The cabin is fully stocked, cozy, newly remodeled, and sleeps up to 14 (4 bedrooms, 3 with 2 double beds, 1 with a single Queen bed). All beds and mattresses recently replaced! Stocked trout pond (4/2026) and creek on the property (1 acre). Huge Leather sectional/Leather Chairs. Two bathrooms, Dishwasher, Huge LG Fridge, LG Front Load Washer/Dryer, "70" Smart Streaming TV, Basic Cable, Fast Starlink Wifi for streaming/video calls, Blu Ray DVD player, Bluetooth Speaker for Phone/TV. Super close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Cozy wood-burning stove w/glass door, ample firewood included. Porch with pond, lawn, and mountain views. Weber Genesis propane grill, tank provided. Adirondack chairs and benches around pond. Good dogs stay free (2 max) Only charge for extra cleaning. NOTE: We also own and have available for rent the adjacent sunny 2BR/1BA cabin which sleeps 6 (2 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 hide-away couch bed). Please see VRBO property #711775 for details.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Turn down the heat to 50F (winter) or totally off (summer).
Close the blinds and curtains.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Do not play in the water in the pond or on the pond in the winter even if it seems frozen. Watch children at all times around the pond!!!
No extra charge for your dogs. However, we will charge at least $25/hour or incident, at our discretion, for extra cleaning required by your dogs.
RVs are not allowed on the property. They may not be parked or occupied. Town of Greer statute. Also, no camping or tents on the property.

We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy, well-stocked cabin. The hosts were incredibly kind and provided a propane fire pit due to fire restrictions, which made for relaxing evenings. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared, and the location was ideal just a short walk to coffee shop, restaurants, and hiking trails. Between the peaceful pond, spacious porch, and wood stove, it was the perfect mix of comfort and nature.

We booked this for a quick weekend skiing trip with the family and dog. This cabin was perfect - everyone was happy! Clean and comfortable (especially the beds) with updated appliances and nice newly remodeled bathrooms. We most definitely will stay here again.

Our stay was just great. We caught two fish and put them back. The only thing we could come up with that might be missing. It would be a clock in the bedroom. That’s all other than that. It was great. Highly recommended to anybody that wants to stay in Greer.

Greer Pond House

House was beautiful and as described. They did have a larger grill then whay was pictured so that was nice. The pond was great, but no one caught any. Great distance from the coffee shop and restaurant. House was very clean and perfect for a large group. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues.

Our family lives in Tucson but we have family roots back East. Chris is an avid cyclist, UTV rider and snow skier. Kate loves to ski too and is also an avid gardener, reader, and nature lover. Nick will fish from sunup to sundown if permitted. He will argue that we really bought the property in Greer for the trout pond. He loves to ski and play baseball. Elizabeth is an artist and her favorite thing about Greer is watching the dogs be free to run and play. We love our dogs Jazzy Winnie and the Boston Red Sox. Go Sox!

Why they chose this property

We have been visiting Greer for years and it has been a dream of ours to have our own place here. Now we have a home away from home in a beautiful place that is cool and green in the summer, has fantastic fall colors in autumn, is close to skiing in the winter, and has peace and quiet year round.
