My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house has everything you could possibly need and the gardens are so lovely. Plenty of different places to sit and hang out. We felt very much at home here and didn't feel the need to go out all the time. We had some mixed weather during our stay and enjoyed cooking some homemade meals and watching the French Open! Jean-Pierre is a lovely host and was always on hand to help with any enquires.

A Perfect Place to Stay Outside the City!

We are visitors from Canada. Located in a small village just outside La Rochelle and just a 15-minute (+/-) drive to the downtown tourist area of Port La Rochelle. It’s perfect for those who like to be out-of-the-action but close enough to the hotspots when wanted. This home met ALL of our needs for the 3 weeks we stayed here! The gardens are enchanting with plenty room to relax or entertain. The kitchen is galley-styled with all the cutlery, plates, pots, pans etc. you’ll need. The bedrooms are well appointed and spacious with adequate closet space. Onsite parking for two cars. A few things to know; Visitors from Canada 1. There is no air conditioning … but fans are provided throughout. 2. The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are steep. Sheets/pillowcases aren’t normally supplied. 3. Rental Contract requires with a damage deposit and, cleaning fee. Both are refundable if you return the property undamaged and in the same state of cleanliness as you received it… The Landlord, is wonderful! – he’s pleasant, engaging and eager to please. We always felt he had our comfort in mind and responded immediately if we had questions. He’s just across the street from the rental property if you need him. We had all the comforts of home to make our own meals and laundry in a home that is well presented and looked after. THIS WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND WE WERE VERY SATISIFED. WE WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN FOR SURE!

Je rijdt de straat in en ziet de woning en krijgt meteen een wowgevoel.Als je de woning binnen gaat dat neemt het wow gevoel alleen maar toe!Bij het zien van de tuin wordt het wow gevoel heel erg intens.Gewoon geweldig. Fantastisch ingericht en genoeg zit plaatsten. Wil je in de zon zitten dan kan dat. Wil je in de schaduw zitten dan kan dat. Echt geweldig en rustgevend.Elke dag ontdekten wij weer eens iets nieuw in de woning, geweldig gedaan.En Jean-Pierre was gewoon heel tof.

Vacances en famille sur la région de La Rochelle.L’hébergement est conforme à l’annonce et situé dans un lieu paisible. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la maison de M.Bareau et avons eu à disposition tout le nécessaire de la vie courante. Le jardin est superbe tant au niveau de la végétation que de la décoration. Nous avons pu déguster les tomates et herbes aromatiques du potager. Een prima huis waar alles is wat je nodig hebt. En met een geweldige tuin! Een paradijsje om tot rust te komen! Een hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar. Fijne communicatie.Prachtige omgeving om te fietsen in alle rust en toch maar 5 km van la Rochelle.Een toplocatie waar we graag terugkomen.

Großartig

Dieses Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Genau wie in der Beschreibung angegeben, liegt es in einem kleinen Dorf unweit von La Rochelle. Touristentrubel, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Strand, binnen ca. 15 Autominuten erreicht man, wonach einem der Sinn steht. Damit eignet sich dieses sehr charmante Haus prima als Ausgangspunkt für allerlei Unternehmungen. Der wundervolle Garten mit vielen sonnigen und schattigen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten, einem kleinen Kräuter und Gemüsegärtchen und vielen farbenfrohen Hibisken, lädt ein, erholsame Stunden dort zu verbringen und die Ruhe zu genießen. Vor allem auf den beiden überdachten Terrassen haben wir viele entspannte Stunden verbracht. Wer gerne kocht, findet in der kleinen aber voll ausgestatteten Küche zudem alles was das Herz begehrt. Insgesamt ist dieses Haus in einem sehr gepflegten und tadellosen Zustand und damit uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Auch der Kontakt zu Monsieur Bareaud, dem Vermieter, ist unkompliziert und ausnehmend freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben 3 sehr schöne und erholsame Wochen in dem Haus verbracht und kommen gerne wieder.

Kleines Paradies

Wir hatten zwei wunderbare Wochen in diesem bezaubernden Ferienhaus. Der Gastgeber und seine Schwester waren sehr herzlich und haben sich bereits im Vorfeld sehr lieb um uns gekümmert. Einen besseren Gastgeber hatten wir in Frankreich noch nie. Auch hatten wir in Frankreich noch nie so ein perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Küche: Obwohl sie klein ist, bietet sie eine riesige Auswahl an Küchenzubehör. Selbst zu Hause haben wir nicht so viel Küchenutensilien. Einfach nur großartig! Auch waren wir sehr überrascht über die Betten. Noch nie zuvor hatten wir in einem Ferienhaus so bequeme Matratzen. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus nur jedem weiterempfehlen, der in dieser Region seinen Urlaub verbringen möchte. Etwas Vergleichbares wird man kaum finden. Wir sagen nochmals vielen Dank für alles!

Wer in dieser Gegend eine wirklich schöne Bleibe sucht, sollte sich dieses Haus nicht entgehen lassen. Ein wunderschöner Garten mit kleinen und großen Blumenwundern, ein Haus voller persönlicher Gegenstände,fast ein wenig mystisch, und hervorragend ausgestattet. Da fehlt nichts. Es gibt,und das ist wichtig in Frankreich, einen eigenen Parkplatz,eine Spülmaschine, eine Waschmaschine und sogar einen Trockner.Jean Pierre wirkt im Vorfeld ein wenig pedantisch, fast sperrig, was dem Umstand geschuldet ist, daß er, und völlig zu Recht, besorgt um sein Haus ist, das ja kein einfaches Ferienhaus ist, sondern auch, wenn es nicht vermietet ist, sein persönliches zu Hause. Hat man ihn einmal kennen gelernt, ist er ein in jeder Hinsicht zuvorkommender, hilfsbereiter, sympathischer und auch sehr gebildeter und kluger Gastgeber. Eien sehr empfehlenswerte Adresse. Noch ein praktischer Hinweis: klären Sie vorher ab, ob die Bett-und Toilettenwäsche gestellt wird. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit Dem Gebotenen und würden das Haus jedrzeit noch einmal anmieten

Wir hatten sehr schöne Zeit in dem Haus. Es ist wirklich bestens ausgestattet. Der Garten ist traumhaft schön und liebevoll angelegt, sodass man auch hier gerne seine Zeit verbringt. Der Gastgeber war sehr bemüht und stets gut erreichbar.

