Cozy and quiet cottage in the countryside of Ceglie, in Valle d'Itria

Delightful and cozy villa surrounded by greenery, 5 minutes drive from Ceglie Messapica and 15 from the beautiful coast of Ostuni. Located in the heart of the Valle d'Itria, Ostuni, Alberobello, Cisternino, Brindisi and all the most beautiful places of Salento are easily and quickly reachable.

The villa can comfortably accommodate 4 people in every season of the year and consists of a large entrance / living room with fireplace, double bedroom made of ancient stone lĂĄmia, fresh in summer and warm in winter, another bedroom with walk-in closet and two single beds, which can be transformed into a second double bed, kitchen and bathroom already complete with all the necessary amenities.

Outside: large equipped patio, with adjacent wood-burning oven and barbecue area, outdoor shower, basket and availability of numerous parking spaces on the square provided with lighting.
The surrounding land is rich in olive trees and fruit and shade trees; under the oaks there is the relaxation area with several hammocks.
The garden is fenced and has two entrances: the main one has an electric gate, while on the back there is another with a manual gate.

Great country getaway

Away from the tourist attractions but close enough, this home was a tranquil retreat after a day visiting the local attractions. Francesco is a generous host and communication was excellent. Everything you need here and more. Bari and Lecce an hour away by train from nearby Ostuni.

This is a great place to stay. Plenty of room both inside and outside and, very comfortable. And, it has a wonderful outdoor shower! Only a 5 minute drive to the center of Ceglie and all the great restaurants. Yet, the property is secluded and is very quiet. Convenient road access to all the places we visited in Puglia, including the beach. The owners, Francesco and Luciana are wonderful. This is a place we plan to stay at when we return to Puglia.

Perfect stay in Ceglie.

My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay in Puglia. Francesco was a wonderful host. The home was in a great location; very centralized for visiting all the beautiful sites in Puglia. It is situated in an olive tree grove which lends itself to peace and quiet, yet it is only a few minutes drive from Ceglie, a beautiful hillside town with so much history as well as lots of great restaurants. The home was very clean and super comfortable. It is exactly as it appears in the pictures. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a stay in Puglia.

Das Haus und GrundstĂŒck war genau wie beschrieben. Es ist zwar nicht rollstuhlgerecht, aber durch vorhandene Rampen konnten die Stufen gut ĂŒberwunden werden. Innerhalb des Hauses war ausreichend Platz zum Bewegen mit dem Rollstuhl. Durch mobile Heizkörper konnte die abendlichen KĂŒhle im Wohnbereich und Bad vertrieben werden. Ansonsten schließen wir uns den Aussagen der voran gegangenen Rezensionen an. Die Erreichbarkeit und der Kontakt zu Francesco war außerordentlich gut. Er war sehr hilfsbereit.

Der Vermieter war telefonisch gut zu erreichen und hat gut geholfen. Das Internet/WLAN war manchmal etwas unzuverlÀssig. Wer es etwas abgeschiedener und ruhiger möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Partiamo dall'inizio: - il Sig. Francesco si Ăš da subito dimostrato flessibile in fase di check-in e si Ăš prodigato per venire incontro alle nostre esigenze da milanesi imbruttiti. - la casa Ăš immersa nella quiete della campagna messapica in posizione strategica per delle ferie all'insegna del Relax, Cultura e tanto mare cristallino che circonda questo tratto salentino della nostra splendida Italia. - la casa internamente ci Ăš stata presentata pulita in ogni suo dove (a prova di moglie Imbruttita), arredata con svariati dettagli che denotano attenzione e buon gusto che ti fa sentire Ospite ...e non cliente in una anonima dimora temporanea. Il vasto spazio esterno, da noi sfruttato tantissimo, comprende: - vasto parcheggio - ampio tavolo per colazioni assolate e cene ventilate dal quieto e rigenerante vento salentino - barbecue in muratura - dondolo ed amache - canestro per sfide uno contro uno ...svago per padri e figli iper - ultima ma non ultima...bella ed ampia doccia esterna (con acqua calda) Insomma non manca nulla. Infine per onestĂ  intellettuale mi permetto di scrivere alcune migliorie, ribadisco migliorie (giĂ  evidenziate al Sig. Francesco in fase di check out), ventilatore troppo potente e rumoroso anche al minimo per un uso notturno (less is more), assenza dello stampo per i cubetti di ghiaccio e l'asse del bagno non all'altezza del contesto. Concludo sperando di poter quanto prima ritornare per le ferie in questa bella location. Grazie di tutto Dario Riva

