This beautiful & immaculately presented country villa enjoys all day sun and is set in a secluded location, yet is only 10 to 20 minutes´ drive to the charming white villages ('Pueblos Blancos') like Archez, Arenas, Canillas de Albaida, Corumbela and Competa. Located in a sunny location with beautiful views of vineyards and olive trees located in authentic Spain. A home to fully unwind.

The area around the swimming pool provides plenty of space for private sun bathing and the shaded dining terrace provides a great place for entertaining family & friends. It has very easy access (including a car porch) and is situated on a plot planted with a variety of fruit trees, including plum, apple, orange, lemon & almonds. The beautiful outdoor terrace with lots of privacy is the ideal place for those who want to relax. Here you can enjoy the sun and beautiful views or read a good book in the shade of the covered terrace. After a wonderful dip in the pool you will feel reborn. There is an outside shower and a BBQ.

Total plot is around 3200m2, with swimming pool (6.5mtr by 3.5mtr) and Wifi all around. A typical Spanish environment, <50 km from Malaga and 18 km from the Costa del Sol coast. There are 2 bedrooms (total 4 persons) with comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms with toilet and sink, 1 bathroom with bath.

Air conditioning in all rooms which cools or heats. Windows have shutters and mosquito nets. Furthermore, the property is well secured. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable seating with satellite TV.

Via a private entrance gate with asphalted sloping private driveway you reach the house and the large outdoor terrace with 3 parking spaces. Both in front and behind private grounds with fruit and olive trees. A covered terrace with seating and fan and a pergola with dining table.

Fantastic location in the middle of the Axarquia, nearby protected nature reserves. Good asphalted roads to the property (no dirty tracks) and connection (25 min) to the main highway (A7) between Granada and Malaga. Ideally located between Parque Natural Sierras de Tejeda Almijara and the Mediterranean Sea. In less than fifteen minutes you can drive to authentic white villages with small-scale shops and restaurants.

Furthermore, the location of the Casa offers you the opportunity to visit the cities of Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda and Granada within 1 to 3 hours' drive. In Torre del Mar (25 min) there are good bus connections to Malaga and other places and from Malaga there are good train connections.

The property is located in a quiet but certainly not isolated location. Whether you enjoy peace, walking, cycling, golf, horse riding, beach, shopping, good food or cultural trips, you will not miss out. A car is a must.

Very suitable for the family with children who want to splash in their own swimming pool, climb and clamber and love adventure, also for teenagers who want to rest after a busy study period and want to shop in Torre del Mar or Malaga.

You can ski during the winter season near Granada (100 km). From Competa (10 km) there are organized activities such as mountain biking, canyoning, jeep trails.

Schönes ruhiges Haus

Ein sehr schönes Haus, super ausgestattet. Allerdings sollte man sich vorher wirklich sicher sein, ob man die zahlreichen Kurven fahren möchte, um zum Strand und wieder zurück zu kommen. Dann hat man aber wirklich seine absolute Ruhe. Vielleicht noch zu erwähnen (was uns nicht bewusste war) das Haus hat keine Spülmaschine. Besonders angenehm, viele Dinge (Gewürze, Wasserflaschen, usw) sind bereits vorhanden. Der Pool war toll, nicht zu klein. Wir hatten eine kleine Hauskatze, super niedlich, fast hätten wir sie mitgenommen…

Fabulous villa to relax and unwind

Just got home after spending 10 wonderful days at Casa Arboleda with our 2 teenage children. As noted in other reviews the property was spotlessly clean and communication with the owners was excellent from start to finish. Casa Arboleda had everything we needed. We spent most of our time outdoors and really enjoyed sitting on the terrace, enjoying the views and having a dip in the pool. It took us about 25 minutes to drive from the motorway up to the villa. The road winds up into the hills and the villa itself is reached via a short, quite steep driveway, which is concreted and typical of access to villas in this area. The setting for us was perfect as we wanted a base from where we could explore the local area, and further afield but away from the hustle and bustle of a coastal resort. The kitchen at the villa is well equipped and we also used the gas barbecue. We followed some of the owners recommendations for eating out locally and were not disappointed!! Overall, we will look back on our time at Casa Arboleda with many happy memories and would love to return sometime.

