We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin! Great accessibility to the ski resort… a true ski in/ski out. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. The host was responsive with any questions. We love the beauty of Utah and can’t wait to return!
Totally loved our stay at Moosen Lodge! Its cozy mountain charm was exactly what these city folk were in need of. And the owner Tracey was only a text away. We can't wait to return to this ski in/ski out treasure.
Moosen Lodge is a cozy and comfortable home away from home, excellent location to ski in/ski out. Kitchen is fully stocked, beds and linens were super comfortable, living room was perfect to sit by the fire, watch movies, and play games after a day in the snow. Tracey was an excellent host who made sure we had all the info to make our stay great, will definitely stay again for future visits!

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We come quite often to enjoy Moosen Lodge and keep an eye on updating and replacing items as they wear. We love it here and want you too as well. The ski in ski out can’t be beat. Such a great escape!
We absolutely loved our stay at Moosen Lodge! Our host was always friendly and quick to respond. From start to finish, everything was a breeze. It was so convenient to be able to load/unload the car right outside of the condo's entrance. The condo feels like home with many thoughtful touches throughout (ample towels and linens, wall hooks to hang winter gear, plenty of outlets for charging devices). The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies, dishes and functional pots/pans. Moosen Lodge is truly ski in/out and so easy to reach the ski lifts without the hassle of driving and parking. The winter fun doesn't stop after the ski lifts close as you can walk right onto the slopes from the back deck for sleeding or building snow forts. Our family had so much fun and can't wait to return in the near future!

Wow! You truly made my day, week, month! Such kind words from wonderful guests. I am not sure which is more fun the sledding or the skiing. The fact that it is right out the back door makes it so easy to do both. Please come see us again!
The location was ideal. We have 2 young children, 8 and 5 years old. We were steps to 2 magic carpets and beginner runs. Our 8 year old was skiing the trees and my 5 year old needed a refresher but was skiing after a few runs. The condo is clean, beds were comfortable and everything you need is there for cooking meals. It has a lot of board games and nice TVs. We kept busy with the board games and never turned on the TVs. The fireplace was great and sledding was fun too. The owners were great and getting in was easy and parking was plentiful and close when loading and unloading. We highly recommend staying there.
Great play to stay in Brian Head! Comfortable for my entire family and very close to the Navajo lifts. Excellent communication from the host and would definitely stay again!
Great stay! Felt like a second home. It was very comfortable and conducive to a fun, family ski trip. Truly ski in/out. Back deck takes you to Pioneer lift, which is a green, as well as a larger bunny hill with magic carpet. 5min walk to the ski lodge. This is part of Navajo, which is the beginner mountain. Takes some time to get to Giant Steps, which is the intermediate/advanced mountain, which is all part of the fun of exploring the resort! There’s sledding too, for the kids after the slopes close, which was an unexpected surprise. Best part? I parked my car and had no need to get back in until it was time to leave. There’s a TV in the living room, but never needed to turn it on. We brought games and puzzles but there were games there too.

We are so glad to hear you and your family enjoyed the best we have to offer-cozy comfort and ski in out access! While you can walk to the Navajo lodge on a paved walkway the easiest way is to ski from our back door and be there in 2 minutes! With Giant Steps being interconnected to Navajo it is one chairlift (chairlift 4) and a back mountain run away to reach access to a more advanced level of skiing. Hope to see you all back soon!
What a gem of a place! We had such a great time at Moosen Lodge. Skiing off the back deck was perfect Tracey and Joe were super helpful and great to communicate with. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Brandy, Thanks for the awesome review! So glad you enjoyed skiing right out the back deck to the mountain. We are one of the very few true ski in/out property in Brian Head! Glad you found us and can’t wait to have you back. Don’t lose our number for the best savings!
My family and I stayed at this cabin in December and we absolutely loved it! The place was super clean and is located at a perfect spot on the mountain. The property owner was super responsive and the information she provided prior to the trip was very helpful especially since it was our first time to Brian Head.
Took the family to Brian Head for a family ski trip with my 4 and 2 year old and this place was PERFECT! Snow to play in right off the back balcony and a TRUE ski in/ski out location with the Navajo lift side of the mountain just outside the back door. Place was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you need, and communication with the owner was incredible. We will definitely be back!
This is a great property to stay at. We enjoyed the access to the slopes (literally out the back door), comfortable bedrooms, and fully furnished living space to be able to rest and recharge after long powder runs. Great vacation thanks to Moosen Lodge…and 18” of powder in three days!
great location to the lifts but also private enough away from them. hosts were very responsive and stocked the place with all the creature comforts - lots of blankets, humidifiers, and even snacks.
Been to Brian Head a handful of times but never had a ski in/out like this one. Sledding right outside for my kids, never had to fight for parking, came back in for lunch and breaks and it was a dream. Tracey was awesome and helpful and the cabin felt more like a home than a vacation rental. Highly recommend!!
Fantastic location to Navajo Lodge and the accommodations are very comfortable and unit comes with all the kitchen pots, pans, tools and gadgets for a great stay
We love this place! Condo is more charming and spacious than photos can show. Felt like home away from home. 2 adults and 3 teenagers and we were all very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the private patio with literally steps to the slopes! Can’t wait to Come back!