Emplacement idĂ©al pour visiter les Pouilles de par sa position centrale. Le logement est trĂšs calme et reposant, sans vis-Ă -vis ou proches voisins. Certes, nous avons eu chaud mais c'Ă©tait notre choix de nous y rendre fin juillet et dĂ©but aoĂ»t en pleine canicule. Si vous ne supportez pas la chaleur, optez pour la Scandinavie ;-) Fransesco est trĂšs disponible, attentionnĂ© et rĂ©actif pour rĂ©pondre aux diverses questions. La communication est aisĂ©e via Whatsapp. Attention vous ĂȘtes parfaitement situĂ© pour effectuer des visites mais un vĂ©hicule est absolument nĂ©cessaire!

Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir haben uns im Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Das Wohnzimmer ist im Winter dank des Kamins gut zu heizen. Feuerholz ist ausreichend vorhanden. Das Haus liegt ruhig, nĂ€chstgelegene Orte trotzdem gut per Auto oder Fahrrad erreichbar. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Een prachtige villa

We verbleven in een mooie, verzorgde, kraaknette villa met alle comfort om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. De villa is heel rustig gelegen en toch op een boogscheut van het centrum van Ceglie Messapica. Ideaal om 's avonds een restaurantje bezoeken. Ook een goede uitvalsbasis om de vele mooie stadjes van Puglia te gaan bezoeken. Het contact met de eigenaar Francesco verliep ook heel vlot. Een héél behulpzaam en attent persoon. Pas d'accueil Ă  notre arrivĂ©e (ce que je peux comprendre) eau chaude et rĂ©frigĂ©rateur non mis en service la notice d’installation Ă©tant en Italien nous avons eu du mal Ă  nous installer il serait bien d’avoir une notice dans toutes les langues des vacanciers reçus laissĂ©e sur la table Ă  vue. La maison n’est absolument pas fraĂźche l’étĂ© comme indiquĂ© dans l’annonce. Le coin dĂ©tente ne peut pas l’ĂȘtre, la toile des hamacs est moisi et ce coin est particuliĂšrement infestĂ© de moustiques, d’ailleurs il serait apprĂ©ciable de conseiller aux vacanciers lors des derniers Ă©changes de se munir de produits anti-moustiques 
 La maison est bien situĂ©e pour les visites. Francesco a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©actif lors de nos demandes.

Good location for Puglia with a friendly host

A comfortable and quiet villa, suitable for a family of four or just the two of you. A good-sized fridge freezer, hob (gas and electric) plus fan oven means that you can cook full meals if you so desire. There is a brick barbeque and pizza oven outside, but we didn't use them. There's a lot of outside space with good lighting for those warm evenings to sit and drink a glass of wine or two. This was our second visit, so Francesco (the host) must be doing something right. The villa is situated only 10-15 minutes from Ostuni with Ceglie Messapica only 5-10 minutes away - both were our main shopping towns. Although there is a bus service, I would recommend a car as I don't think it was very frequent. For visiting Puglia this is a good place to stay with all of the obvious tourist locations within 2 hours' drive and long sandy beaches about 30 minutes away. There is a screened, outside shower (with hot water) that is useful for washing off sand from the beach before you enter the villa. Many Puglia towns have an historic centre that is worth visiting, admittedly some are easier to drive into than others, but perseverance is the key. Grottaglie is great for pottery and if you visit Matera then be sure to visit Ginosa which is surrounded by a ravine filled with abandoned cave houses. A great comparison.

