Slice Of Heaven

Nice property 5 minutes from the stunning lake with superstar hosts that will do anything to make your stay pleasant, oh yeah and Blackie the dog my new best friend. You will feel comfortable immediately as the people associated with this little piece of heaven will treat you as family, not just a tagline they are the real thing. I cannot wait to go back and spend an entire Summer there. This is a difficult place to leave. You do need a car.

Wir haben zwei Wochen im Sommer hier verbracht. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch und herzlich. Die Küche ist allerdings sehr klein, aber für uns hat es gereicht. Wir haben die Lage als guten Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zum und um den See empfunden. Wir können Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Voor ons was het appartement een tussenstop van twee nachten op weg naar een week in Piedmonte. Ideaal. Goed geslapen, een goede keuken om te koken en het Lago vlakbij. Onze tip is het strandje bij het Centro Eventi in Intra waar je heerlijk kan zwemmen. En natuurlijk ‘s avonds ijsjes eten in Intra.

Einer der schönsten Urlaube den wir hatten

Die Vermieterin hat und sehr herzlich empfangen und hat uns direkt persönlich die Wohnung gezeigt. Diese hat unsere Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen. Die Lage des Objektes ist ein Traum. Das Haus ist von der Straße aus gesehen zurückversetzt in 2. Reihe. Dadurch ist es sehr ruhig und man bekommt von den wenigen Fahrzeugen die durch den Ort fahren fast gar nichts mehr mit. Vom Hof aus hat man ein kleines Stück Seesicht. Parken darf man direkt am Haus auf dem Hof. Der Garten darf nach Bedarf mitbenutzt werden. Wer sich selbst verpflegen will, sollte in der nächsten größeren Stadt einkaufen. Es gibt nur eine kleine Bäckerei im Ort, aber selbst diese ist ohne Auto nur mit zeitlichem Aufwand zu erreichen und die Straßen in Italien sind gefährlich für Fußgänger und/oder Radfahrer. Die Vermieterin und auch die anderen Familienmitglieder haben immer wieder nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, ob alles läuft (TV/Internet). Insgesamt gesehen konnten wir unseren Urlaub sehr genießen. Wir wünschen der Vermieterin und ihrer Familie alles Gute. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Italienischkenntnisse empfehlenswert

Große aber recht einfach bestückte Wohnung, kein Seeblick. Anders als angegeben spricht die Vermieterin nur italienisch, Kommunikation daher ohne Italienischkenntnisse schwierig und bei uns nur per e-mail möglich, da sie selten anwesend war. Frische Handtücher gab es nach 1 Woche erst auf Anfrage, kleine Probleme wie Stromausfall oder Heizung anstellen wurden allerdings prompt erledigt. Mit größeren Autos hat man ein Wendeproblem auf dem Grundstück, es gab aber an der Straße einige wenige Parkplätze. Das angekündigte Hundegebell hielt sich bei uns in Grenzen. Gute Ausgangslage für schöne Wanderungen.

Wir hatten andere Vorstellung der Unterkunft. Für Mountainbiker und Wanderer sicher geeignet. Wir dachten die Nähe zum See wäre besser. Die Unterkunft zu finden war in strömendem Regen schwer oben in den Bergen über enge Gassen. Die Söhne der Eigentümerin waren sehr zuvorkommend trotz nur Italienisch sprechend. Wir sind am selben Tag wieder abgereist und haben uns ein Hotel direkt am See gesucht.

Dieses Jahr hatte es leider viele Stechmücken am See, so dass wir leider den Aussenbereich nicht nutzen konnten. Am Anfang war aufgrund eines Unwetters die Antenne kaputt. Auf unsern Hinweis wurde es aber nach 3 Tagen repariert.

Bon endroit pour séjourner

Bien placé à 30 minutes de Stressa et avec une plage publique super à 8 minutes en voiture. Équipement complet. Il manque juste quelques condiments et savons bien pratiques quand on fait un séjour à l'étranger.

Wir genossen die Zeit in Carpiano sehr, auch wenn es am ersten Tag etwas kalt in der Wohnung war. Doch die Heizung funktionierte dann tadellos. Geräumige Wohnung. In der Natur und doch nahe beim See und dem Zentrum Intra. Auch unseren Kindern gefiel es sehr. Danke Lucia für all die kleinen Hilfen.

Lovely house, very accommodating host.

We enjoyed an excellent stay at Maria Lucia's, which constitutes the ground floor of her two-storey house. It is within convenient distance of Verbania Intra in a relatively quiet neighbourhood, though there are the seemingly ubiquitous Italian Morning Dogs. The house is reasonably well equipped (washing machine, shower, bath, travel cot, fan, wifi, good shutters...), but if you are intent on doing ambitious self-catering you might have to be imaginative with your use of kitchen implements! Maria Lucia is a kind and gracious host.

Très bel endroit!

La maison est fidèle aux descriptions, elle est spacieuse, il y a de la place pour 6 personnes, l'endroit est calme, entouré de vert, mais tout proche des centres touristiques. Situation idéale! Lucia est très gentille et nous a très bien accueilli. Un grand merci encore pour les fleurs!
