Villa Querencia is a situated overlooking the Volcanic island of Stromboli, where the sky meets the sea above the shimmering waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Villa Querencia is among the most sensational view homes for rent in Zambrone Marina. The Villa is situated on a high bluff with a majestic 180° ocean view that provides the ultimate getaway experience for travelers wanting to take in the beautiful sunsets of "The Coast of the Gods" and all that nature has to offer. The Villa comfortably sleeps 4 adults in 2 full Bedrooms with the second bedroom equipped with an additional bed/sofa which sleeps 1.

The spectacular terrace features a covered loggia where you can enjoy a glass of Prosecco while admiring the sunsets or take your just grilled fish off the built in grill. The terrace also has an open area where you can sunbathe to your hearts content. Beaches are a 3 minute car ride or 15 minute walk and are clean with beach clubs and restaurants eager to accommodate your requests.

If you prefer a quieter beach experience, there are several beaches accessible only on foot with a short 30 minute walk "la spiaggia del leone" (Lion’s beach). Tropea, the jewel of southern Italy is a short 10 minute car ride with countless restaurants and shopping. This family friendly villa is also completely private and gated with free parking on premises for 2-3 cars. WiFi included.

Would stay here again!

Salvatore was very helpful & there to greet us. Clean with a very large deck with all you need and the view of Stromboli, an added plus. Lots of dishes, etc. in the kitchen. Good secure parking, large comfortable beds, lots of hot water and a beautiful jasmine hedge surrounding the property. A 15 minute drive for groceries & short drives for restaurants & beach so a car is necessary. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful views

We travelled here with another couple. The villa was very comfortable, well-stocked and spacious. We simply loved the deck overlooking the sea. We had breakfasts and dinners outside. It was a close drive to Tropea and we spent a day there doing a boat tour and sightseeing in the Old Town. This area is picture perfect and this villa was a perfect place to stay. a d

Eine Woche Erholung pur

Nach einer Woche Rom/Neapel haben wir uns in der Villa Querencia sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Villa liegt in einer traumhaften Lage am Hang über dem Meer und es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt. Das absolute Highlight ist die große Terrasse von der wir am Abend bei einer guten Flasche Wein die Sonnenuntergänge, mit oder auch ohne Stromboli im Hintergrund, beobachten konnten. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter und dem äußerst freundlichen Verwalter klappte von Beginn an, auch dank eines Übersetzungsprogramms, hervorragend. Nochmals ein großes Dankeschön an Frank und Salvatore. Bernd

Un grande grazie al proprietario per l'ospitalità. Tutto è ben organizzato e funzionale. La vista ed i tramonti sul mare sono stupendi. Molto valido anche il contatto in loco per l'accesso alla casa e per la soluzione di problemi contingenti e consigli. Vicini ci sono le belle spiagge di Zambrone ed anche diversi diversi punti vendita e ristoranti per passare una bella vacanza. Da tornarci.

Villa magnifica con vista mare

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare presso villa Querencia dal 3 al 10 agosto. La villa è splendida,in posizione tranquilla e arieggiata, la terrazza è grande e la vista è davvero mozzafiato. Abbiamo sempre mangiato fuori, godendo della vista mare e di Stromboli, quando il cielo è limpido. Come l'esterno, anche l'interno della casa è ben arredato e accessoriato, dotato di ogni comforts. Tutto è curato e funzionale. Frank, il proprietario, è stato solerte a rispondere alle nostre domande via mail e ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni utili per il soggiorno . Salvatore, ci ha accolti con gentilezza e si è mostrato disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta di aiuto. La zona è ricca di spiagge belle( molto vicine in auto) e posti da vedere. Consiglio vivamente Villa Querencia, io, mio marito e i miei figli la porteremo nel cuore!

The scent of jasmine, the singing of birds, the murmur of the sea. Paradise on Earth.

Our stay was just sensational. Although the weather was not good, which was a pity due to the perfection of the beach, we still enjoyed a ten-day stay. Jasmine smelled everywhere, birds sang, the sea sang. Total peace and quiet. What more can one wish for? Thank you

Settimana da favola in quel di Zambrone. Purtroppo il tempo non è stato dei migliori ma Frank e Salvatore hanno saputo farci sentire come a casa. La villa è stupenda e la vista mozzafiato. Senza parole. Consigliatissimo!

Incredible view!