Tres belle location avec un jardin magnifiquement entretenu par son propriétaire, extrêmement agreable pour de belles soirées d ete sans vis a vis au calme absolu. 2 belles terrasses équipées de pergolas permettent de manger par tous temps dehors. Super netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Garten ist super schön und gepflegt. Viele verschiedene Sitzecken und Liegen laden zum ausruhen und erholen ein. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und werden sicher wiederkommen.

Très agréable séjour à Nieul-sur-Mer

Maison très agréable, bien équipée, au calme. Coin jardin très cosy, avec des salons de jardin qui nous ont permis de passer d'agréables moments. Maison bien située pour découvrir la région (La Rochelle et son centre historique vraiment joli (ne pas rater l'aquarium), un sentier côtier entre Lauzières et la pointe saint Clément qui offre de très beaux panoramas sur la baie d'Aiguillon, l'île de Ré et l'île d'Aix à proximité, le marais Poitevin pas très loin...). Je remercie le propriétaire pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. Je ne peux que recommander chaleureusement cette destination

Enchanteur !

Nous avons passé quatre semaines formidables dans cette maison merveilleuse en juillet et août 2017 et en gardons une profonde nostalgie. Nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à quitter cette maison tant elle devient très vite la sienne. L'intérieur est douillet et élégant. Rien ne manque. Le jardin est exceptionnel de tranquillité et de confort. On s'y sent protégé du monde entre la partie potager (où l'on peut cueillir fruits et légumes à loisir) et la partie repos très bien équipée et isolée. Le propriétaire, particulièrement accueillant, a toujours veillé au moindre détail, même quand il était lui-même en vacances. Bref, un séjour exceptionnel. Une astuce importante pour avoir accès directement aux meilleures plages : se rendre en voiture au pied du pont de l'île de Ré et emprunter la navette (à 1 euro !). Choisir cette location donne une envie irrésistible d'y retourner.

Une très jolie maison

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour sous le soleil et avons pu profiter au maximun de la terrasse et du salon extérieur, ainsi que du barbecue. La maison et le jardins sont organisés et décorés avec beaucoup de goût, ce qui ne fait que renforcer l'impression de calme et de sérénité. Une adresse à recommander et pour ma part, c'est déjà fait!

Un séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé 10 jours très agréable dans cette maison très confortable, décorée avec beaucoup de soin et de goût. Le jardin, lui même, agencé et décoré avec goût, apporte une grande quiétude. Le barbecue et les tomates cerises plantées à l'attention des vacanciers complètent agréablement le tableau.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 2 semaines dans cette adorable maison. Nous avons apprécier le calme qui y régnait. Le jardin est magnifique. On y trouve tous l'équipement souhaités. Et le propriétaire est vraiment très très accueillant et serviable. Vraiment, à conseiller pour vos vacances. A 10min du centre de La Rochelle. Et à 20min des plages de Chatelaillon.

Traumhaftes Haus mit sehr schönem Garten

Wir haben gerade 3 Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und reicht von W-Lan über Festnetztelefon bis zum Thermomix. Der Garten bietet zwei schöne Terassen, eine Grillecke und mehrer Liegeplätze, so dass jeder ein schattiges oder sonniges Eckchen findet. Das Haus war sehr sauber und alles funktionierte tadellos. Die Bilder von der Fewo-Seite waren wirklich realistisch, es war nichts geschönt. Der Vermieter spricht gut deutsch und war in allen Bereichen sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Haus liegt in einem sehr ruhigen Vorort von La Rochelle. In ca. 10 Minuten ist man per Auto im Stadtzentrum. Zum schönen Strand in Chatelaillon-Plage fährt man ca. 15 Minuten. Ausflüge zur Ile de Oleron oder zur Ile de Re runden das Bild ab. Wir können das Haus wirklich wärmstens empfehlen und waren sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

Une très jolie maison, bien située, sans vis-à-vis, calme, un beau jardin. Intérieur et extérieur très bien entretenus. Un intérieur décoré avec goût. Rien ne manque, tout est en très bon état et d'une propreté irréprochable. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour. Sans oublier l'accueil chaleureux du propriétaire.

UN NID DOUILLET.

Nous avons passé 10 jours, dans ce petit havre de paix, ce cocon chaleureux et tellement bien équipé. C'est un pur bonheur. Les photos sont tout à fait conformes à la réalité, la literie est excellente, la proprété est irréprochable, l'équipement est complet, l'agencement est très bien étudié et optimisé. Le jardin et les terrasses sont tellement agréables. Les salades du potager ont été vivements appréciées.Le barbecue est parfait. La quiétude est totale. La voiture est indispensable, il y a un espace juste devant la porte pour la garer. Il se peut que certains trouvent ce commentaire trop élogieux, et pourtant je confirme mes dires, cette maison est un délice. Merci à notre hôte pour sa gentillesse,sa disponilibité, son accueil très courtois et sympatique. C'est une location que je recommande vivement.
