A newly renovated traditional brick & flint Norfolk cottage, sleeps up to 6 with use of large sofa bed in lounge. 2 bedrooms, one walk through to master which has lovely en-suite. Luxury bathroom with digital TV to watch in bath. Hot tub in garden (new one installed 2023). Located within a stones throw of the secluded magnificent stretches of beaches at Bacton. Short walk to sea front pub (the Poachers Pocket) serving traditional pub grub. Ideally located to various days out locally. Enclosed rear garden

A fantastic property!

I cannot rate this peoperty highly enough. It has everything needed for a quality trip away. The accommodation was excellent and Victoria and Lawrence were superb hosts. The hot tub was lovely. We will certainly be back!

Birthday Celebration

We had a fantastic time. Weather was good. Walks on beach with dog and walking to other villages so easy. Then back to a lovely cottage for hot tub and cosy nights in with wood burner. We will be back

Beautiful cottage in perfect location

The cottage was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Location was ideal. Just a few minute walk to miles of sandy beach and the pub was only 10 minutes away! After a long walk (Bacton circular walk is a must) the hot tub was perfect to relax in. I cant recommend this cottage and location enough!

Location excellent. Loved being so close to beach. Hot tub great to chill on a night. It did have sand in when we got there but understandable with going on beach, even showering before doesn’t get all sand of you. Plenty of cutlery although didn’t use it we don’t cook on holiday. Just areas where bit of dusting needed.

Hot Tub Heaven in April

A wonderful property, a short walk down Keswick Road to the beach. We had a great time in the cottage easy to manage ie heating ,tv And kitchen . The hosts were very understanding and most helpful, a good place to wind down after a socke in the Hot Tub even in April. The stairs were a bit challenging as my partner is a bit unsure , but having mentioned it to Victoria She said they would be more than happy to make the bed up on the ground floor,as I said great hosts. In these most challenging times with Covid Victoria and Laurence could have not been mre helpful 10 out of 10. Generally it was as it said on the tin and what you'd expect from a period property tastefully modernised. Access to the beach was good and it was a good clean beach. Facilities available in the village met our needs. A couple of points, some sort of airer or drying rack outside would have been good after a visit to the beach especially with a young child. Also getting the car off the drive needed a person to watch you out. Possibly some sort of mirror opposite would be helpful.

Cute Cottage

Cottage was sufficient for our needs, I would add that this would not be suitable for 4 adults and only suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids due to the single beds not being in a bedroom but on a landing at the top of the stairs. Furthermore I dont think this would be suitable for an elderly couple due to the steep winding stairs. It was however for us a lovely quaint cottage and the location was perfect as only a 3-5 minute stroll to the beach. Poachers Pockets was a very welcoming friendly pub that had everything one could need, the Kingfisher fish bar was just delicious, however I would not recommend the chinese.

The cottage was lovely. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and all we needed for a couple of nights in Norfolk with our dog, with the beach only 5 mins walk away.

Fern cottage is a little gem

The cottage is amazing. Full equipped with everything you need. The hot tub is a bonus. 5 mins walk to the beautiful beach. Plenty to do around the area. Excellent places to eat within walking/driving distance. Would definitely recommend. Already booked for next year.

Lovely little cottage

On arrival, which was excellent on details on check in, I wasn't disappointed. Lovely and clean and all the added luxuries the cottage offered such as big bath and hot tub made it special. Loved also lighting the fire place at night times. Very cosy and great location especially in short reach of the beautiful beach. Highly recommend. love gone I to restoring the property.

Short break

We had a lovely stay. Everything we needed was provided. We forgot a tea towel but bought one so if 1 had been available it would be helpful but that was our fault! The hot tub was a teat as we missed ours after moving up from Essex! It needed hovering as it had sand in it. Beds were comfy. Bed linen hadnt been ironed but i guess thats a preference and much nicer to get into a fresh bed with. Overall we had a great few days and nice walks on the beach with our dogs. Thank you.

Great Location

Beautiful, quirky property. All contact with Victoria was excellent. The location was superb, a 5 minute walk to the beach and the pub. The hot tub was lovely and to top it off Victoria left us a card and bottle of Prosecco for oor anniversaty. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location beautiful cottage everything was near by including the nice sandy beach. We had dinna at the pub (poachers pocket) which is only down the road. Beautiful place will definitely be back

Great mini break

Really lovely property, had what we needed and in a great location to the beach and short walk to local play area, shop and cafe. Great little garden for the kids and dog to play with the added addition of the hot tub. We loved our stay wished we could have stayed longer!

Great base for exploring North Norfolk

The property itself was clean and nicely decorated. It was perfect for us and our two children under 10. I think for older kids it would be a little too small as the landing bedroom for the kids was very small and no wardrobe in there and older kids may not like staying with siblings but ours loved sharing a small room! The garden is lovely and lots of seating out there and the hot tub is a lovely addition after a day out. The beach in bacton is about 5 mins walk away and down a very quiet road with not much passing traffic so perfect walk down to the beach. It’s located close to all the attractions and other towns and villages in the area so perfect for exploring. Overall a perfect and cosy cottage for a few nights

Mini Family Break

The cottage was beautifully presented and clean throughout. Especially appreciated the the gate at the top of the stairs to prevent little one having accidents. The cottage is in a great location and easy to locate. The owners were helpful and provided travel cot and bed guard ahead of time. Hot tub was a lovely addition to the holiday. Would definitely recommend.

We chose this property as we loved what we could do it it to take it back to its original features and introduce a modern twist.

We also use to holiday in the area as children and being in the area brings back fond memories.