We spent a week in the beginning of July 2018 in this stunning appartement. We had to meet the manager at his work place. It was very easy get there and the man, Salvatore, was so kind and so helpful. We had an issue with the AC and as soon as he could, he sent a team of technicians who fixed the problem. It was very easy to communicate with him. He was just so generous of his time, made sure everything was ok and also gave us essential informations regarding where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see. The appartement has 2 bathrooms & 2 bedrooms. It’s very clean and everything works well from the washing machine to the Wifi. We were blessed to have found this gem on VRBO. The best was to watch the sunset with the views of the Stromboli volcano on the left side of the terrasse. It was just stunning! I would definitely go back to Villa Querencia! Also Frank, the owner, was very efficient and also very sympathetic. Everything was well organized and we felt welcomed. Thank you so much for an unforgettable week spent in Zambrone! Das Haus liegt oberhalb des Meeres am Berg und bietet einen fantastischen Ausblick.

Die Villa Querencia ist komplett ausgestattet. Eine große Terrasse befindet sich vor Wohn- und Schlafraum, so fass mittels der großen Schiebefenster jederzeit der herrliche Ausblick genossen werden kann. Sinnvoll ist ein Auto vor Ort, da die Entfernung zum Strand für einen Fußmarsch zu groß ist. Wir haben schon von zu Hause einen Mietwagen über den ADAC gebucht. Lief alles problemlos. Das Meer ist sehr schön. Gelegentlich gibt es je nach Wind und Wellengang auch mal Treibgut im Wasser, das ansonsten sehr klar ist. Es gibt viele Hotelanlagen mit eigenen Strandabschnitten. Der öffentliche Strand in Marina di Zambrone ist in der Regel ausreichend. Wer flaches Wasser am Strand erwartet wird enttäuscht sein. Nach etwa 10 m kann selbst ein Erwachsener nicht mehr im Wasser stehen. Die Gelateria im Ort am Bahnhof hat sehr leckeres Eis. Zum Einkauf von Lebensmitteln bietet sich zwar der kleine Supermarkt im Ort an, eine größere Auswahl findet man aber im COOP in Pizzo oder im IPERSPAR in Vibo Valentia. Ein Ausflug zur Vulkaninsel Stromboli lohnt sich auf alle Fälle. Wir waren schlichtweg begeistert. Die Boote fahren von Tropea aus in 90 Minuten montags und donnerstags dorthin. Preis € 45,- Unser Aufenthalt in der wirklich schönen Villa Querencia hat uns bestens gefallen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war problemlos. Er antwortet immer prompt. Der Verwalter vor Ort ist ein netter Italiener, der leider bei Deutsch und Englisch spricht. Hier bietet sich eine Übersetzuns-App an. Allen viel Spaß beim Urlaub in der Villa Querencia in Marina di Zambrone

Hervorragend ausgestattetes Haus mit herrlichem Blick

Wir haben uns zu dritt sehr wohl in diesem Haus am Berg gefühlt. Es war wirklich alles da, was man in einem Ferienhaus benötigt. Und der Blick ist einfach berauschend. Die Klimaanlagen als Heizgeräte reichen nur bedingt aus. Wir haben uns dann bei einem Händler im Nachbarort Holz gekauft und den kleinen Ofen beheizt, das war wunderbar.

Lovely stay - Absolut erholsamer Urlaub

Dear Frank/Lieber Frank, Thank you very much for all your efforts/Vielen Dank für deine Unterstützung. We loved to be your guests in your very accomodate and lovely furnished villa. Wir freuen uns, dass wir deine Gäste in deiner sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichteten Villa sein durften. The position of the villa is optimal to explore the wonderful beaches (5 min by car) and the surroundings (direct street to the green yards of Monte Pero). Die Lage der Villa ist optimal sowohl die wunderschönen Strände (5 min Autofahrt) oder das Hinterland um den Monte Pero (direkte Straßenanbindung) zu entdecken. A little bit noisy due to a construction activities of a new building which will be finalised by end of September this year. Ein wenig Baulärm wegen eines Neubaus, der jedoch Ende September fertiggestellt sein wird. (only a few hours a day/nur ein paar Stunden am Tag). Of course, we would rent this villa anytime - recommedation for a nice place in Calabria. Natürlich würden wir die Villa sofort wieder anmieten - Empfehlung für einen schönen Ort in Kalabrien. Why they chose this property

With access to Lamezia Terme airport only (40 minute drive), the ports at Reggio Calabria to access the ferries to Messina (60 minute drive), Villa Querencia is the perfect destination to base your southern Italy travels. The pristine beaches are clean and family friendly. Our gated villa is safe and located on a private road for residents only. We are a 2 minute drive to countless gelaterie, cafe's and restaurants. Of course, the crown jewel of Calabria TROPEA is a short 10 minute drive away.

What makes this property unique

The sunsets from your large private balcony are the most incredible you can experience, it's as though you have a private showing all to yourself. The unique positioning of the villa with it's 100 meter elevation allows unobstructed views of this spectacular light show each evening. If privacy is more to your liking, there are several "walk only" beaches which are accessible only on foot. If you prefer the inclusion of beach clubs, the lido at Zambrone Marina is your destination with several restaurants, music as well as a local water park all accessible from our local beach.
