Romantic historical residence with large panoramic terrace and breathtaking sunsets

In a 17th century building, the property, which is accessed through a suggestive entrance, is enhanced by a large, furnished level terrace which opens onto the wide valley overlooked by Spoleto, Assisi, Bastia Umbra, Bevagna, Castel Ritaldi , Trevi, Montefalco and Perugia.
The residence, whose vaulted ceilings give romantic and welcoming atmospheres, is embellished with refined furnishings, is characterized by a large and particular colonnaded lounge with double sofa bed, dining table, open kitchen equipped with everything needed for a quality culinary 'do it yourself' (dishwasher, microwave and electric oven) which gives direct access to the terrace. A large double bedroom and a bathroom with shower complete the charming offer.
Outside there is also a small laundry room with sink and washing machine.
We are eco-friendly ... At Belvedere the electricity is 100% from renewable sources! :-)

The apartment was everything we expected, lots of character with beautiful views. Unfortunately because of the time of year we were there, we didn’t take advantage of the patio due to the temps being low. Our host Manuela went above and beyond looking after us. My wife unfortunately got sick during our stay there and Manuela dropped off homemade soup, that was delicious. Not the only thoughtful thing she did for us. We loved Spello and all it had to offer and the apartment was a treat to come back to every day.

AMAZING STAY!

Honestly we were so happy with our stay in this gorgeous home in Spello. I have no doubt that if we return to Italy, we will return to Spello and hopefully stay here again. The view from the patio was unreal and the accommodation itself was very charming. Our check in process was great, the host was so lovely with showing us around and getting us settled in. We could not recommend this stay enough.

A charming hidden gem...put this on your MUST STAY list!

I'm having trouble finding the words to describe our stay! The location is breathtaking, the residence was so full of history and charm. Manuela had everything you could ask for to have the perfect stay. She was also a wealth of information about the area, where to eat, shop, explore. The view...amazing. We will definitely be back!

Lovely Stay in Spello

This is a nicely located accommodation near a number of historic buildings, the Medievel city wall, the Roman acqueduct, and several monasteries. The views from the house and garden were breath taking. The furnishings were very comfortable and interesting with an artisitic flare. There was lots of room, while quiet and private, yet conveniently located. We would love to return here on our next trip to Spello..

The appartment was perfectly located - on the edge of Spello, so very quiet, but within a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. The appartment was full of character and the view high up from the terrace was spectacular. Perfect for a leisurely brunch. Manuela met us on arrival and gave us a very wsrm welcome and provided helpful information about our accommodation and Spello. She was excellent at communicating with us before and during our stay. Spello is a really beautiful place - a real gem, and a great centre for exploring the local area. Assisi is a short drive away (go early to avoid the crowds) and there are spectacular views from Mount Subasio, good walking too. We would happily return. Thank you Manuela.

Fabulous location , beautiful terrace

I can’t recommend this property enough! The location is perfect. Very safe. We slept like babies. The terrace is beautiful. Everything you need is there in the apartment. The people of Spello are so welcoming. You won’t regret your stay here. We had a 2 year old with us and it was very comfortable and convenient.

The right spot

I’m quite picky when I choose places. This was a good pick. There is plenty of space, the outdoor area is perfect, the location was superb. The bathroom is small, but so was every bathroom that we stayed in while in Italy, even high end hotels. Manuela, so kindly met us late at night to show us our accommodation and made sure that all of our questions were answered. I hope to go back.

Wonderful property, beautiful town, great host

This was a wonderful place to stay. The property was really well presented, has wonderful views, clean, quiet and has everything you could need. The location well positioned to explore Spello and also access our car. There was free car parking close to the property outside the ZTL. The host, Manuela, made us feel so welcome. She was friendly, helpful, very responsive and provided great information to get the most out of our visit. Manuela even invited to participate in the petal picking with the locals in preparation for Infiorata (Festival of Flowers). We definitely recommend.

Loved Apartment and Spello

This apartment was our Umbrian home for 12 nights. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The beautiful terrace was appreciated and enjoyed! Cool haven in the beautiful village of Spello

We enjoyed our stay in Manuela’s apartment. Spello had a heat wave while staying so we enjoyed the cool provided by the ancient metre thick walls. Apartment is very comfortable with all amenities and lovely terrace outlook. Spello is a lovely cared for village with a mix of restaurants and wine bars. Felt very at home. Enchanting Medieval Village

Perfect location at the top of the village with amazing views. Hostess Manuela was friendly with brilliant English and a great sense of humour. Due to thickness of the walls the rooms were cool even in the 40oC heat. A fan would be useful for that excessive temperature to ensure circulation of air. Terrace has afternoon sun so is hot. Love Spello and it’s inhabitants. Great place to stay
