About this property

Stunning Coastal home only 2min walk to Beach at Wittering, 10min walk to shops

The house is situated in West Wittering and the village of East Wittering is only a 10 min walk/3 min drive away.

The house has recently been refurbished to a very high standard, it is light and airy with underfloor heating, a log burner, integral Sonos sound system, 4K TV and lots of kitchen gadgets including a Quooker Tap, Drinks Fridge and Neff Coffee machine, fridge freezer and plate warmers .

There is also a kayak and various sized children’s and adults life jackets for you to use free of charge.
All users of the kayak must wear a life jacket.

East wittering village has many shops providing a variety of local provisions including 2 traditional green-grocers, 2 butchers, 2 bakeries, 2 supermarkets along with a variety of cafes, takeaways and restaurants. There is a shingle beach at the end of our road (2min walk!) and West Wittering Blue Flag beach is only a 5 minute drive away (20 min walk) and East Head Nature reserve with miles of white sandy beach and dunes is easily accessible too.

There are a wide range of watersports facilities at 2XS situated at West Wittering Beach, these including windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, paddle-boarding. The West Wittering car park also has a shop and café and enables you to gain easy access to the East Head nature reserve.

Sailing facilities can be found at Chichester Marina, Itchenor SC, Bosham SC and Apuldrum SC. Cobnor activity centre in Chidham also has a great kids activity program.

There is also good Bird watching at the RSPB Medmerry nature reserve near Earnley.

Nestled in the South Downs National Park, Goodwood is only 11 miles away and holds the world famous Festival of Speed and Revival along with several horse racing fixtures including 'Glorious' Goodwood. The historic walled city of Chichester is 8 miles away with its stunning cathedral, theatre, cinema, excellent shops and a direct train service from London to Victoria (85 minutes). Drive East on the A27 and you will find Arundel with its Castle and Brighton beyond. To the West is Portsmouth with its historic dockyard and outlet shopping at Gunwharf Quays

Great location and house for a family holiday

A wonderful spacious house which was ideal for our extended family holiday which included four children under 4 and a dog. Lovely garden and terrace which was in full sun during the day and plenty of room for the little ones to play. The host Esther was always available if needed.

Stunning property beautifully decorated and well cared for. The kitchen had large sliding doors that lead out on to the lovely very private garden with plenty of seating area everywhere inside and outside. Esther had great attention to detail for all those things you may need for your holiday and she has made the house feel contemporary but warm and comfortable at the same time. Gorgeous place, everything you could wish for and once again (this was not our first stay!) the weather played ball and made the short break seem like a long, wonderful holiday. The perfect house in the perfect location

We booked the house for our family reunion and had the perfect week at this beautiful house. Esther the host was very responsive with communication before we flew in from USA and had left us some food and drinks after our long flight in which was generous touch. The house is beatiful with lots of rooms and space for us all. Its in great location right next to the beach and lovey walk nto the town..The town itself is perfext it had so many great shops. For food and drinks. And Chichester is a shirt drive away. We would highly recommend this house for laege familie, it is well stocked with lots of kitchenequipmentand we hope to sttay thre agon nexr Winter. .

We all love the Witterings, we windsurf, surf, sail, boogie board, cycle, skate board, dog walk and build sandcastles!
This is also a great place to relax, read and get creative too, pick up some driftwood and see what you can make!
So many happy memories are made at this house it’s a wonderful place to be.

Why they chose this property

This wonderful seaside house is very close to the beach and local shops/ amenities. It has plenty of secure off street parking.
The private enclosed landscaped garden is perfect for relaxing and safe for children & dogs. We love walking into East Wittering village and buying amazing food from the many independent shops, it is a very special place.

What makes this property unique

This house is open plan with wonderful floor to ceiling glass sliding doors that are west facing, perfect for entertaining friends and family. It is newly renovated, stylish modern home offering luxury and comfort with every attention to detail.