The perfect spot. Owners thought of everything. Great decor, fully equipped, quiet and cozy
We had an amazing time at this property. The location was perfect for getting to ski school for my kids, and just playing in the snow. The beds were comfy, kitchen was first rate, beautiful view, couldn't have asked for a better stay. I wish all Vrbo owners were as thoughtful and organized in planning a space for temporary renters. Will stay again for sure!!

Hi Susannah, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We tried to think of everything we would want for our family when we chose the location so near the ski school and the private sledding area on our property. We loved remodeling "Moosen Lodge" to bring it up to date but still giving it a rustic feel. I agree the views of the mountain thru the trees are breathtaking. Many don't know its great in the summer too and there is so much to do. If you are interested in hearing more give me a call and I can tell you all about it.
Warm Regards,
Tracey
This was a perfect rental in Brian Head. It had the cozy cabin ambiance we love after a day of skiing. The sledding on the property was a blast. The kitchen was very functional and the layout is great for a family. Host was very communicative and everything was as expected. Definitely recommend!
We've been to Brian Head a number of times and this was the best place we've stayed by far.
The location is perfect; right on the hill and true ski-in ski-out. The communication with Tracey was perfect and was a very gracious host. You can truly see the pride of ownership in condo with well-thought out amenities; everything was perfect. I will definitely go back to Moosen Lodge!
This was our first time visiting Brian Head and our stay at Moosen Lodge. Tracey was an amazing host from the time we booked through our stay communication was great! She really has thought of everything to make your stay feel like home and the location was fantastic. The beds were comfortable, towels nice quality and we had plenty of space. We are already talking about our next trip back to Brian Head and booking with Tracey.
You just can’t get any closer to the slopes. Amazing condo with an unbeatable location. We felt comfortable with all the amenities we’d find at home and the convenience of being on the mountain. I highly recommend Moosen Lodge!

About the host
Hosted by Tracey
This is our second home and we are excited to have you experience what made us fall in love with the area. We will be available via phone for any questions you may have. If any problems occur we have an onsite manager that we can put in touch with you if you need further assistance.
Why they chose this property
We looked at many homes and condominiums before choosing this one. We had rented here before and love that it is near everything yet secluded. The management team is top notch and maintenance of the few buildings is impeccable. We also like the idea that snow removal is maintained and firewood delivered directly to our front door. The ability to ski to our place and have lunch or cocoa was something we had only dreamed of until staying here. When we can ski, sled and snowmobile outside our front door we envisioned this as a place our family would continue to gather even after the children have grown. Here's hoping!
What makes this property unique
We feel fortunate that is is so quiet and you cannot see storefronts or busy roads, only towering pines and open sky. It is ground floor (no stairs to climb) and right on the mountain allowing easy access to skiing and boarding and mountain biking too. We feel it is an added bonus that there is a great sledding hill outside our front door. It is a small secluded complex and it feels more like our own cabin vs a big condominium complex with multiple levels and buildings. A lot of places advertise as ski-in ski-out but we feel this is one of the few that truly is. Many others depend on heavy snowfall to cover parking lots to traverse to the lift. This is not the case as we are located right on the mountain.
