Charming house in the heart of the Armagnac country

Located in a small village in the heart of the Pays de l'Armagnac, this family home (18th / 19th century origin) has been renovated "old-style" in the purest style of the region. The decoration is neat and authentic with family furniture and old materials. It is nestled in the village at the bottom of a garden, offering a breathtaking view of the pretty bell tower of the church. The tinted cement salt pool is bordered by a large terrace with summer kitchen.
The house includes a large living room with a stove (traditional piano), sink and large fireplace, a fully equipped back kitchen (sink, fridge, machines, robot ...), An indoor lounge with a view of the pool and its terrace, 5 large bedrooms, three with double beds (one of 160), and two twin bedrooms (including one of 120). Two bathrooms, three toilets, two of which are separate. .
Outside, by the pool, a terrace with a dining area (plancha, barbecue, fridge, stone sink ...) and an outdoor lounge. Upstairs, a large attic playroom.
TV, Internet, reading, cycling and hiking, fishing, pétanque, Golf, visits to the Bas Armagnac cellars and wines, local markets, gastronomy, swimming and games at Barbotan Lake, visits to bastides and medieval villages ...

Relaxing holiday

The house was really charming with a friendly owner. It is an old house with modern amenities. The pool was lovely and is adjoined by a shaded outside dining area with bbq grill, fridge and sink. There are no shops in the village but a 10 minute drive takes you to supermarkets. The region is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring on the cycles provided and driving around.

Mais quel bel endroit. Une maison spacieuse, rénovée et décorée avec un goût exquis par Laurence, la propriétaire des lieux. Petit paradis dans le gers !

Charme et calme pour cette authentique maison de village, décorée avec soin dans un style campagne chic. Dés l'entrée, on ressent de bonnes vibrations. Enserrée dans ses murs, le jardin et la piscine, sans vis à vis, incitent au repos. Seul, le clocher de l'église adjacente nous rappelle 2 fois par jour la présence du village et ajoute au charme du lieu. La terrasse d'été couverte, parfaitement aménagée (plancha, barbecue, évier et réfrigérateur) nous a permis de prendre tous nos repas au bord de la piscine. Seul bémol, l'espace piscine un peu juste pour 10 personnes, mais la magie opère par son "esprit Pompéien". Les plus : - très bon contact avec la propriétaire et Bernadette à l'accueil, - cuisine parfaitement équipée pour cuisiner (vaisselle, robots, ...) - les vélos à disposition pour des balades bucoliques qui nous ont permis de découvrir la productrice de fromages de chèvre de la ferme du Touja (yaourts et caillé divins !). A ne pas oublier : l'insecticide anti-moustiques !!! En résumé : une très belle découverte.

La prestation est de très haute qualité: confort, calme, espace, charme et caractère.

Située dans un sympathique village, au pied d une charmante petite éclise cette maison de caractère rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, vous offre tout le confort moderne. De nombreuses chambres, une très belle cuisine et plusieurs sanitaires complètent cet ensemble très spatieux et charmant. Le maître mot est la quiètude, le silence est la règle. Le coin piscine est magique: bordée par une cuisine d été, equipée d une plancha et d un babecue, d un espace cosy autour d un grand sofa d extérieur vous permettra de siroté votre apéro dans une ancienne grange ouverte sur la piscine . Vous y serez accueilli par une propriétaire fort sympathique toujours disponible pour répondre aux diverses questions. De nombreux détails font la différence comme un jeu de serviette complet dans chaque chambre avec un savon de marseille pour chaque convives, une literie de grande qualité ..... Le seul petit bémol le revètement de la piscine en ciment quelque peu abrasif. Sinon nos trois enfants de 2, 7 et 12 ans ont adoré ce lieu équipé d un grand grenier salle de jeu, d une salle avec table de ping pong et la piscine a éguaillé leur journée. C était très très bien .
