Why choose my house? I could immediately say to you "Because it is mine!" and it is, in the most affective than literal sense of the term. It is my mom's house that, over the years, I have made mine, furnishing and taking care of it as a precious thing: there are the gifts received, the memories of the many trips around the world, the photos, the antique family cabinets or bought from the junk shop or the more valuable ones. Perfect location

The house is a jewel, also comfortable and spacious. In my case the location is ideal, very good area and next to the house I grew up in. Perfect!

Lovely apartment within short walk of Catania centre

We had a great time in the apartment. Using it as a base to explore beautiful Catania. It was a sizeable apartment, excellent value for money and only a short walk to lots of sightseeing opportunities. It has all the facilities you require. Including the option of hiring a private garage if with a hire car. I would fully recommend anyone to book the apartment. Discover authentic Catania at your leisure.

Clean and spacious, good value but a long way out.

Sonia the owner was very friendly in messages - we didn’t meet her as her nephews showed us the flat and garage (extra cost). She usually replied within a few hours. The apartment is on the first floor of a block with approx 8 floors, with more blocks surrounding it; safe but not attractive. The flat felt as if a relative had recently moved out - homely but not very restful, some clothes were still in the wardrobe, and a whole room was closed off. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. The bathroom was adequate but the towels were very old and thin. The bedroom had a very hard mattress and thin, old pillows. All clean but I found it very difficult to sleep. The city centre *is* in theory 5-10 minutes away but the almost constant hectic traffic means that it is more likely to be 15-30 minutes’ drive especially during the week. The parking will take some time too! Definitely 20+ minutes’ walk downhill into the centre - longer on the way back uphill! There are no places to eat nearby except a burger cafe. A food shop is within a few minutes’ walk for the basics. In all, it was fine to use as a base, reasonably priced, but not convenient for the bustling city centre where all the places of interest are.

Een echte thuis in Catania

Ons verblijf in het appartement van Sonia was werkelijk fantastisch.Vanaf het eerste contact verliep de communicatie heel vlot en vriendelijk. Sonia en haar familie waren ontzettend gastvrij en behulpzaam, zowel voor als tijdens ons verblijf.Het appartement is zeer verzorgd, smaakvol ingericht en van alle comfort voorzien. Alles was kraaknet bij aankomst, en we voelden ons er meteen thuis.De ligging is ideaal: in een rustige buurt, maar toch dichtbij het centrum van Catania, winkels en openbaar vervoer. Ook de tips die we kregen over uitstapjes in de regio waren zeer waardevol.Een extra pluspunt was de flexibiliteit bij het uitchecken, wat ons vertrek erg ontspannen maakte.Kortom, we hebben niet alleen genoten van Catania en Sicilië, maar ook van een warm en zorgeloos verblijf dankzij Sonia.Wij raden dit appartement zonder enige twijfel aan en hopen in de toekomst nog eens terug te keren!Dankjewel Sonia voor alles!Nikias & Shaba

Nah an der Wirklichkeit der Sizilianer, tolle Erfahrung und Erlebnisse

Es war alles perfekt, 6 verschiedene Buslinien machten auch das Reisen in andere Orte und Küsten leicht, manchmal aberteuerlich.

Super tolle Wohnung

Wir waren für 2 Woche in Sizilien in der Wohnung von Sonia. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Ausstattung der Wohnung, es war wie im Inserat beschrieben. Die Wohnung war zentral die Innenstadt gut zu erreichen. Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf waren zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Ottima soluzione

Appartamento ben arredato e molto ben tenuto, in situato a poca distanza dal centro città, raggiungibile sia in auto che a piedi. Di Sonia che dire, molto ospitale, fondamentali sono state le sue dritte circa le località da visitare e i posti in cui mangiare dell'ottimo cibo. Consigliatissima.

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, die komplett ausgestattet ist. Einfach einziehen und wohlfühlen. Die Wohnung ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um Catania zu entdecken, sowie das weitere Umfeld. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war jederzeit tadellos! Sie war immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Immer wieder gerne!

Come a casa👍

L'esperienza a casa di Sonia è stata molto piacevole. Praticamente ci siamo sentiti come a casa, è come se fosse la casa in cui si vive la "quotidianità". Non manca proprio nulla. Una cosa che mi ha colpito positivamente e stato trovare un kit di asciugamani (bidè,viso e doccia) per ogni singolo ospite con colorazioni differenti, spesso non è così. Vicino al centro e a tutti i servizi. Consigliato!!!

Ottimo!!

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana in questa casa curatissima e ospitale, non mancava nulla.La proprietaria è gentilissima e molto disponibile. La zona dista circa 10 mn a piedi dalla villa Bellini. Proprio sotto casa c'è una panineria ottima e a pochi passi ci sono il Penny ed altri esercizi commerciali. Ottima la brioche con la granita da Magri'.

L'apartement est très bien, mais il est situé dans quartier trop industriel avec peu de service à courte distance.

Perfect base for a week in Catania

An apartment that perfectly met our needs and expectations. There was everything we needed including a garage for our rental car. The apartment is situated close to centre in a quiet street at night. Very helpful and responsive communication with the owner. An accidental incident with the water system was handled prompt and professionally by the owner. The beds where fine but the mattresses a bit hard compared to our preference which is the only downside I can think of.

In vacanza come a casa........

Io e due nipoti adolescenti abbiamo trovato una sistemazione ottima per le nostre esigenze: una casa perfettamente arredata e corredata dove ognuno ha potuto avere un proprio spazio. Abbiamo girato sempre a piedi, perchè il centro non è eccessivamente lontano.

Un appartement au top

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'appartement de Sonia.. Tout est fait pour notre confort . L'emplacement est très bien ; proche arrêts de bus et on peut facilement se rendre à pied en centre ville. Nous avons apprécié les petits commerces de proximité notamment l'épicerie d'en face qui propose des croissants et brioches entre autres et des packs d'eau, pratique quand on est à pied ..
