The nearest farm in England to France, known during the war as ‘Front Line Farm’ plays host to this selection of cosy holiday cottages just a short walk to the picturesque beach of St.Margaret's Bay and village.

A private path leads to the White Cliffs where National Trust walks provide stunning views across the Channel to France.

Dover and its famous castle are within 5 miles,the pretty fishing town of Deal approx. 6 miles and historic Canterbury a 25 minute drive. London is only 1 hour away by train via the High Speed link from Dover and day trips to France are easy to arrange.

This corner of Kent is home to a range of activities for all the family with castles, historic houses, zoos, museums and beautiful beaches. With no less than 4 quality golf courses within a 20 minute drive the area is perfect for a coastal golf break.

Comfortable accommodation in peaceful location

We had a very relaxing stay in this lovely location enjoying peace and quiet, comfortable beds and so much to do in the surrounding area. The cottage is minutes from the costal path and breathtaking views across the English Channel. The accommodation is well equipped and had everything we needed and despite being terraced we experienced no neighbour noise. The host, James, was on site if required and was very friendly and helpful in the booking stage. Easy walk into the village where there is a shop and The Smugglers pub which serves delicious food - our best meal out! We had a very memorable holiday and highly recommend Reach Court Farm Cottages.

A true gem in rural Kent.

Having booked this at the last minute we were very impressed with what we found on our arrival. The photos don't really do this lovely cottage justice. The property was far larger than we expected with lovely light and airy rooms. Three spacious bedrooms, a double and twin upstairs sharing a nice bathroom and a further double downstairs with an en-suite. Downstairs there is a roomy sitting and dining area and a well equipped kitchen. The décor and furnishings were all in great condition and some have been replaced since the photos were last taken. The property itself is one of five units in a converted barn, set in the grounds of a small, historic farm just outside the village of St Margaret's at Cliffe. The village is an easy walk with two good pubs and a small shop. We would highly recommend a visit to the Coastguard on the front at St Margaret's Bay. Great food ! The cottage has access to lovely cliff top walks and is well located for Dover Castle. We also had a great day out in Deal. This was a super property for our family of 4 and we would definitely stay again. Our only slight niggle would be the slow internet, probably due to the rural location. Luckily the mobile service is quite good so it caused no real problems. If you are keen to explore this beautiful county and it's coastline, this would make a great base.

Nice cottage on a farm set back from the sea. James, the manager obliging and pleasant. Cottage is well equipped and pretty comfortable. Showers not too good but regular sized beds comfortable and lounge well furnished. Kitchen perfectly sound. Complex is being updated, although ours still has to be done.

Das Cottage war toll, war mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, bequeme Betten und auf jeder Etage ein Badezimmer. Wunderbar gelegen, an den White Cliffs , hier kann man tolle Landschaften erkunden. In St. Magrets Bay kann man lecker essen und an den Badestrand gehen. Wir sagen Danke für einen sehr schönen Urlaub!
