The place was very cozy and inviting. We came from Arizona to see the scenic views and we were not disappointed. Such a quiet place with lots of things to do. People are really friendly especially at the 3 C's restaurant. Check them out!!!!
Lovely, well maintained property, very clean and comfortable, it seemed every need we could possibly have was anticipated! Well stocked kitchen and lovely welcome basket food gifts. It was fun to watch the farm animals across the road. Many attractions nearby that we enjoyed, including Hawk Mountain, Wanamakers General Store, Blue Rocks Glacial Field, Leaser Lake, and WKS Railroad! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
My husband and I absolutely loved the stay here. This was exceptional, had everything we needed and then some. The host provided homemade bread, cookies, bacon, eggs, and coffee! We live on coffee, so an awesome plus for us before we headed home. The host was very responsive and let us check in early. We will be absolutely be coming back here.
Our stay rates at least 7 stars! Next time we will try to stay at least a week. Kudos to our hosts' efforts to ensure a pleasure-filled experience. This restored schoolhouse may well be the most enjoyable ‘restore your soul’ home away from home adventure we've had yet.
Clean home with a story! Lovely location near Hawk Mountain in PA. 360º gorgeous views. Well provisioned kitchen. Just a perfect stay. Highly recommend!
A beautiful, peaceful location, with lots of outdoor space. We spent mornings and evenings on one of two outdoor spaces (patio and front porch), enjoying watching the sheep and donkeys right across the road. The accommodations were thoughtfully loaded with all the requirements and many extras, such as local foods for our first breakfast. Kitchen was well stocked. We'll visit this place again.
We loved our stay. It was clean, cozy and very well stocked. We appreciated all the amenities and information provided. Would definitely love to stay again.
The schoolhouse is cozy and charming. The hosts have anticipated guests' needs and provided everything for a lovely stay.
We enjoyed the beautiful scenic setting and the animals at the farm across from the schoolhouse.