La casa es muy bonita. La encontramos súper limpia y bien organizada. Tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia única. El contacto con los propietarios fue excelente. Sin duda una muy buena opciòn si se va con familia. Climatizada, con una piscina perfecta y áreas techadas que permiten pasar tiempo fuera de la casa. La recomendamos ampliamente

Heerlijk huis

Heerlijk vakantiehuis. Wij verbleven 2 weken met 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, schoon, fris, nieuw, verzorgd. Lekker zwembadje ook. Enige nadeel is dat het wel afgelegen ligt. Voor de meeste uitstapjes/boodschappen ben je al 20-25 min onderweg voordat je de berg af bent. Overigens wel weer paar leuke bergdorpjes in de buurt. Aanrader!

This house is very well equipped for self catering. Excellent kitchen equipment. Good choice of seating areas outdoors and plenty of shade. It was spotlessly clean and easy to use. It’s on a steep hill and it’s a drive to get to restaurants and shops so make sure you pick up supplies en route. Air con is very efficient. If I had any criticism it would be the bedlinen - over warm polyester quilt and polycotton duvet covers. A light summer quilt and pure cotton covers would have made a big difference. Other than that, a lovely holiday destination.

Wunderschönes Haus in traumhaft ruhiger Lage

Wir durften unseren Urlaub dieses Jahr mit unseren 2 Kindern in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbringen und es war ganz wunderbar. Bereits bei der Buchung zeigten sich die Vermieter absolut freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bei jeglichen Fragen vorab erhielt man zeitnah eine Antwort und bekam zusätzlich kurz vor Anreise ein umfangreiches Infopaket zugeschickt. Vor Ort trafen wir dann auf die Objektbetreuerin, die ebenfalls sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit in allem war. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet und äußerst sauber und gepflegt. Auch der Außenbereich ist liebevoll eingerichtet und besitzt sogar einen modernen Gasgrill. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde der Pool gereinigt und die Pflanzen bewässert, so dass wir uns wirklich um nichts kümmern mussten. Das Haus liegt mitten in den Bergen. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Kleinere Supermärkte und Restaurants sind in ca. 10-15 min Entfernung. Größere Geschäfte und Strand sind in Torre del Mar in ca. 35-40 min Entfernung zu erreichen. Wir können dieses Haus für einen erholsamen Urlaub nur empfehlen!

Fantastische vakantiewoning met huiselijke sfeer

Wij verbleven 10 dagen met onze 2 kinderen van 7 en 5 jaar in de vakantiewoning. De woning was heel proper en beschikte over alle nodige faciliteiten. Het voelde meer aan als een "thuis" dan een typische vakantiewoning. Kleine zaken (vb: beschikbaarheid van droogmolen, kleine attentie bij aankomst, aanwezigheid van drinkwater voor de 1e dagen, de persoonlijke verwelkoming) maakten voor ons het verschil. Heel leuk is ook de bundel die je ontvangt met persoonlijke tips qua te bezoeken steden, restaurants, ... Het is een prachtige omgeving met mooie bezienswaardigheden. Het enige minpuntje is dat het wat verder van het strand is gelegen (een wagen is dus een must) maar het privé zwembad maakt héél wat goed. Een echte aanrader om je vakantie er door te brengen!

Fantastisches Ferienhaus mit tollem Panorama

Wir genossen unseren Aufenhalt in der kleinen Villa in den andalusischen Bergen nahe Corumbela sehr. Das Ferienhaus bietet alles, was man als Urlauber braucht - und nich mehr. Eigener Gepflegter Pool, schöner Aussenbereich mit stilvollen und gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten. Eine komplette Ausstattung und individuelles Interieur sorgen dafür, das man sich sofort in der Villa wohl fühlt. Die Hausherren waren so nett auch einen kleine Erstaustattung der üblichen Lebensmittel (Wasser Kaffee etc.) vorrätig zu haben. Überhaupt war der Kontakt sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, sehr exzellente Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung.

A wonderful house for great holidays!

We spent a wonderful week in this house! Swimming pool is really great and the neighbourood is really quiet. House very well equipped (only barbecue didn't work but that was not really a pb for us). Wonderful walks in the campaign among almond trees and lizards ! White villages are about 15 mn from home by car. Thanks for these wonderful holidays!

