - camere da letto molto infelici, a livello strada, con muri scrostati e sovraffollate di letti: deprimenti. - visibile trascuratezza nel mantenimento: porta che apre solo a meta' con rumore stridente, puzza di fogna dagli scarichi, lavabo intasato, telefono doccia, sia nel bagno piccolo che nella vasca ( vasca peraltro inutilizzabile: boiler troppo piccolo per riempirla) -biancheria del letto di due taglie piu' piccola di quel che serviva -Televisione inutilizzabile, pentole acciaccate e insufficienti -la parte davanti dell'appartamento, quella che da sul mare e' rivolta a est: alle due del pomeriggio il sole se ne va (giusto per saperlo) -accoglienza inesistente: il proprietario sta in Inghilterra e se hai bisogno di qualcosa ti arrangi. Peggio ci ha segnalato come persona di riferimento , cui rivolgersi in caso di necessita', la ragazza delle pulizie, che e' stata gentilissima e disponibilissima, ma che non era nemmeno stata avvertita , non sapeva di essere stata usata e indicata come riferimento e non aveva alcun accordo col proprietario: nonostante questo ha fatto il possibile per aiutarci, ha coinvolto persino suo padre , ma ...a gratis!!

We had a lovely relaxing holiday in this well equipped modern apartment. Comfortable beds and ample towels . Everything was in the apartment that we needed. Tucked into a side street way from the cars amongst the locals. Perfectly placed in the village with an uninterrupted view of the waves. Free Parking a few yards away . Punta mejures is a quiet village not really touristy a small number of restaurants where you can take just a drink also. A community social building with tapas and various activities. nice apartment, nice location, but loud - and could be more tidy

In front of the backside window (that offers the nice view to the ocean) is the meeting hot spot of the youngsters from the neighborhood - until 1 o'clock in the night. They are friendly, but you cannot sit and relax outside (or you sit with them). The apartment was not very clean. Mentioning this, the owner wrote us that we "failed to appreciate the positive aspects of the apartment". In fact, it would have been more helpful to send someone to the place to clean it.

Keine tolle Wohnung

Nachdem wir (2 Freundinnen) 2 Wochen La Palma und 2 Wochen Teneriffa in sehr schönen Wohnungen zu wesentlich niedrigeren Preise verbrachten, waren wir von dieser Wohnung sehr enttäuscht. Im Bad waren noch Zahnpastareste im Lavabo und Glas vorhanden, die Fenster waren so schmutzig, dass man kaum durchsah, am Fensterladen in einem Zimmer war der Griff abgebrochen, sodass man ihn nicht schliessen konnte, d.h. man konnte auch das Fenster nicht geöffnet haben, da das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss und direkt auf die Durchgangsstrasse hinaus lag. Kaffeekocher und Saftpresse defekt. Bratpfannen nicht zu gebrauchen, durchgebogene Böden und sehr schadhafte Beschichtung. In einem der Badezimmer kein Abfalleimer, obwohl man die Toilettenpapiere nicht ins Klo werfen darf! Auch der sogenannte Sitzplatz ist nicht wirklich zu gebrauchen, er befindet sich auf der oft stark begangenen öffentlichen Strasse. Auch nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen hat sich niemand bei uns gemeldet um die Schäden zu beheben.

'Almost' perfect for us

This apartment is in such a lovely position. It is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. There was only one negative which was a noisy water pump. This may not be a problem for some but as it is located in the main bedroom it woke us often (we're both light sleepers). At first it was due to a tap dripping in the upstairs apartment which the owners sorted immediately (they could not have been more helpful in fact), unfortunately for us, the guests upstairs were up in the night flushing the chain and were early risers/showers so we could not have a lie in.They could not have known and after we bought some ear plugs we got some good night's sleep and had a fantastic stay. The village is quiet and the lagoons are brilliant for swimming and snorkeling. Just down the road is Arrieta (walking distance) which is a bit livelier if you want to eat out or find an ATM/supermarket. If the pump was sorted we would stay here again. It may not be a problem for everyone and it was a great place to stay with very helpful owners.

Minder huis op een mooie locatie

In november 2017 zijn we 10 dagen in Punta Mujeres geweest. Een rustig dorpje direct aan de rotskust. Op de dag van aankomst was er al een hele kolonie mieren in de woonkamer en 2 kakkerlakken in de badkamer. Tijdens het verblijf alle afvoeren met rubber doppen moeten afdichten waarna we nog steeds dagelijks kakkerlakken hadden rondlopen. Het huis was een beetje 'viezig', o.a. vonden we lange donkere haren in de badkamers. Wat wel heel prettig was dat er al wat eten en drinken in de keukenkastjes en koelkast klaar stond. Erg gehorig huis, waar volgens ons iets mis is met de leidingen. Slaapkamers zijn ruim maar wel helemaal volgestouwd met bedden. De omgeving was mooi, veel kunnen zien en doen maar het verblijf was echt minder.

Well equipped comfortable apartment next to the sea.

We arrived at Casa Neptuno on a Thursday afternoon where we were met by the cleaner. The apartment was excellent with comfortable Ikea beds and a fully-equipped kitchen with a dining area and large open-plan sitting area with french windows overlooking the rocky pebble beach just over the road. It was immaculately clean and, despite some quirky plumbing and a sticky front door, very easy to live with. The ceiling fans were especially welcome on warmer nights The area outside the apartment was the gathering point for several local families of all ages from 3 to 93 every afternoon enjoying the sea and home-made doughnuts. Despite our very poor Spanish (there was an early debate about whether we were really German because of our Welsh accents), we were regaled with details of family connections and ailments and generally made very welcome. The guide books all describe Punta Mujeres as devoid of tourist appeal and they are right. Very few locals will speak English. There are no tourist info centres, no discount tobacco or booze shops, no car-hire shops, no beaches or decent restaurants. The mini-mart is so tiny you have to walk sideways down the aisles and pray nobody comes the other way. It was exactly what we were hoping for and if you are looking for that elusively Canarian experience, Punta Mujeres might just be for you. If it is, we can heartily recommend Casa Neptuno as a very comfortable base. We were there during the annual Fiesta, a ten-day event with swimming contests, car rallies and dance competitions. The main stage was a few hundred metres away and it got a bit noisy with late-night bands and DJs until 4am so, if you want peace and quiet, maybe avoid the first 10 days in September.

Seafront apartment in unspoilt fishing village

The spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is in a lovely seaside village in the unspoilt Northwest of Lanzarote. Good swimming and snorkelling in the clear sea that is right on your doorstep. Good selection of cafes and mini markets within walking distance. Plenty of interesting places to visit that are in easy reach by car. Stunning scenery.

Das Inserat entspricht den Angaben wie gesehen. Die Lage ist perfekt. Es ist alles einfach mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Ein Parkplatz befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung war sauber und gepflegt. Sie hat einen sehr schönen Ausblick auf das Meer. Der Vermieter hat das Versprochene gehalten und hat uns gut betreut. Ich empfehle die Wohnung weiter und möchte selbst gern noch einmal an diesem Ort Urlaub machen. Es gibt in der Nähe sehr schöne Restaurants, die frischen Fisch anbieten. Sehr gut. Die Attraktionen bestehen in der Erkundung der Insel Lanzarote.

Todo ha estado perfecto, no hemos tenido ningún problema, la descripción del apartamento ha sido acorde a la realidad y la comunicación con los propietarios ha sido muy buena. El apartamento estaba bastante limpio y tenía una excelente ubicación casi a orilla de playa.
