The house was beautiful and very well kept. Everything flowed smoothly from check in, in home meals and other needs all the way to checkout. Great location for amazing sun rises and serene views. Ting was amazing!

Great Stay

Great property, as advertised. Main living area is not air conditioned but the floor to ceiling folding doors allow a great breeze to come in. On-site staff make it easy for any issues and good breakfast. Would definitely stay again when visiting Samui.

Fabulous Stay at Karpe Diem

Karpe Diem is a beautiful villa with a view that can’t be beat - the photos online come to life when you arrive! The indoor and outdoor spaces were spacious and comfortable for lounging with friends in both sun and shade and all of the amenities were terrific. The owner, property manager and staff were extremely kind and responsive and made both the booking and the vacation very easy. We were well taken care of and would highly recommend a stay at Karpe Diem.

Fabulous Villa

The villa was spectacular and catered for the family, giving everyone areas to come together and have their own space if needed. Loved every minute. Communication was also great and being provided breakfast by Tingza and Man was the icing on the cake. Thank you

Incredible service and accommodation through and through. Ms. Ting and Mr. Mann were fantastic, prepared excellent meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request. The massage therapists were accommodating to our schedules and we loved the convenience of having them come to the house. The pools were so enjoyable with impeccable views in every direction. Would highly recommend Villa Karpe Diem and we plan to return as soon as possible.

Born in London, and now lived and worked in 9 countries; my last postings being in Asia. We built this house as a future semi-retirement property, and as it happens are now based in the South of France, so do not get to use it as much as when based in Hong Kong.

We built it as a home, modern and tastefully decorated, and we are extremely pleased to have people experience something we created for ourselves, and to make their precious vacation times, memorable.

Why they chose this property

A private mountain, with a community of expat owners. A fabulous sea view bar and restaurant less than 2 mins walk from the villa. The mountain where the villa is situated is the most exclusive in Samui without doubt.

What makes this property unique

There has, over recent years, been a large uptick in new villas built on Samui for residential but primarily for the rental market. Land as on any small island is finite, and the vast majority of new villas recently constructed sit on tiny parcels of land, overlooked and overlooking neighbours, some of them so close you feel you can reach out and touch the adjacent property.

We bought the land on a private mountain where no further building is allowed, before this 'rush' and were able to secure almost 4, 000 sqm and are not overlooked on any side, and have unobstructed 180 degree sea views, and complete privacy.

When on vacation, I think that counts a lot.
