Rustic challet
Good communication with the owners. Cabin style home with great hot tub and patio area. Tranquil setting. Not far from the town of Ashville. Light in the bedrooms isn't very strong and a few more mirrors could be added. Lovely and enjoyable stay!

Delightful stay
This is a great place to stay. It was clean and beautiful inside. The owners really put in extra effort to make sure everything we needed was available. The landscaping was above and beyond with a waterfall and a fish pond. Location to Asheville was really close.

Comfy Cabin
Log cabin was clean & well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub & big front porch. Loft is filled with toys that are tempting to children,, but guest book says not to use them?? Location was good, beds were comfy. Rain let us indoors too much, but still - a very nice place to stay.

Great Property and Location
This home is close to everything but still feels like it is out of town. We enjoyed the nice extras with the fire pit and waterfall. We would definitely stay here again. The host was responsive and helpful.

Sisters Get Away
This was a wonderful cabin close to downtown Asheville. The beds were very comfy and the hot tub was WONDERFUL! We stayed in the fall so the house was a comfortable temperature. It might get really warm in the summer and there weren’t any screens on the windows. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Dan and Stacey love to travel and enjoy the outdoors. Stacey is a real estate agent and loves art, hiking and sailing. Dan is a musician and landscaper. He enjoys travelling, hiking and music.

Why they chose this property

Dan and Stacey wanted a home that was unique and very private. When they were shown the log cabin they new that this was to be there nature escape. Over the years they have invested a lot of time and energy to make the cabin into what it is today. It is always reassuring when friends and family have such a wonderful feeling when they step onto the property.

What makes this property unique

The cabin has many wonderful features that help a person to escape from the stresses of life. The property itself is over an acre and has plenty of privacy from the neighbors. We love the "country" feel but enjoy the benefits of being so close to the city.

The cabin has two very large decks for relaxing. The front deck is very large and is covered to protect you from the elements. The back deck is also very large and has 3 areas to enjoy. One end of the deck has the hot tub, the middle area of the deck has a pergola with a seating area that is covered by a wisteria for shade. The other end of the deck has a patio table with four chairs.

The back deck overlooks the water feature with a large waterfall and pond. The pond consists of lily pads, frogs and fish. During the summer nights you can hear the frogs croaking while sitting outside.

Near the pond there is a fire pit for nighttime enjoyment. You are welcome to bring your own wood and smores.
