Modern bright spacious two bedroom apartment.

This apartment was originally co-owned and I am now the sole owner - Selina. If you see any reviews this relates to the ex owner who used to manage this site. For transparency and I am based in the UK.

Set on the island of Sal in Cape Verde, this apartment features 3 sun terraces with a year-round communal outdoor pool and sun loungers. Free private parking is available on site. The apartment is on the Villa Verde site of Ficus.

The complex is near the Melia / Llana / Dunas hotels / Bikini beach is 10 min walk and can be accessed by walking through the hotels. The Kite heaven of Ponta Preta Beach is 15 min by car, the Villa Verde bus will take you there for free at set scheduled times, or you can take the taxi (frequently available)

The apartment is 15 minutes from Sal Airport - International Name is Espargos. A transfer can be arranged on request - The driver will be paid direct - Max 30 Euros.
It will take you 20 minutes to walk into the town centre of Santa Maria. There's a free shuttle bus from the apartment. A taxi into town will take less than 5 minutes and costs around €5 / 7 - please check the price prior to using the taxi.

On arrival at the airport, you will be charged a visa fee of €30 unless this has been arranged by your flight carrier. It is worth checking with your tour operator.

The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people (1 double room, 1 twin room and a large double sofa bed in the lounge). The whole apartment and pool is at your disposal, apart from the private wardrobes in the hallway.

The master double bedroom has an en-suite complete with bath; there is also a separate marble shower room and toilet which leads off the hallway.
The apartment features a well-equipped open plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen boasts a built-in oven and extractor fan, a microwave, fridge-freezer and a toaster, as well as a kettle.

Towels and linens are included, and a laundry service is available for a small fee, paid direct to the managing agent. There is a washing machine in the apartment. There are 2 beach towels available for guest use if you need additional beach towels you will need to bring your own. An iron and ironing board are also present.

For your entertainment, a flat-screen TV is also available for your use. This has a USB so you can bring a Firestick.
Wifi is not provided but a SIM card can be obtained at a good price.

There is no free Wi-Fi in the apartment itself however there is the option to purchase a SIM card at the airport - 20G for 25 Euros . There is free Wi-Fi access in the Vila Verde Main Reception and also at the Cactus Pool Bar (Free during pool bar hours ask for details to connect at the pool bar). **If your on the main balcony in the apartment you can normally pick up the free resort Wi-Fi**

The apartment does not have air con but there are two industrial fans in place. Cape Verde also has a natural breeze and is not a humid environment during the winter months - Oct - April.

Please let us know, in advance of booking if you have any queries, specific requirements or expectations regarding the apartment or its location. For water sports/kite flying enthusiasts 'Kite Beach' is 10 minutes by taxi.
