Nice unit - not the best location,
Downstairs shower needs a shower caddy.
Never was able to connect to the internet. I kept getting a message that the password was incorrect .
TV in the living room worked well.

Hi Cheryl: Thank you for your review for family Condo #31. We are delighted to hear that you found the condo to be a "nice unit". We're not entirely sure what you mean by "not the best location"(?). We will pass your comments regarding the need for a shower caddy to the property owners. They are very attuned to Guest comments/critiques. We experience quite a few power spikes here at the end of the grid in our heavily wooded mountain area. When this occurs, wifi passwords typically default to the WPA signature (a case sensitive series of letters and numbers) that appears on the modem. This info is provided in conjunction with the Guest check-in materials. We're sorry that you didn't take the time to read them or reach out to us at some point during your 2-night stay. We would have been more than happy to assist you. Thank you for the reasonably neat and tidy way in which you left the condo upon departure. Respectfully, Dan
The steps to the condo are very hazardous and need to be cleared off or grates need to be installed on steps. There is slippery slime on these steps and not acceptable for any age. There was no firewood for the fireplace. We left a day earlier than our rental time because of lack of snow at Mt Baker. The condo was well equipped.

Hi Jean: Thank you for the 4-star review for family Condo #31! We are very disappointed to hear that you "will not rent the condo again", and promise to do our very best to provide you with more favorable weather conditions during your next visit to the Mt. Baker area. In this regard, we hope that you'll give the Mt. Baker Ski Area another try in the future. Thank you for reporting the conditions with the stairs. We will pass this information along to the community HOA, who is responsible for attending to such matters. Had you of taken the time to reach out to us during your stay, we would have been more than happy to contact the HOA, so that their maintenance team could have been dispatched to address the frosty conditions that you encountered. As noted on the listing description, you are absolutely correct in that; while the condo is heated by electricity, no firewood is provided for the fireplace at the condo. That said; free firewood is available at the community office. We appreciate your comment that "the condo was well equipped". Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the condo upon departure. We hope to hear from you again whenever your travels bring you back to the Mt. Baker area :) Happy trails, Dan

Decent Condo
This condo is decorated very nice, but there were some issues. The unit was not very clean, particularly the dishes as I ended up having to wash many of them again. Also, I moved the coffee table and found a lot of uneaten food underneath but did not have a vacuum to clean it up. Lastly, there was no dish washing soap or dishwasher soap in the unit, so I did have to buy it locally. It makes it difficult to start the dishwasher before leaving (requirement per checkout instructions) if there is no soap. I'm not sure I would stay in this particular unit again.

Hi Carol:
Thank you for your review for family Condo #31. We are very sorry to hear that part of your experience was less than desirable. It appears that the dishwasher was not working properly, (it has now been repaired) and that a previous Guest put some of the dishes away with a film on them. This should have been detected by housekeeping, as should the food particles that you found when moving the coffee table. As for dish soap, dishwasher detergent, etc., there were almost full containers of each located in a kitchen cabinet, (as were trash/garbage bags and other cleaning products) so it was completely unnecessary for you to purchase these items. We do have to place these items out of reach of children, (insurance requirement) so they are not kept under the kitchen sink...families with children generally appreciate this. Unfortunately, all ills could have easily been rectified with a quick phone call or e-mail, (the condo has both a land line and wifi connectivity) but we did not hear from you at any time during your 3-night stay. Again, we're very sorry that there were some unsatisfactory issues, and ever sorrier that were we not provided with a chance to correct those issues to your satisfaction during your stay. Respectfully, Dan
Great spot for a huge comfy bed and couch.
Not the most practical use of space, but for a place to sleep while you hit the slopes or trails it is good enough.
Property management was friendly and responsive to issues and made up for the inconvenience of the stove not working.

Hi Daniel: Thank you for the great review for family Condo #31! We are delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable stay overall, and do sincerely apologize that the oven went on the fritz during your stay. We're happy to hear that you found the condo to be a "great spot for a huge comfy bed and couch. We hope that you had an opportunity to take advantage of the indoor fireplace during your visit. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the condo upon departure. It was truly a pleasure hosting you. We would highly recommend you to other hosts, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next visit to the Mt. Baker area :) Happy trails, Dan
Overall, very nice. There was a fan or some loud noise going most of the night the first night we were there. We think it was coming from the unit under us. It was hard to sleep in the lower bedroom since it woke us up. Also, there were many light switches that did not connect to lights and we had to figure out how to turn on lights.

Hi Shira:
Thank you for your review for family Condo #31! We are delighted to hear that your stay was satisfactory overall. While we did not hear from you at any time during your 2-night stay, your assumption was correct in that it turned out to be an exhaust fan from a neighboring unit. While we don't manage that particular unit, we simply notified the community manager, and the problem was resolved in less than 10-minutes from the time of our call. You are also correct in that most of the lights are controlled by the individual lamp switches, and not by the wall switches. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the condo upon departure. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next visit to the Mt. Baker area :) Happy trails, Dan

Nice condo with great layout
We really enjoyed staying at this condo. Comfortable beds and sofa. Cable tv in the living room. Couldn’t get the tv to work in the bedroom and so that was kind of a bummer hanging with a new baby. Internet worked off and on. Next time I’d bring my own pot and colander to make pasta. (Colander was broken and Teflon pot was super scratched up.) Appliances were new and nice. We enjoyed the Bluetooth speakers provided. Great location. Overall a great place to stay.

Hi Kristen:
Thank you for the 4-star review for family Condo #31! We are delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable stay, and hope that you had an opportunity to take advantage of the fireplace while you were there. Sorry, but the monitor in the lower bedroom is for use with the provided DVD player, and not set-up on satellite as is the monitor in the living room. I will make mention of the colander and Teflon pot to the owners. They are very responsive, and would most definitely want to know about that. Yes, the appliances are relatively new/modern, and the beds are brand new, lending themselves for a good nights rest! Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the condo upon departure. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next trip to Mt. Baker :) Happy trails, Dan

Disappointed
The decor is dated and dusty - it just feels like the condo needs an overall deep cleaning.
The internet did not work and we could only get one channel on the TV. This is a big deal in Glacier! Without WiFi, there is no internet.

Hi Ingrid: Thank you for your review for family Condo #31! We are very disappointed to hear that your stay was less than you expected. The condo was professionally cleaned and inspected prior to your stay, so we are a bit unclear as to what you feel needed attention. While we did not hear from you in this regard during your 3-night stay, perhaps you can contact us offline to further discuss. As the description states, wifi is relatively new and very sporadic in our wooded mountain area. While it is free, it is not guaranteed. There is also no TV reception or cable access in our wooded mountain area, so this is definitely an "unplugged" experience. I'm very surprised to hear that you were able to receive "one channel". The monitor is provided for purposes of the DVD player (as advertised). For communications purposes, a landline is provided. Local calling (county wide) is free, and long distance can be accessed with a calling card. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the condo upon departure. Happy trails, Dan
