This lodging is just as described and reviewed. Very clean, kitchen outfitted for cooking, nice balcony, and The Best location! Everything except Coliseum is within a short walk. The market on the corner had all the grocery items and wine we needed. Lots of great local spots for eats and Apertivos. Be warned, in my opinion, Don Nino gelateria is a tourist trap, shop the small spots. Two cones cost us 32 Euros! They keep adding items to your cone without asking, and we thought it was included. Total ripoff! The stairs are steep, see the Pic, but unless you have mobility limitations it's no big deal. We had a blast, and this lodging was perfect. Host always replied timely.
We loved our stay at this VRBO apartment in Rome! The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of everything, with great cafés, shops, and souvenir stores just steps away. There’s even a convenient market right around the corner, which made picking up snacks and essentials super easy. And the best part—Don Niño, the world’s best gelato, is just steps away! The apartment was comfortable, clean, and perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Rome!
Really enjoyed our stay! This unit is central to almost all of the main attractions, there is food and shops right outside the door, and Piazza Navona is 2 blocks away (great for people watching and entertainment!). The unit was spacious and clean.
We were very happy with the communication with the host and we had everything we needed. The best part was the short walk to great gelato and neighborhood restaurants.
We loved the apartment and the neighborhood. It was easy to walk everywhere and we found lots of unique little cafes and bars on the side streets. Would recommend highly.
The location of this property is perfecto! Walking out the front door there are plenty of dining experiences rated 4.2 or higher. In our four days there, we walked all over the Historic District and Trestevere from the apartment. Everything was real close and Fede was great to work with.
We got used to the steep stairs that others talk about. The neighborhood is very quiet for such a central location. Comfortable queen- (not king-) sized bed, furniture less so, nice bathroom, minimally stocked kitchen. Good value.
The location cannot be beaten. You are 5-15 minutes from a long list of Rome must see locations. Less than 30 minutes to Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese. Well equipped quirky little unit. The outside space is a little less attractive than the picture and barely holds bistro table and two small chairs but has double door that brings the outside right into the apartment. The stairs are mentioned in many reviews and would be issue for anyone with mobility issues. There are about 15 steps with normal rise and average treads THEN 13 very steep stairs with sore treads that slope down. If you can manage these then this place is perfect with a bodega around the corner and restaurants too numerous to count with 5 minutes.
We loved it! The stairs are definitely steep but well lighted and there are only about 8 steep steps to conquer and really it is only twice a day since you can’t stay in your apartment in such an amazing spot. Otherwise the place was clean and quiet . Small balcony overlooking a courtyard. Bed was comfortable and bathroom suitable for two. The location is perfect. Just off of the piazza bacons in a pedestrian zone with tons of restaurants and shops. Pretty much no more than twenty minutes walk to everything.Would 100% recommend for single or couple visiting Rome!
We loved this apartment. Cute neighborhood, and great location for walking places. Felt very at home here. Sad to leave and would love to come back! (Had read the other reviews about the stairs, they are no joke! Just try not to overpack haha. But they’re manageable and just part of the experience!)
Perfect location near Piazza Navronne, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. There or many quaint restaurants around the corner. The apartment is spacious and convenient. Owner left a booklet with some excellent information about the area. Steps to the second floor are not recommended for those with balance issues. Overall, we were happy we choose to stay here and would book it again.

Thank you for your review Michael.
I'm glad you had a good time and I'm very pleased to read your words but then why did you leave only one star out of 5? ... just by mistake?
This was our first visit to Rome and this apartment was perfectly located. Even my husband commented on how everything about this apartment was exactly as stated. While Rome is a busy place, this location was a quiet nook in a lively neighborhood. We only forewarn those with mobility or very heavy suitcase issues - the stairs are very steep. Thank you Fede for making your property available.
Where do I begin?! The home is in a perfect spot, within walking distance to everything! We walked to the Vatican, the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, many quaint restaurants — seriously the perfect spot for exploring. The house was clean, comfortable, and included plenty of amenities. The bed was comfortable, pillows were great, a basic, but perfect kitchen. Fede, the owner, was quick to respond with questions and very friendly and helpful. The stairs are quite steep, but if you are active, it should be fine. Overall, a lovely stay and would def book again in the future!
we enjoyed very much the quietness in the appartment, even if we are very close to very lively spots. The bed was very comfortable, and in the kitchen we could use the little electric oven to make the bread from the day before as new-baked again without having to leave the appartment. The only thing very difficult for us old people was the 2 steep and narrow stone staircases. I will highly recommend the appartment to young and strong people, for whom it will be perfect!
This sweet little apartment is in the heart of Rome but on a quiet street so the location is wonderful. Everything was super clean. The air conditioner is located in the common area/ kitchen and didn’t really reach the bedroom very well so if you’re going during a super hot month like august, that’s something to keep in mind if you’re someone who loves AC, but we loved our stay in Rome! :)
This property was in a nice area with restaurants and shops a few feet from the door and still quiet at night. It was within walking distance to many of Romes attractions. Our host Federico got back to us quickly for all communications. Walking up the final flight of stairs to the apartment was very steep and you may want to hold on to both handrails on this narrow stairway. The people of Rome were always kind and helpful to us so this was the best part of trip.