Excellent villa in beautiful location.

The villa was excellent, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Great location with great views and real privacy. Comfortable beds and lounge, good bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The villa was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The only slight problem was an electrical fault which meant the power keep switching off when we were using appliances. It was easily turned back on at the fuse box, but was slightly annoying. There is no DVD player in the villa and only Dutch channels on the TV, which might be a consideration for some guests. The weather was extremely hot, but the air-conditioning meant that we were very comfortable. We really appreciated the shaded terrace with its' comfortable furniture and ceiling fan. The pool area was perfect. Having a shady place for the car was also helpful in the heat. We visited Granada, Malaga, Torre del Mar, Nerja and the surrounding white villages. We found Competa particularly charming and discovered several good restaurants there. Be careful driving into the villages as they have extremely narrow, steep roads, with no warning of what's ahead. We soon learned to park at the bottom of each village and walk up instead. If you hire a car try and get something with bit of power, as a stay at this lovely villa involves a lot of driving along steep, winding roads if you want to get out and about.

Een heerlijk huis in een prachtige omgeving

Wat hebben we genoten van dit heerlijke huis! Het huis ligt heerlijk rustig, op een berg, met een prachtig uitzicht. En al lekker van de zon kunnen genieten op heet terras. In de zomer, als het er flink warm kan zijn, is er ook een overdekt terras. Of je plonst in het mooie zwembad. We zijn door vele witte dorpjes gereden, zoals Frigiliana en Competa. Zeker het bezoeken waard. En ook hebben we een prachtige bergrit gemaakt . En natuurlijk heerlijk tapas gegeten. Wij komen zeker terug naar Casa Arboleda Sayalonga. De verhuurders zijn erg vriendelijk, en erg enthousiast.

Geweldig paradijsje in de bergen

De villa is vrij makkelijk te bereiken en ligt achter een gesloten ijzeren hek waardoor wij ons erg veilig voelden. Bij aankomst zie je gelijk het geweldige terras met zwembad en ligstoelen. Er staat ook een tafel buiten waar wij heerlijk aan hebben gegeten. (Buiten keuken aanwezig)Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Gezellig kleuren en alles aanwezig in het keukentje. In de huiskamer een kacheltje en een heerlijke loungebank en grote TV met Nederlandse kanalen. De slaapkamers zijn ruim opgezet en hebben grote kasten voor de kleding. De master heeft een eigen badkamer en de andere twee losse bedden met fris linnen. Alle ramen hebben luiken. Toen wij er waren (Maart) was het 31 graden op het terras maar binnen heerlijk koel. Er hangen in elke kamer Airco's die ook als kachel dienen dus in welke periode je ook gaat, de temperatuur in het huis is goed. Het hele huis is in top conditie en superschoon!!! De omgeving is prachtig en er zijn dichtbij leuke plaatsjes en restaurantjes. Het strand is een half uurtje rijden maar de villa biedt eigenlijk alles dat je echt niet ver weg hoeft te gaan. Ook hebben wij een excursie gedaan. Het stel reed ons langs diverse plaatsjes en smalle weggetjes tot bovenin de bergen. Wat een geweldige ervaring. De lokalen zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Deze omgeving is niet geschikt voor mensen die op zoek zijn naar boulevards, disco's en lawaai maar uitermate geschikt voor degene die rust zoeken en kunnen genieten van een geweldig huis in de bergen die alles heeft wat je nodig hebt om weer helemaal tot jezelf te komen. Wij raden je echter wel aan om een goede auto te huren.

You will find here nature, peace, good food, sports, culture, adventure, beaches, shopping (cities) in a peaceful and cost affordable environment. Discover the spots but without tourism : the southern mountains of Spain, African influences and above all the typically authentic friendly Spanish culture. A car to our casa is a must, but the large cities like Madrid (3 hours), Malaga (1 hour) and Cordoba (2 hours) and Seville (3 hours) have good train connections and in Torre del Mar there are good bus connections to beaches like Nerja or the city of Malaga. A fantastic tranquilo place to get back to earth and return home feeling relaxed. "Mi Casa es tu Casa"
