The host was quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay and the home comfortably slept 7 adults on our trip. We would definitely stay again as the location to downtown Asheville was perfect!
An absolutely beautiful home. Well stocked and perfect for a week in Asheville. The morning sunrise was gorgeous and nights by the fire pit perfect! This house has everything you need to include comfortable beds and great linens.
Wonderful, clean, well-appointed property. Very private setting. We loved the stunning sunrises and sunsets from the deck. Our family had a terrific time.
This rental was everything our group needed and more. Super close to downtown Asheville while still providing some relaxing isolation. Would definitely stay here again!
This was a very nice location with everything essential already here. The grill and firepit were awesome to have and the interior was very clean and spacious!
The home was beautiful and very accommodating. It was super clean, and we enjoyed all the extra linens that were provided. Steve and Louise are great host and made us feel very welcomed. I highly recommend this place for families to stay.
We stayed at this property for 3 weeks. Great location, close to everything you might need for a nice vacation. The house was super clean and the host was very responsive. We would definitely recommend this house for camilies with children.

Myself and some girlfriends just finished up a bachelorette trip staying at this absolutely beautiful property, and I cannot recommend it enough! The property was extremely clean, spacious, and the views were beautiful. The location was also awesome to get to downtown, but so nice and quiet to escape to! Definitely would recommend!
This cabin is just what me and my friends were looking for. The cabin was beautiful with an even better view. The hosts were very hospitable and offered recommendations for food, drinks, and activities. The cabin was very clean when we arrived and the check-in/out process was seamless. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this cabin to anyone.
Excellent stay, beautiful location, great accommodations.
Great location near the Folk Art Center. Just 10 -12 minutes drive or Uber from downtown Asheville with scenic views and the privacy that seems as though you’re far out in the countryside. Immaculate, and well appointed, with wooded mountain views from the expansive back porch. A truly relaxing and comfortable place.
Our stay was nothing short of perfect! The house was beautiful, clean and close to groceries and gas. The view from the back porch was breathtaking! We even got to see a black bear one morning! We enjoyed our stay at the house and Asheville. Would definitely stay here again!
The house is beautiful and has a short walking trail outback! They have a pack n play and highchair, perfect for little kids. It was a fun trip! The communication with the host was great!
What a lovely home, beautiful location, nestled in the mountains yet just a short drive to everything important.
Was equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this vacation home!
We hope to return next year.
The hosts for the property have done an incredible job at pulling everything together to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The location is excellent, just a short drive from Asheville as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway. Wonderful home that is well laid out with a front porch that provides an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. We will stay there again if the opportunity presents itself with out question.

About the host
Hosted by Steve and Louise
We bought this farm in 2010 and finished building our first vacation rental September 2013. We have enjoyed welcoming guests so much that we decided to build a second rental in 2015! Having a farm with a vacation rental has long been a dream of ours. We have a small herd of French Alpine dairy goats and plenty of chickens at our home on the other side of the property.
Why they chose this property
I have lived in Asheville since 1992 (except a 5 year stint in Seattle for school). I never get tired of this place. This small city has so much to offer. It is always changing and morphing which suits our family perfectly! As far as this property goes, we found it after a 5 year hunt for the right piece of land. It is a large parcel of land incredibly close to everything...not something that is easily found around here (hence the 5 year search). I love living in this area, and I think you will love staying here too!
What makes this property unique
This property is unique because you have access to beautiful spaces indoors and out. You also have access to woods and meadows, trees and views. It just depends where you decide to spend your time while you are here.
This house is also unique because it is situated on a farm, yet it so close to downtown Asheville and Biltmore Village. There are very few properties that can boast this fact. Most larger tracts are much further away or on steep land. This land is rolling and great for exploring.
Also, our land virtually backs up onto the Blue Ridge Parkway land. The car entrance to the Parkway is only about 2 miles away and is the entrance where the Folk Art Center is. This is a great place to visit while you are here.
There are hiking trails both on the Parkway and at Warren Wilson College, which is only a few short miles away. We also have some short trails here on the property.