Super Erholung!

Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit! Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet. Es war alles da, was wir gebraucht haben. Das GrundstĂŒck ist riesig und es sind sehr viele Pflanzen da, welche Genug Schatten spenden. Unsere MĂ€dchen hatten viele Spielmöglichkeiten und hatten sehr viel Spaß. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und hoffen bald wieder zu kommen :)

Semaine trĂšs trĂšs agrĂ©able dans cette villa bordĂ©e de soleil le matin et plus douce le soir Ă  l'ombre des quelques palmiers . PropriĂ©taires trĂšs sympathiques et facilement joignables . SĂ©jour Formidable

Villa bien situĂ© Ă  proximitĂ© de toutes destinations, nous avons passĂ© un sĂ©jour formidable dans cette villa avec une intimitĂ© totale, aprĂšs une bonne douche Ă  l'extĂ©rieur barbecue chaque soir Ă  notre retour d'excursions . Nous avons Ă©galement eu la chance de rencontrer Mr Francesco et son Ă©pouse et la madrĂ© qui son de belles personnes distinguĂ©es et sympathiques. Ne connaissant pas l'italien on a pu se dĂ©brouiller et mĂȘme parfois accompagnĂ© de quelques parties de rires Heureusement l'Ă©pouse de Mr Francesco a quelques notions de français , mais comme disait la MadrĂ© pas besoin de traduire le rire est universel. Une adresse secrĂšte Ă  retenir allez y vous vous sentirez merveilleusement bien

Super relaxtes Ferienhaus

Wir hatten sehr entspannte Tage in Francescos Haus. Es war alles da, was man braucht. Das Haus sehr gerĂ€umig und alles in sehr gutem Zustand. Zu zweit haben wir gar nicht alles genutzt (z.B. den Grill). Besonders fĂŒr Familien ist es sicher noch viel besser geeignet. Die Lage ist sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr AusflĂŒge fĂŒr die wunderschönen StĂ€dte und deren SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten im Valle d'Itria. Auch die nĂ€chstgelegene und nicht so bekannte Stadt Ceglie ist auf den zweiten Blick wunderschön.

Schönes Ferienhaus, Entspannung pur

Absolut empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus, sehr sauber, große Terasse und Garten in einer sehr schönen Umgebung. Der Vermieter ist sehr herzlich und immer ansprechbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Wir haben die schöne Umgebung und umliegenden StĂ€dte (Ostuni, Ceglie Messapica, Cisternino, Martina Franca usw) und auch die Dörfer mit dem Rad erkundet. Auch das Meer ist nicht weit. Danke Francesco fĂŒr die Gastfreundschaft, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.

Wunderschöne und ruhige Oase zwischen zwei Meeren

Wer die Ruhe in mitten der Natur sucht aber trotzdem nicht weit von vielen Ausflugszielen und dem Meer sein will ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet und hat einen riesigen Garten mir verschiedensten BĂ€umen und Palmen. Sie können alle Mahlzeiten gemĂŒtlich draußen auf der Terrasse einnehmen. Wir durften auch die herzlichen Gastgeber Luciana und Francesco kennenlernen die wĂ€hrend unserem ganzen Aufenthalt immer fĂŒr uns erreichbar waren. Sie haben alles perfekt organisiert von der Anreise bis zur Abreise. Die Umgebung ist voller interessanter und wunderbarer Orte wie Ostuni, Ceglie Messapica, Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Alberobello... um nur ein paar wenige zu nennen die in der NĂ€he des Ferienhauses leicht mit einem Auto zu erreichen sind. Kurz zusammengefasst können wir das Ferienhaus von Luciana und Francesco nur wĂ€rmstens weiterempfehlen.
