Lovely house
The house was very clean, spacious and equipped with just about everything you could possibly want for your stay. It was really good to have a large selection of crockery and cutlery so that the dishwasher did not have to be put on in time for the next meal.
In addition the garden was large and well maintained. Fortunately we had good weather so did not need to utilise all the indoor games etc that were available.

A perfect stay for 10
We stayed at St Hilary’s, 5 adults and 5 children. The house is beautifully decorated and everything you need is there. Great location for walking and near to local pubs, shop and farm shop. The house is very spacious and the children loved playing hide and seek. The gardens are lovely but as it was winter we didn’t get to make the most of the garden. Would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return

A Lovely Family Holiday
We had a great time staying in St Hilary's House. Everything was as expected and requested for our family of 10. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. We had a minor issue with the downstairs toilet which was immediately seen to through the office in Wells. The bonus for us was the grand piano in the games room (as we called it). Most of us are musicians, which gave us a special treat. My son (check out "Young Elton" tribute on Facebook) was able to rehearse before his gig on the Saturday we left. If you want a lovely house and in the warmer months a beautiful garden for that al fresco touch, get yourselves to St. Hilary's House in the wonderful historic village of Little Walsingham,

Spent a wonderful week in this fabulous house with my husband, daughters, partners and grandchildren.
House is very roomy and the children had enough space of their own to play with newly acquired toys.
Lovely that there is no tv in main lounge. Beds are comfortable, everyone has their own en-suite which is a luxury.
Love the huge pantry, wonderful for storing all the festive food, every house needs one of these!
Setting is fabulous, previously stayed at this house in summer and the large garden was a delight. The Wells to Walsingham railway runs in a cutting at the top of the garden, you feel like the Railway children when it passes!!
Can’t really find anything negative to say about this house, had a fabulous time and hope one day to return.

Family friendly
We had three different generations in our party and each found the house accommodated their needs well. It was a good base to head out for the day from but equally easily to head into the village for a wander, coffee or meal.
The beds were very comfortable and there was everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.
The wooden floors upstairs were quite loud which meant the early risers did wake the others when going downstairs. Maybe a few runners along the hallway and stairs could help soften the clatter!
As we left we all commented on what a wonderful week we’d had.

A wonderful holiday was had by all.
Fabulous house, lots of room for guests of all ages, lots of games, dvds and even a piano! Sadly the weather was pretty dismal and we couldn’t enjoy the lovely big garden but the holiday was still enjoyed by all.

Awesome house
What a fantastic house. Its even bigger than it looks in the photos. There is everything you need in this house. We have stayed in lots of cottages over the last ten years and this was, by far, the most well equipped and comfortable.
The sitting room, with an open fire, and a stereo (with a collection of classic vinyls).... and NO TV was just brilliant.
Only 5 minutes away from Wells. The Riddle and Nelsons nearby provided great food. The garden was great for the kids and dogs.
I had a superb week.

A perfect house for a family holiday
St Hilarys was the perfect home for a half term family holiday, lots of light airy comfortable rooms, the house catered well for our mixed ages 16 months to 60, very well equipped and comfortable. The play/music room was perfect for the children to craft and play, lovely cosy TV room for chill out time. The main room is joined to the dining area and a very sociable area. There are beautiful gardens and well layed out bedrooms, comfortable beds and 4 bathrooms perfect for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with a big larder area.
The house is in a quiet area overlooking Countryside. I couldn't recommend this property more highly.

Fabulous cottage, would definitely go back
Really enjoyed our stay at St Hilary’s, shame we were only there for the weekend.
It’s in a great location only a few minutes walk to the local shops and places to eat. And a great base for short drives to visit other places too.
Ample room for us - we were a party of 7 - lovely gardens too which would be great to enjoy in the Summer.
No negatives at all bar one small niggle which was we couldn’t get the oven working - could work the grill fine but none of us could understand how to turn the oven on (I have the same model at home too!). Didn’t impact our stay as we mainly ate out however would have needed this should we have stayed longer. Perhaps some visible instructions on how to use this would be of benefit - or it might just have been us!
Another excellent point was the collection of music - it was perfect for my Mum (exactly her era) and we were there to celebrate her birthday so ideal
Overall an excellent place and would definitely go back.

Hidden Gem
This house is tucked away in a quiet village hidden between houses. It was a beautiful house with plenty of space for a large family gathering. The furniture was all really good quality in every room and had obviously been well thought out. We really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable, there was everything we needed. Every one of our party was very impressed.

A great family break
For a large family get together St Hilary's was ideal. Each bedroom had an en suite, with lovely comfortable beds and spacious areas for indoor and outdoor recreation. Close to a narrow gauge railway giving regular access to Wells next the Sea it solved parking problems and gave excitement for the youngest in the family group. Every possible implement for cooking was available to provide regular meals if needed. The provision of dvd's and games was great to provide entertainment when the weather was inclement. Parking on site was sufficient for our three cars with an excess available if required. A lovely location giving ready access to the north coast the ten in our family made t most of it. Could not fault it.

A wonderful week at St Hilary's House May 2017
What a super house and garden in a great location. Our party of eight had the most enjoyable time in St Hilarys House. This was the fourteenth year our family have rented various houses in England and Wales for our holidays and this is one of, or even the best, yet. The only thing that was missing was a television in the Drawing room. With eight people ranging from early twenties to seventy odd we did not all want to watch the same programs. Having said that the Hi-Fi and selection of old L.P's kept some of us amused during our stay. All in all a good time was had by all and a return visit in the future could well be on the cards.

The whole family had a wonderful time. It was also lovely to be able to take our grandaughters dog.
We were a party of 9 plus dog. We really appreciated the space at St. Hilary's as it meant we were not all on top of each other and could spread ourselves around the property. We loved the garden, but wished there had been a barbeque.
We liked the quirky village and the two pubs were lovely. We had no idea of the religious connection when we went (I booked the accommodation because of the space and the fact it was dog-friendly), but found that of some interest.
Altogether a delightful week for everyone.
