Marine Cottage is a detached, three-storey cottage in the town of Salcombe. The cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms which are made up of one double with an en-suite and one second floor room with double sofa bed with en-suite which has panoramic estuary views, and two twin rooms. There is also a bathroom, a ground floor cloakroom, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with a patio and furniture. Marine Cottage is a wonderful house offering excellent accommodation in a delightful location at any time of year. Please note: Residential family bookings only.

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip?
