Our stay was incredible! Jim and Barb have truly created a beautiful retreat! Our family had the best week celebrating Spring Break! Should we return to the Asheville area, I will definitely check if this place has availability.

Best compliment is the fact that you will return! Thank you.
They thought of everything! I really appreciated all the little things that were done to make the stay more convenient, e.g. fully stocked kitchen, clear instructions for literally everything, nalgene water bottles to pack for hiking, half and half for coffee in the fridge, a bidet on every toilet and yoga mats in the closet. We had rainy weather all weekend so didn't get to hike as much as I wanted, but we had a great time just hanging out enjoying this home.

So sorry you had rain and hope you can come back again. Glad you enjoyed the amenities of the home!
This is house perfect, everything you could want and then some. Immaculate, stunning views and close to downtown. Best hosts too!!! I'm so glad I choose this house to celebrate my 60th with some of the best people .
The house is as described with beautiful view into trees and birdlife. Everything is very clean and all that one could potentially need is available. Also the location is great for Ashville and mountain trips.

This was such a wonderful last minute booking. Wonderful family who took great care of the house and were awesome to meet!
If we could give them 10 stars we would! Jim & Barb have literally thought of everything. Every detail of their home is well thought out with the traveler in mind. The views are stunning, the inside and outside of the home are meticulously planned and curated for not just travelers to enjoy, but animals in nature as well. Their app is so helpful in helping plan your stay while enjoying some adventures along the way. Jim & Barb were extremely communicative and honestly the best hosts I’ve ever had. We will absolutely be coming back!

It looks like you did give us 10 stars :) and we are so happy you enjoyed all the amenities and the nature. We hope you return!
I don’t know how to fully explain how wonderful this place is. Suffice it to say I have zero complaints or concerns, and that’s never been completely the case with anywhere I’ve ever stayed! I can’t even choose my favorite thing— perhaps it’s the sense of being up in the trees from every vantage point in the house. Perhaps it’s the ease with which you can get almost anywhere, including the Blue Ridge Parkway with its breathtaking views and variety of hikes, downtown Asheville, Weaverville, the Folk Art Center, etc. Perhaps it’s the responsiveness of the hosts, or the pristine condition of the house. Or maybe all of the above. I would choose this place anytime I return to Asheville!

I love this review and I would love to host Deb again!
Great home, well equipped with everything you need, beautiful peaceful neighborhood surrounded by nature. Super clean and super organized. Very responsive hosts. My only critique would be the main level furniture (couch, kitchen table & chairs…) is not very comfortable at all (IKEA) so after a while your back will start to ache. I couldn’t even fit my legs under the kitchen table comfortably. (I’m 5’10”) We ended up piling in the master bedroom king sized bed to watch a movie in the evening because the seating downstairs was not conducive to lounging.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and we’re grateful for the support we’ve received—over the past 7 years, with 500 reviews across multiple platforms and a perfect rating overall. We’re sorry it wasn’t a good fit for you.”
We had a fantastic stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The hosts could not have thought of another thing that might be needed to make our stay more enjoyable. The space was beautifully maintained, with cozy furnishings and great natural light that made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect: close enough to downtown Asheville, restaurants, and breweries, yet quiet and peaceful at night. We especially appreciated how easy it was to explore nearby hiking, scenic drives, and local attractions, then come back and unwind in such a comfortable setting. The host was responsive, professional, and proactive, making check-in and communication completely seamless. Little touches throughout the home showed genuine care for our comfort. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Asheville—whether for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. A wonderful experience all around!

Kenny and his family were a pleasure to host and we are looking forward to a return visit next October!!
The host had though about everything a visitor could possibly need. The kitchen was eell-equioped with utensils, spices, and condiments. Even food storage sheds. Kids loved the hot tub and the bathrooms with Biden. Everything was exceptionally clean and well organized. We will certainly stay here again when we visit Asheville

The home is extremely clean, has everything you could possibly need (seriously everything you could possibly think of!), and is very close to all Asheville attractions. The homeowners are very kind and offered great advice regarding restaurants, hikes, attractions, etc. The best part of the home is the Mountain View. The screened porch is where we spent our down time. The views are amazing! I look forward to returning!
We had a great time, the home is very equipped with anything you need and property managers are very helpful!
