Rock House - Hosted by The Chalets

Rock House Rocks! Great place for a family outing of up to 8 or up to four couples looking for a getaway. Newly Built in 2015, beautifully decorated, poolside unit is public to guests until 10:30am - 7:30pm, private to Rockhouse guests after that point. (while in season, open Memorial day to Labor Day). Sleeps 8 people with 4 queen beds, full kitchen, Seasonal gas fireplace, with WIFI available, 2 HD tv's, 2 1/2 baths, screened porch with hot tub, gas grill and outdoor fire pit overlooking a beautiful rock formation and stream. Please note that our cabins that sleep 8 or more people have a minimum age requirement of 25.

Perfect stay for hocking hills

This was a perfect place to stay it was a three-bedroom cabin with three bathrooms full kitchen and right next to the pool also with a hot tub in the enclosed screen porch. There is no laundry on site but approximately 7 miles away I even tried to hang a clothesline but there's really nowhere to hang one from. Ill tell everyone i know to stay here!

Wonderful experience

We took a leap of Faith and chose this destination for an extra long weekend with our grown children. We can’t express how perfect this stay was for us all. The location is a little odd , as it is attached to the pool (that’s closed for the season) but that made it extra cool . We were tucked back in this cool little cubby with privacy and a beautiful view. The house come equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. Dishes and cookware, dish soap, shower soaps, etc. This little spot would be a great in the summer if ya have pool age kids.

Roadhouse getaway

We had some struggles with the Wi-Fi on the first night. It was resolved on the second day with a connection to another location close to us. We never did get the landline phone connected and working during our stay. We had family members with us who are elderly and we thought there might be a shower basin in one of the bathrooms, but both bathrooms had tubs. Besides those two issues, the property was very clean, well furnished, and generally was an amazing place for us to stay. We plan to come back in the future!

This place was perfect for our party of 6! We loved the fire pit, hot tub and view. It is close to hiking spots and not too far from town but still maintains a good enough distance for privacy. This was our second stay at the rock house and would recommend!

Renovated Club/Pool House NOT FREESTANDING

I did not realize from the pictures or reviews that this house is ATTACHED to the community clubhouse and pool. It was formerly the clubhouse so if you look closely at the pictures you can see the pool, the 6' privately fence that surrounds all the windows inside the house (no views/light from any windows) and the patio, which people will be innocently walking their dogs on, and walking across thinking that this is the clubhouse and trying to get to the pool. The parking lot is the driveway. We had a good time and enjoyed the amenities of the house but I was shocked and disappointed upon arrival. I went back and read the description of the house and it does say that it is connected to the pool but it was not what I was expecting. Just be prepared! The house is well decorated and stocked but dark and not private.

Perfect for family get together

Really enjoyed our stay here. The kids had a blast. Loved the table for dining. Only thing we needed was a scrub pad for cleaning a casserole dish. Wasn't sure how to work the dishwasher. Was disappointed the hot tub wasn't hot. We kept trying to turn up the temp but it didn't seem to be working. Pool was great, screened in porch was great.
