Lovely location 10 mins walk to the centre. The bedrooms are great as are the bathrooms. Kitchen/ diner had everything we needed Air con in bedrooms very welcome as was the fan in the kitchen in 36 degree heat
My family and I had such a great experience in the apartment Spinetta Malaspina located in a really quiet neighborhood just a 5 minute walk over bridge from the tourist center of Verona. The apartment is so spacious with three large bedrooms and three bathrooms, two ensuite. The restored frescoes made the apartment so unique. There are so many great restaurants in the neighborhood including the absolutely incredible Cafe Carducci. The only negative is that there are no views out of the windows so it can feel a bit claustrophobic if spending a lot of time indoors, but who would?

Good space plan, listing not accurate
Parking is a nightmare, street only, and building construction has taken some of those away. The front door was unlocked all day long, providing no security into the building. The stairs and hallway are very dark and hard to see the door keypad. Interior of the apartment was nicely laid out but did not provide any 'hotel' bathroom amenities. The air conditioner was NOT adequate and all of the remotes for units were not accessible.
The location was good, about a 10-20 minute walk from most popular destinations.

Nice apartment but issues
The apartment is very nice and as advertised but the owner failed to mention its in a university area and that the building was under construction. There was a huge tarp over the building. We had issues with the air conditioner and were sent a photo of the weather report like that was supposed to convey its okay it the air doesn't work. We finally got someone to come and fix it. We also asked for more towels and we're told there is a EU 20 charge for more towels. When I said that was unacceptable, they brought them at no cost. If there comminuted these things up front it would not have been a problem. Nice place but I wouldn't stay there again.

The building is not under construction! There is "temporary" a scaffold outside due to a legal issue with the construction company who did the facade restoration and now just need to remove the scaffolding , (street facade only).
You wasn't able to operate independently the AC with the remote controll , (I admit it's a bit complicated if you are not confident with it you can't set it to fail, and that happened).
Weather forecast was send to explain you can't make cold (if AC in summer mode), if outside temperature is cooler than your requested indoor temperature. Outside temperature was 20 C , you could had just open the windows, to lower the temperature inside. However, me, the owner , came down at 8.30pm , to just RESET what you've messed up with the remote controllers.
As this is not an Hotel, but an apartment for short term rent, we do provide a single set of 3 towels for each quests, and not other services is inckuded in the price . This is why we asked money for extras.
At the end, you've stayed 2 hours at arrival unable to operate AC with lower temperature outside than inside, no construction works during the entire stay, got a free set of towels and a bottle of local red wine.
Amazing location and amenities... a little disappointed with the communication.
A very convenient and quiet location. a short walk to the main bustling city center and attractions. Three MASSIVE bedrooms, each with their own large bathroom and very clean and modern amenities. We were also surprised to find a washing machine to clean our clothes (which I don't think was listed at the time we booked the apartment).
The negatives (and this might sound nit-picky), and maybe we shouldn't expect many "extra's"... but the kitchen was very light on supplies: (from what I remember now) no bowls, not much in the way of cooking utensils... no salt, pepper... no broom to clean up some spilled rice. Just quite a lot of the very basics weren't there when we wanted to stay in a cook a simple meal. The second thing that we found difficult was communication. Before leaving we had great communication with the property manager and before leaving I specifically noted that I would only be able to communicate through the VRBO app (no access to email or phone to call). The three days leading up to checking in (after we were already in Italy) there was no communication at all... my questions were not being answered on the VRBO app. We had to eventually borrow a locals phone to use Whatsapp to call the property manager.
In the end everything worked out and the property manager was even able to help us coordinate a ride back to the train station (thank you!). I just want to warn other travellers to please make sure you have Whatsapp on your phone and data to use it with!
Although the owner was out of town while we were there, he called and there was good communication. Everything was as described, except access to the bicycles (since he was away). He offered to get them to us the next day, but we were going to the lake then. Bedrooms are very large; very nice bathrooms with showers. Kitchen was fully equipped. Everything was spotless. Cold drinks in the refrigerator were much appreciated. Wifi was good. Walking to the old town was simple. Taxis can drop you off there, but cannot stop to pick you up. You must walk to a taxi stand or call a taxi to a particular address on a street where they can stop, or go to a bus stop. We travel light, so it was not a problem. We would stay again and again! Nice frescoes revealed during renovation! Thanks, Giuseppe!

The apartment is as advertised, just 10 minute walk to the center of old town Verona.
We were two couples traveling together, and this apartment worked very well for our needs. There are separate bedrooms, one with a bathroom attached and another with a bathroom right next to the room in the hallway. The apartment is clean and well-stocked for cooking in a full kitchen if you so choose.
There are 4 bicycles available for you use, and they are in great shape...are you? Bike riding through Verona can be a very wonderful experience.
Thank you Giuseppe!

Fantastic!
Our overall experience was wonderful! The place is very comfortable, extremely clean, and very well updated! It was very easy to coordinate with the owner for check-in, and any questions we have. It was also a short walk to old town. I highly recommend this place to stay when you visit Verona. We will certainly be a guest again next year when we return for work.
